Wow Sam,
Your ridz is really a stunner ⭐️. I've been admiring her stole collection for some parts now 😆(probably cause I have a weakness for stoles/scarves/shawls of any kind 😉)?black and rust (stunning combo that 👏, I have one with the same colour scheme) and now aquamarine. Love her cloths-sense 😳. But really, hats off to her (and you, if you can do the same) for pulling off wearing stilettos while dancing 😕. I myself happen to be one of those creatures who can trip on a perfectly smooth surface while wearing flats and indeed manage an average of a sprain/fall/bruise a week 😭. And forget graceful, klutz is far more appropriate a description for me. So I've always been in awe of higher beings of balance like you 😆.
Armaan and ridz have really gotten close haven't they? And that too without any romantic overtones, it makes the bonds so much stronger when you actually know and like the person though of course attraction is an equally crucial element. Armaan is staring to get really protective about ridz which is wonderful. What's more, his musings on the Riddhima-Rahul relationship was so cute.
Loved the girl-talk b/w Muskaan and ridz. Now that is one girl you just can't keep down!!! 😉 "Movie-star line" 🤣 And the way she just dismissed Angie from the equation was just hilarious 😆. Speaking of which, it's nice to see Angie making an effort though I wonder how long it'll last seeing Armaan-Riddhima look the perfect couple. Ankit too looks to be in a juvenile mood tonight. Armaan of course already has something cooking in his wicked brain?so let the games begin people!!!! 😈
I could never understand the fascination for e-books either 🤢. It takes all the pleasure out of reading in my opinion. You should be able to go back and forth to your fav pages, dog ear the ones you love, feel the creases on the cover of a much-loved companion?Besides one of the fundamental pleasures associated with reading is the fun of rummaging and bargain-hunting in flea-markets and second-had bookstalls in search of lost treasures; an e-reader can never equal the bliss of that particular experience. But I guess they are a convenient way of getting your hands on out of print works.
Speaking of the perfect guy (and even if we weren't 😆), I've always preferred a rebel to a goody-goody Knight, think Satan in Paradise Lost. I've just read extracts, but there are some magnificent scenes, especially one where he tells his followers "better to reign in hell than serve in heaven?" Milton's Satan has always been something of a tragic hero, rather like Karan in the Mahabharata (another magnificent piece of literature btw). Did you know that before his fall Lucifer was considered the most beautiful of god's angels and his favourite? Which is why there is this line in Paradise Lost that goes "Lucifer son of morning how art thou fallen?" My mom always tells me that you always get the feeling that Milton was secretly sympathetic towards Satan. And you can't help being so, reading it you get this image of someone who was willing to challenge heaven and all it's power to make his dreams come true and even at the end, has the guts to fling up his head defiantly and say you can break me if you want, but you'll never see me bow down to you". It's like through Satan Milton expresses humanity's war-cry to the fates, that we may be weak, mortal and gone tomorrow?but we'll still defy you. I think Milton himself realised that Satan was turning into the real hero, even if a tragic one, of the work so in Paradise Regained he reduces him to a peeping tom, with none of the earlier grandeur 🤢, but I swear, anyone who's read extracts of the 1st would now exactly where his sympathy lay. Like my mom says, Milton might have been a devout Christian, but he was first of all a poet and no true writer can ever deliberately destroy a character like that.
Vulnerability-and-strength, a sense of humour, a bit of arrogance?sounds about right, but add compassion and integrity to the mix as well. What else?physically, height of course is extremely important and I always had a thing for men with glasses (again the whole vulnerability thing I guess)?btw I see you have a thing for sexy baritones same as me. Brosnan, god now there's one sexy guy! 😍And he just keeps getting better with age?I love that Irish accent?or is it Scottish? No, I think it's Irish?I know Sean Connery is a Scot. But Scottish or Irish, both accents are equally sexy. And Connery's voice gives me the shivers ☺️. I swear the guy can make reading the telephone directory sound sexy 😉.
Hmm?I had forgotten the similarity to Indian mythology. But I find myths fascinating and it's truly amazing how folklore from such far flung cultures can be so similar to each other. The details may vary but the core remains the same, it's especially true in the case of what we call "origin myths". The great flood for example is such a popular motif that some scholars have actually postulated that it could have had an actual basis in fact. But personally I prefer to take it less literally to indicate the common roots of all humanity, something which we seen to be in danger of forgetting in today's world .
Enjoy your vacation, I really envy you 😊. Europe is one place I would love to visit, especially Spain. It must be that unique mix of European and Moorish elements that lead to the creation of such a wonderfully vibrant culture 😍. We have forgotten how much we actually owe the Arab world. A bientt! Je vous manqu 😳.
