Part-18
Milind was however was shocked hearing that PRachi's father was none other than Inder Shah, that Inder Shah with whom he had his rivalry in the business. He was once vowed to beat him in the race of the business. But he was totally unaware of the fact that the girl whom he loved was his daughter. At first he thought of forgetting about his relationship, but the fact is he could no longer live without Prachi. She was now his part of his life and could loose her just that he had enimity with her father. Moreover he had promised Prachi that he would at any cost marry her. Keeping his temper cool he picked up his cell and made his way to the place he would meet Prachi's father.
He kept constantly looking at his watch. "dad cool down he'll come exactly to the time mentioned. Actually we are very early to the discussed time." Inder smiled at her innocent smile. "dad promise me that you will definetly accept our relationship." "I will only promise you, after I have talked to that person." Inder took a glance over the menu card for the second time. "dad that's not fair." "everything is fair in love and war", Inder gave a wicked smile towards Prachi, thinking that the war had just started between him and Milind. "dad you are not playing any of your games now." Prachi gave a warning look towards him. She just runs from there ignoring what Inder was about to say.
"you are late, Milind", Prachi bumped into Milind, loosing her balance when her heel tips of. "what late, in fact you are too early, what's the matter sweety can't able to control your excitement. Bumping on me as usual." Prachi had turned into beetroot red, blushing. "Milind you are too much, come lets go. I'll introduce you to my father." Prachi pulled his arm, after composing herself. " we don't think an introduction." "really", "huh just kidding, come on we should go to your father now, I need to be introduced." Milind broke out into a weird laugh. Milind was right he actually need not be introduced to Inder as he met him already. He did not make PRachi suspicious with his already known identity with her father. He had made his mind to prove his self as a right husband for Prachi. Inder had seen them from the place he was sitting. But he ignored them coming towards him.
"dad! This is………………………", Inder raised his hand signaling Prachi to stop. "let him introduce himself." Milind and PRachi glanced each other's face. "I'm Milinnd Mishra……….", Milind extended his hand. "please sit down." Inder said instead of giving him a handshake, pretending as if he was going through the menu. Milind sat exactly opposite to Inder, placing Prachi between them. They both silently glanced each other, with mixed feelings towards each other. "dad so what's your opinion on Milind", PRachi could not take the silence that prevailed between them. Inder lifted his head from the menu card, looked keenly at Milind as if he was observing him. "yeah, handsome, well mannered guy, a shrewed business man from his features, sole heir to the Mishra empire of billions." "dad you know about him soo much than I do." Prachi exclaimed with an excitement in her face. "to be the owner of his empire in the future", he continued ignoring Prachi's excitement. Milind just glared him thinking that Inder might have gathered information about him from a source. He knew what Inder would ask him next, next would be about his sister's elopement and her share in the property. "so I heard your sister's parents had accepted her and her husband." "Yeah", Miind replied trying not to extend in a long sentence and controlling his temper. "dad it doesn't matter…." Inder again raises his hand stopping Prachi from speaking further. "so…………….what about her share in the property.. I think you can understand, if we clear all this matters now they won't be any misunderstanding in future you understood." "yeah I understood…even though my sister gets her property there will be no problem as my father already invested a lot in London before he died." "I heard it is in your chahaji's handover." "it was but I posses everything that my father invested and moreover my chachaji also handovered me more than I own. I'm like his own son." "like a own son but not a own son. You know what I mean there's a difference." Prachi was becoming furious hearing her father's talk with Milind. She did not really like the way her father was talking to Milind. Everytime she tried to interrupt them, but was prevented by Inder. Time was flewing but their talks were going deeply into the business deals which is did not like that. She had expected a lot from this meeting, but nothing was going according to her expectations. She thought a relationship would bring them together but now the relationship that was going to form was in a negative way.
"I'm not still convinced. You know what do you mean. Even you have a vast property there but why do you want the business here also." "I think you remember what I said that day. I think so for expanding the business", "for your chachaji" Inder cut him in the middle. "now dad this is going too far. We came here to talk about our marriage." Prachi interrupted in the middle. Inder just glares at Prachi who was fuming at him. "ahhh I really forget about that. So after your marriage with my daughter how much of my property do you want. Come on Milind there is no need of thinking you can ask anything it's up to you", Milind first hesistated, but he knew it was his time to play the game, truthfully, for what he came. "so you will give me anything I asked you. The game is getting more interested. Well anything I ask." "yeah, go on I promised." "your most valuable property you own." Milind placed a deal. Inder feared that whether Milind was referring to his business. "your valuable property." Milind repeated again. "your valuable property your daughter." "if I say other than my daughter." Prachi who was witnessing this feared as their were crossing the limits. "no, no…"Milind laughed loudly. "you won't say that. Becoz you are concerned about your daughter's happiness. And that happiness is connected with me." Inder gazed at him with his expressionless face. "so, Mr.Shah are you ready to give your daughter's hand to me in marriage. I promise you that she'll be happy." Milind catches Prachi's hand in his with a smirk on his face. "Mr. Shah I'm really waiting for your answer. What say. Do I take your silence as your acceptance for a relationship." Milind starts of seeing Inder's silence. Prachi on other side who was fuming on her father's way of dealing with Milind started to become excited hearing Milind's way of convincing her father. "so Mr.Shah, on which date you prefer to get us both married", Milind continued seeing Inder sitting silently. He thought he was winning this game, but thought of giving a chance to Inder. "without my acceptance I think it is impossible for you'll to get married." Inder's face glowed up with a bright smile. It was his chance to play the game, he thought. He let out a silent laugh thinking that Milind had made himself a fool. "so what will you'll do if I won't accept for your marriage." He paused a while. "elope" Prachi's eyes widened with astonishment. "I think a gentleman like you will never take that step. I'm I right Mr. Milind Mishra." "it's enough means enough dad." Prachi interrupted, who could not tak it anymore. "you promised me that.." "I never promised you anything. Shut up and come with me, or else I should drag you out from here, which I don't like. How did you think that I'm going to give to the person who just know snatching things from others…" "dad you are……….it's a lie." "what lie, huh… did he snatch his cousin's property, did he snatched your dad's business. You don't know Prachi he is playing games in the name of love." "dad enough is enough. You are insulting him. And for kind information he didn't snatch anything from anyone. Concerning about the business and love…..he till now doesn't know that you are my father." Inder stared at Prachi angrily. "wow supporting him from now onwards. What will you do after your marriage with him. Support him , when he is snatching my business from me. Right." Inder's voiced echoed in every corner of the restaurant. He constantly pulls and drags Prachi from there. But Milind sat there like a defeated soldier, helpless of what happened a few minutes back. He thought that everything was over, but his heart and soul was not accepting that giving him a ray of hope, which still laid beneath his heart. He thought that his true love for Prachi, would give a way for this problem. He staggered out thinking how to find a solution for this problem.
