Sam-"and hide me in the car so that I will die unfound?"
Rin-"no, so that you can live unfound"
Before Sam could reply, Kaveri screamed and lunged towards them her weapon raised in attack. Sam jerked aside and Sid tried to block by grabbing the weapon, it was a futile attempt. The IV pole sailed near his head and met flesh of the person behind him.
"SH*T!!!! F******* S***!!!! You HIT ME!!!!!"
"F********* BITCHES!!!!!!"
Sam had missed grabbing the pole but he saw two man going for his wife, without thinking of betrayal and devious games, Sam charged(football style) towards the thug nearest him, hoping his brother covered the other and Sid did.
After the sudden crash, the slight surprise, the struggling to gain back footing and backing away, the situation cleared. The thugs were here, and maybe... just maybe their wives were innocent.
thug1-"well well what do we have here?(sneer) now we were worried about rounding y'all up and then taking care of y'all too, but thanks for doing the rounding up job fer us... just like that a**hole drove stupidly for us..."
Thug 2 swiped blood off his forehead where Kaveri had managed to hit him- "yah.. And I think I'll enjoy meself some women too... after all the old hag didn't say we can't play before killing right?" thug2 ogled Kaveri the way it makes one puke.
Both thugs looked sinister but the twins looked happy, they were actually smiling.
Sam-"well your little speech settled one thing. Rin, kaveri-sid and I are both really sorry for doubting you and we-"
Kaveri -"shut up!! This is not the time!!"
All 4 looked at each other for the briefest second and nodded. Sam and Sid moved in front to cover Kaveri and Rin. While the women got ready to defend their husband in case the thugs foul played. Plus they had to get to nick as soon as possible.

Nick- "if you believe I am not safe here, then maybe you should also know that I didn't trip. I was pushed down the stairs and I have to warn every1-"
Nan- "WHAT!!!???? wh? ..Who? ..Did you see who pushed u? .. Oh this is baddd"
n- "Yes I did and that's what I have to tell ever1 that it was-"
Nancy again clamped her hand on his mouth. There was no mistaking it. She clearly heard the fake nurse footsteps coming... it was too late now
Nan(whispering)-"look nick.some1 is coming to kill u, pretend to sleep and perhaps by surprise we can save u.. I'll try calling for help and hide there. Be calm."
Quickly without waiting hear if nick followed her advice or not, Nancy retreated behind the window curtains, just as a woman entered the room. It was the same person and her voice was even more familiar and Nancy silently gasped when she heard her talk to nick. Oh my god how can SHE do THIS and the readied her stick to attack. This is do or die.
Woman voice- hi nick. You awake darling?
Although Nancy had advised him to pretend sleep, nick couldn't control his degusted expression and knew therefore couldn't pretend anything-"I am definitely anything but your darling"
Woman- "oh c'mon you don't have to be that angry. You know how I never liked your lawyer friend and therefore I came to hate you too. Simple. Though it was fun while it lasted... and now I am gonna end this nicely for u."
Nancy heard shuffling feet and clank of instruments, when nick grunted perhaps from movement the voice crooned-"oh no.. Now don't do that baby. You are gonna hurt yourself and possibly can't stop me from administering this injection in your IV feed." Nancy heard nick thrashing desperately but he couldn't reach her, Nancy tightened her grip and listened carefully, she would locate the voice as accurately as possible and then attack, when the witch spoke again.
Woman sweetly-"consider this as a farewell gift from your love"
And Nancy charged screaming.

Sujal tried to calm down as he felt the motion of car speeding towards the destination.. It will take him an hour and he berated himself for not thinking about this earlier. He just can't be too late. What would be left then if something happened to Kashish? For sure nick was his best friend, crime brother, but.... Sujal still saw the image of Kashish lounging sedately on the bar when he had mistaken her for a party crasher. He had been under her spell since then no perhaps earlier...maybe when he and nick had that fight and she had-
NICK!!
Sujal shook his head. How can I be so selfish. Here I am worried for a girl well capable of taking care of herself, whereas the man coz of him he had a family was fighting for his life.
Sujal's mobile rang, it was the people from institute, Nancy had called for help, they wanted to know if Sujal wanted to come to.
Sujal desperately shook his head, this was such a mess, he didn't know who to go to first and on top of that whether he would be of any help or not.
Too much confused him... yet something else worried him. Nancy had spoken of a young woman coming to kill nick. Kaveri and Rin were in same hospital but it just seemed unlikely that they would do so, no matter what the evidence. It just didn't fit. And since it didn't it meant he had left out an imp peace of puzzle. Uncle, Sam- Kaveri, sid-rin, nick-sanskriti, me and then kashish.every1 was here. Except..
"SANSKIRITI that B*****". Sujal screamed suddenly and felt the car sweared dangerously for a moment the driver told him to shut the hell up and Sujal ignored everything as his thoughts raced.
Yes..That's it!! I had thought it weird too b4 when she had just left.. Why didn't I see it then?!! Of course it's her. But why??
Sujal remembered all the time when he had small tiffs, just little differences of opinion with nick, ever since he got engaged to that minx.
It was all her doing, the misunderstandings.. The coffee..The inside info of who is allergic to what.(she had said she didn't want to cook anything which might react with any1)..But why? WHY??!!
Suddenly Sujal remembered something else. Why he had actually never liked her. She had seemed familiar and now he remembered....
He had refused to fight a case when he had been young. The accused man had been guilty, but he pitied the guy's wife and daughter and told them that case was beyond his ability and nothing of the man's guiltiness, infact he had painted the accused man as a Jesus Christ being crucified(a mistake he never repeated again). But nothing worked out, the family forced man to plead innocent as they believed my version rather than the proofs. The guy committed suicide finally cowering beneath the guilt of crime and the faith of his family. The wife going mad with grief jumped off a cliff and the daughter had come cursing me after the 2 funerals. Telling me she would have her revenge, by taking away everything dear to me, by killing each and every lawyer she would ever come across.
Now that girl was all grown to fulfill her cursed promise... this girl was Sanskriti...

Ashoke-"sir please u have to believe me, my family is in danger!!! You have to help me!!!"
Police sup.-"help you Mr. Sinha? Well not that I have any probs with your releasing all the criminals we had hard time catching.. It's just, we need proof to send armed men with u... you know proofs which are use for conviction in courts.. Something of same type."
Ashoke Sinha shook his head he was desperate and he knew why the police won't help him... fat, greedy, bribe hogging pigs!!!! She had them eating right out of her hands, just like at the time of his wife's death!!!!!

"Yes!!! You are the most valuable one. The only one I love now, and you are so intelligent too! This is so nice. Now we will have so much fun together."
Kashish emptied the glass contents and placed it on the table settling back she looked openly at the woman.
k- "Why did you mutilate my dear mother's dead body?"
Kashish watched with fear and yet satisfaction as the kind, gentle angel sputtered fumed and let the mask slip to show the devil for a moment..
"Dear mother?!!" The old lady spat out the words in revulsion, hatred so black sparked in her eyes. "He didn't tell you anything after all! Did he?!! That coward!!!!"
The old lady spewed out more hatful words for k's parents as Kashish sat tensed. It was dangerous to spurn an angry psycho.
"Why don't you tell me?"
"Tell u! Of course I will! Some1 has to tell you the truth and not the garbled version which they have been feeding every1!! I'll tell you the truth and you tell me if I did anything wrong."
Kashish nodded her head in acknowledgement and settled back comfortably, it was difficult to think of escape plans otherwise. The old women looked uncomfortable, but seeing Kashish's relaxed movement, she slipped back to being an angel and began her tale.......
" My parents adored my sis and ignored me. No it's not my biased judgment or disillusionment, it's true. I don't know why.. Even my sis didn't know why. But she liked it that way, she loved making me look bad and being their eye's apple. You know we were twins... no not identical but still, twins we were... just like your brothers.. Oh I should tell u.. They will die while we have this conversation"
Kashish came out of the shock and nearly attacked the woman when she heard of her brothers.. No she had to be calm, her brothers weren't dead as yet and woman had no knowing for sure.. Still her aunt!!!
"Please continue... I don't think I care what happens to my brothers.. They always teased me way too much."
The lady smiled at k's words, apparently Kashish seemed to be saying what she really had wanted to hear, "well as much I had started to hate my sis and detest my parents, I never said anything. I never crossed them. Never argued back. Did everything they told me to. I was every1's slave and yet I never protested. I lived with hope of getting away."
The lady looked sad , pitiable but then she smiled sweetly, "it was when she was doing a 6 month course away from home. I met him...... seems so dramatic huh? But that is what the truth is.... I was afraid at first to even talk to him. But he pursued, said he wanted to be just friends. Wouldn't let me have peace, always said he wanted my approval for something. What could have I done? You tell me!! He was so nice and charming. I started talking to him, he changed my world, I would laugh, I would be happy when I was with him, he started coming to our house too. My parents also liked him. He never said we were more than just friends, but we were... oh!! We were so much more!!! I would often catch him looking at me, thinking, he always became sad when I asked him about it."
"When one day I told him that I thought of him more than just a friend, he was very happy. He said it was just the right time to talk to my parents and I had accepted him in just the nick of time. He was soo happy that day and I was too coz he was."
Kashish was waiting for the love triangle to come for this romance to end and it happened. The face which had been shining with happiness of love, now, contorted and became ugly with hate and jealousy
"And then she came. My sis came back next day. The day he was supposed to talk t my parents. One look at her coming down the stairs while he was sitting in front of my parents and he forgot me. How could he forget me like that in an instant???!!!! How can he??!! Said he had met my sis before and really liked her now. Wanted to marry her now. My parents who had already started liking him said yes. Why wouldn't they?!! They always wanted the best for her and worst for me. He was good. Even if I was his first choice, they all chose her. They..."
Kashish looked uncomfortable to see an old woman crying in front of her. Kashish didn't know what to believe now.. May be her grandparents were biased..But her mother wouldn't do heartless thing to any1, least to her sis right? She wouldn't steal her sis's love right? Kashish looked even more apprehensive.. Something had to be wrong here....
"They never even bothered to ask how I felt about it.. They..They...(sobbing and crying).. They got mm.m..Married and I felt like a widow. The pain might have just killed me. But it didn't coz I was so good at bearing pain and rejection by then. I lived and became depressed. I know I was tooo depressed for my own good. So I thought it would do me good if I could atleast be friends with him right? It wasn't his fault. I forgave him.. My sis was so much more prettier than me. It was ok for him to have fallen in love with her. But she didn't want it. She would throw tantrums, insult me and do everything to take away the only friend I had. And then ultimately she did something which guaranteed his full attention. She became pregnant"
Pure acid now dripped from her voice.(thankfully noo holes were burned on the carpet at her feet). A venomous snake would look less lethal. Kashish tensed and allowed the woman to continue..
"Of course what he didn't realize that the those kid weren't his.. Hahaaaaa he was so gullible to have been fooled by her...but she knew and knew that I knew too. He became distant to me. But I waited for the day for the baby to be born when I would tell him that they weren't his and that she was a dirty ho. the day never came. She told him herself andd..aand I don't know what else. She turned him against me. He said I was responsible for it. He said I had send thugs!! LIES!! All lies! I didn't!! I had just asked her old boyfriend to come and seduce her. It was her fault that she fell. But she blamed it on me. They put me in an asylum, declared me mad!!!! Do I look mad to u? Do I act like a mad woman? Could a mentally unstable person manage to destroy your family? NO, so you see I am not mad, never was. It was her plot and he felt inadequate so he went along with it. My only mistake in my whole life was that I fell in love with a spineless slug"
Taking a calming breath the lady wiped her tears and straightened her clothes, she smiled apologetically at Kashish for getting so carried away in her story.. But more was left
"I managed to get out of that hell after 5 yrs... they had 3 children now. I vowed they wouldn't have more. I thought I was over him after all that had happened but I still loved him.. No I didn't love him actually, I just wanted him. Yes that was it. I wanted what should have been mine. All my life every1 took what they wanted from me and the time had come to take back what I wanted. So I came up with a few plans. I acted stupid and started working as their servant."
Kashish gasped at the devious woman's tale.." oh! Don't look surprised! They never gave me maid's pay or called me a servant,, but they let me do all the servant chorus. I waited too, silently, for a day when I could make my strike..... You know we never looked much alike when we were kids but as we grew up our looks changed and we looked similar. Almost an year had passed. They trusted me now and I had started to create small fights. I used my sis tricks against her now. Earlier if something was ever missing she used to blame me. But now I would steal and put blame on her. I was slowly getting my revenge and it was completed when one night I fooled your dad into thinking I was my sis, oh he was drunk and drugged by me.. So what . I had what I wanted. I had u!!!"
Kashish claimed her mouth shut, she could not throw up and pass out here.
Yes, she was having doubts about her parent's strange behavior and wondering how unfair this lady's life had been. She had actually started to sympathize, but now she clammed up. Shut her brain. Isn't that what she had done to escape Piyush's horror deeds? Yes she would do it again. Now Kashish just looked blankly the lady not hearing words but just sounds, her mind recounting and detailing all the fights she had with her brothers and Sujal.
The lady looked disheartened.. She had expected more of a reaction and not numb indifference NO!!!! Wait!! Perhaps she already suspected!!!
Laughing again the woman continued in her sweet, venomous voice, "I was so happy!! You can't believe what wonderful plans I had for both of us. I was going to go away , far away from all these ppl . It was just going to be you and me. But alas I knew that even god hated me. Somehow that bi*** sis of mine got to know about you and stopped me. Send me to asylum again!!! Took you away from me!!She told me to go Die when she had snatched you from my arms. It was that day!! That moment I had decide to destroy every1 who was related to her by blood!!!! From her parents to her grandkids.. No I won't do anything to your dad, he does have her evil seeds. But I will make him suffer. I will make him see everything he cares for fall apart in front of his eyes- his family , his wife, his kids, his friends, his business his beloved legal firm.. I will destroy all!!!! Right child?"
The lady now got up from her chair shaking from anxiety, "tell me now was I right child? Did I do anything wrong? Did I do something bad, wrong? I rid the world of her evil blood. I will go to heaven. Right child?" the old woman extended her hand towards Kashish asking.. Pleading for acceptance.
Kashish too got up from her chair unsteadily, she had stopped listening by the end, but she had listened enough to know who that the woman in front of her did not deserve such a harsh life... I have to give her my ans now. if I accept her then I am part of this massacre, if I reject her then maybe I die too...shaking with indecision Kashish moved towards the woman who beckoned her with a kind, smiling face.
"Come to me child, accept me we belong together. I am right am I not? You hate them all too now right?"
Kashish paused only for a second, then ran towards the woman whose open arms hugged her....
