Part 23

Angie came to visit Atul, cos she knew he would know a lot about Arman, which she may not know...poor Atul in a fix now, both are his friends, can't let anyone down....

Ridz trying to dodge Arman's question, cos wasn't sure how to tell him...I loved the explanation of Tantalus, didn't know about it at all, yet another addition to my knowledge, thanks to you!

I agree with you that the AR date wasn't very mushy or overly romantic, but I really enjoyed reading it as much, sometimes silence speaks volume, sometimes, you can speak something & mean totally different to it, or the same too. which happened quite a few times....when she says she is irrestible, she really didn't expect him to agree but he did........she turns red & he calls her adorable...these cute little things really make my day.....one doesn't need to use over mushy words or flirt all around the time, small gestures like these, have immense effects too..

I loved your explanation of 'Arman' see I told you, you are my dosage of English, I learn from your FF...again in midst of this, Arman puts Ridz into fix, when he says his mom would love to meet her...its like its his heart desire too...how romantic!!!

Arman being the cheeky one, made her agree for yet another date...

Him accompanying Ridz to the hospital, was a nice gesture, I guess he would have done that for any girl, through gentleman!

Part 24

When I was reading Atul/Agie's convo, I was on the edge of my seat, wasn't sure, how you were going to stern the conversation out from the dangerous waters, specially, when she asked if Arman was ever in love, that was one hell of a conversation

Am not sure, if Atul was in love or no, maybe he made up his story to convince Angie that its good to be friends rather than loose that too....

Rahul - you know, am not sure, which of your characters I don't like, there is not a single one, I don't adore, yet the degree varies ;))...he is such a nice boy, poor guy, got refused by both his fav gals...Ridz had a good reason, Muskan wants to sort her feelings towards him & wants to make peace with herself about Rahul/Ridz's friendship...the call from Rahul was so unexpected, the convo was going so smooth, till Rahul blurted out his heart's desire, I hope he doesn't take Muskan's refusal to talk further negative.....

Arman coming to pick Ridz....awwwhhhh cho chweet, I would love that too...its like they are drawn towards each other, despite the fact that they are both trying to dismiss it as mere friendship...I simply loved the term you used - Pregnant Silence, I never thought this word could be used here, but can totally relate to it...wonderful my girl!!! Oops!! Teacher....

Later Arman bringing in his response to her Tantalus reference, I did wonder at that time, as to why he didn't say anything, cos they are always ready to get even with each other...I loved his response....he way he put across his point, that she doesn't want someone to get hurt, who cares about her, I think he is trying to say it could be Rahul who could be hurt, if they go out together....then he even put himself in her shoes & made it clear to her that there is no one on his side, that he has given the rights to dictate his choice....it was out across so simple, yet elegantly ....

Rahul all anxious to meet his lovely lady, loved his comment to Ridz....'what did you do, spend the whole time together?'

The best so far, I think, is the word Consummate, when I read it, in the part, I was totally taken aback, not cos I thought that Ridimma's intentions were not good, but for the fact, that I haven't read this usage (shows my poor reading habits) before, I felt it was the most beautiful usage, when I read I understood the meaning, but when I read your explanation, it kind of completed my understanding.

well the part was soothing,yes it had a lot happening especially when Atul almost had a big chunk of it to let out all he held within
it just left me thinking of so many possibilities and of course the very obvious Atul and Anjie I noticed surprisingly,coz i never see the obvious and think of stuff that may never be
Atul is such a great guy,loved his views and they jus sounded so real and true
and RM were a delight to read ,awesomely penned!
now back to AR ,Ridz character is just so different from all the ones I've read before,love her truly,
Armaan does amaze me with his actions,he's a sweetheart

u just make it so tough to decide wat char i like the most
atul and Ridz mite take the lead but hen u surprise me every time

Wow what a story!!! I so loved it......

I got to know abt this fic in the Recommendations thread....And i spent the entire day today reading all the 24 parts....I was totally hooked to it and couldn't leave it till i finished all the 24 parts.....

Each character in your fic is a total delight to read. I love Atul's character here....he's such a great guy.....RM plot is fab....I love reading their parts....the way they both are attracted to each other and the way they react is so realistic....I can actually relate to them....

and AA convo's was superb....Atul is a great guy....he's like a true friend to all the character's in the stoy.....he knows whats going on in everyone's mind even if they don't tell him....now that's what a great friend is....

and ofcourse AR....they are so awesome...I love Riddhima's character...as Atul thinks in you fic- she has that spunk....we are so used to that meek Riddhima that it was great to read a differnt fiercly indepent Riddhima.....loved her enthusiasm...one can actually feel it while reading....
And Armaan...haye!!!! what should I say abt him....he's a wonderful guy....a toatl sweetheart.....I loved reading those parts when AR were putting each other in tight spots....it was so awesome....specially that Hindi movie one....poor Armaan....Riddhima really had him there....

so in 1 line i'm totally addiced to your fic man!!!
And yeah, last thing, you have a vast knowledge and the way u have incorprated it all in the story is again superb....of all the things you mentioned in the story i only knew abt GWTW, since it is one of my fav novel....

Good to have you back! No, its not nonsense….I enjoy reading your comments…yup I guess Anjali felt the need to unburden herself or at least talk to someone who knew Armaan as well as Atul did and perhaps she walked away feeling better hearing that Armaan had not confessed to Atul about being in love with someone, I guess we all clutch at straws at times like this!

I am so glad that you enjoyed the references to Tantalus and the linking of Armaan's name to the House of Arman! I am so gal that you liked their date and the small little exchanges which to me are far more romantic than overt gestures and words! And I agree with you, being the guy he is, he would go to the hospi with any friend but it was still a nice gesture!

Poor Rahul, I guess the wait is getting too much for him! Like he said, not used to being vehemently rejected by two of his favourite women in a space of a few seconds! Let see whether his indiscretion gets him into trouble! Yup, I agree it was very cute of Armaan to come and pick her up – akalmand ko ishara hi kafi hot hai!

Poor Armaan and Ridhima, pretty embarrassing comment to be the recipient of!
