Wow loved it Vini! and aww poor Atul I really feel for him, when are you bringing Anji in.

Grr not liking Maria stupid Ridz very stupid! But loved the whole shopping scene, especially Muski could picture her rambling about the dresses!

Part 28

The next day at around 5 Pm

"Riddhima are you done?? i need help ... stupid thing isnt getting tied up. " Muskaan whined. Muskaan had worn a gorgeous honey coloured soft gown. Her hair was down in wavy long curls which melted on hr shoulder like waves rushing along a beach. The honey colour gently turned darker diagonally... it seemed like a shadow rather than a colour change. There were beautiful designs following at the foot of her dress which dropped below her knees. The designs were so light which added to the elegance of the dress.. They grew lighter as they reached higher till the vanished.. giving a pleasant effect on the dress.

Muskaan twirled around.. letting the skirt fly till it once more fell back in place. Riddhima had managed to find the dress. And since you knew muskaan's taste better than any one else. She was sure this would be the best for her. She bent down to ribbon up her 3 inch semi-platform heels. Under doctors supervision.. she was only allowed to wear platform heels. After spinning back and forth... Muskaan finally tapped her foot impatiently.

" Riddhima?? "

" Alright alright im coming... im coming " Riddhima yelled coming out from inside the bathroom. riddhima stepped out.." Well what do you think? "

Riddhima wore the light blue delicate dress that Armaan had chosen for her...Though the colour was light. it was strong as well... radiating elegance from her body. the neck was not too deep, rather just perfect.. comfortable yet sizzling. The material of the dress wasn't too slippery nor was it cotton and rough.... just in the middle. The gown hugged her waist and the rest of the dress flowed perfectly below.. not suddenly making her look fat .. rather delicately... Revealing the true shape of her body. At the back the dress crossed itself and a silver thin ribbon tied the dress behind perfectly. The gown was slightly longer than muskaans. Riddhima had worn silver pencil heels and a thin silver earings that fell classily from her ear.

" Oh my god.. you look stunning !! we need to take sooo many pics !! " Muskaan said hugging her... " and wow what have you done with your hair?? it looks really nice "

" oh.. nothing much.. just clipped it a bit to the side and let these tendrils fall down.... but you look gorgeous muskaan.... wow.. "

" really?? thank you... " She said spinnign around again.

" its my choice after all... " Riddhima grinned.." oh that reminds me... are you done with the packing?? How big is your bag?? "

" not that big... I took 1 more dress and a couple of tops and jeans for the other day.. and i packed a bit for rahul as well... "

" ok cool same here... Where are we going to stay?? At the meridian itself?? "

" yea.. Its her fathers hotel actually... If it werent for Armaan.. we wouldnt even be the few staying there."

" really?? i didnt know that... "

" thats actuall how she got into modelling... her father started with her at the hotel and then she got offers at Paris .. " just then some one knocked at the door "come in.. " Muskaan called

" hey girls... wow..." Armaan sighed looking at them dazed " two stunning girls.. alone with me in a room.. "

" very funny Armaan.... hmmm someone looks very handsom himself... " Muskaan said checking him out " and the same colour as Riddhima... hmm what do you know?? "

Armaan wore formal clothes... as per the dress code ... A dark greay formal pant with a classy light blue shirt. If one were to look really closely at the shirt you would notice light designes which added more to the effect of class.

" thank you " He said giving her a quick kiss on the cheek... Armaan tie the two designer strings on her back for muskaan before he continued.." oh and i forgt Rahul is having a hard time choosing between the red and the black shirt... i think he needs your help.. "

" oh gosh.. i told him to pick black.... " Muskaan said rushing out of the room..

Riddhima turned around hastily to face the mirror.. She grew more and more wary about herself now that armaan was in the room..

What if he doesnt think i look good enough??? Should i change?? maybe i can wear that dress i wore for muskaan's wedding... oh gosh.. what is he thinking???

Armaan could see her forehead crease as she looked at herself in the mirror... He came closer to her as he slid his hand around her waist....

" what happened?? " Armaan whispered gently into her ear...

" do i look alright?? i know im asking over and over again.. but seriously? " Riddhima asked nervously... Armaan let out a sigh as he smiled against her neck. She could feel his breath so warm against her ... It sent cold tingles down her body...

Armaan pulled back... "hmmm... " Riddhima looked worried as he judged her..carefully

He slowly pulled the clip out of her hair letting her silky straight hair flow down... " I love it when ur hair falls down like this... and i think you know that... "

Riddhima smiled nervously.. Somehow when her hair was down she felt some sort of boldness rush within her...

" how can you even have a doubt? do you know what your doing to me when you look as stunning as this? " he lightly let his lips brush against her neck " im afraid im going to have a hard time being faithful to Maria tonight.. " Riddhima felt herself giggle at Armaans comment..

" oh and i forgot... " Armaan placed both his hands over her neck as he seperated them.. a beautiful crystal diamond necklace fell across her neck.

" oh my gos.. Armaan... i- i cant.. "

" whats that suppose to mean you cant? "

" Armaan come on.. you didnt have to... "

" your right... i didnt have to... but i wanted to... " He laughed as he turned her around to face him.

Riddhima could feel tiny sparks of tears in her eyes... Not because of the diamond... it was materialistic to her... and materialistic things meant absolutely nothing to her... It was his gift.. the love he gave her... it was that... what really mattered to her..

" I love you Armaan... " She whispered

" I love you too..baby"

2 hours Later At the Meridian

" Wow... she really knows how to throw a party... " Muskaan sad as she saw the enterance.. there was a board at the side announching the heiresses Birthday.

Riddhima and Muskaan stood waiting for the boys to come out .. Rahul threw his keys to the .

Rahul took Muskaan by the waist while Riddhima and Armaan just walked beside one another . As they reached the receptionist suddenly an excited Maria came towards them... She was wearing a kneww lenght elegant black and silver halter neck dress

" oh my god... so glad you guys could make it... " She said jumping onto them...

" awww happy birthday " Riddhima and muskaan said..

" thank you... you didnt have to get me anything.. " she said sincerly as she took the gift from them. " ok one second... Excuse me.. yea take these to there rooms.. three room? yea.. ok" she said to the receptionist

" ok you guys come with me... the party is at the back of the hotel... " She said as she slid her hand through Armaans

As they walked forward they saw a man and his wife standing at the enterance

" oh daddy... I want you to meet Rahul and Muskaan Grewal.. They stay here itself at Palm Avenue and Riddhima here stays in dubai curently.. " She paused for a while and then continued " oh and i told you about Armaan Malik ... my friend from Dubai?? "

" Nice to meet you all.. I am Mark D'souza and this s my wife Helena.. im glad that you coul join us.. " He said giving hem a brief hug... His stare was constant on Armaan... " ah yes armaan.. our daughter has told us a lot about you... nice to finally meet you.. I must say your business strategies are remarkable.."

" thank you sir.. and its .. a team effort.. " He added

" ahh.. ofcourse these days where can we go without our men?? i would be nothing without these staff members either.. " He said with a hearty laugh...

"And congratulations my dear " Mrs D'souza told the grewals..

"oh thank you Mrs Dsouza.. " Muskaan said... Obvious that she was congratulating them on the pregnancy.

" oh no no.. call me helena .. " She added gently .. It was easy to see where Maria got the accent from... Her mother had a similar french accent like her daughter.It was her fater who had a more American one." well then you guys have fun.. and ask us if you ned anything.. you are the few of them who will be staying here right? " They nodded thier heads and soon after Maria took them to where the real party was..

As planned it was a very classy and elegant party...Much to Maria's taste. There were loads of people around.. and maria was constantly introducing them to people . Her hands were ofcourse saftely secure within Armaans Arms. Riddhima hardly got to even talk to Armaan.. and Armaan seemed even more determined to be with Riddhima...

" ok ill be right back... one second... Hey Armaan can you come with me.. ?" Maria said taking Armaan to another set of people... He was her date after all... so he had to be polite enought to accompany her

There was a group of people dancing at the centre. " Muskaan? will you dance with me?? " Rahul said Taking a rose in his mouth and asking her for her hand.

Muskaan bit her lip as she glanced at Riddhima... " oh no... muskaan go ahead.. enjoy your self... ill be fine dont worry... " riddhima smiled reassuringly..

" really?? "

" positive..."

She sat down among some chairs as she looked around... Her eyes wandered for Armaan... Finally se spotted him.. He was dancing with Maria.. maria was talking animatedl with him while he was nodding but his eyes for fixed onto riddhima... Riddhima smiled pleasantly... Trying not to indicate any sort of boredom or loneliness...

" Excuse me miss.... ? " some one tapped her shoulders..

" yea?? " Riddhima asked suddenly turning to face him...

" hi.. im deboshish... could i have this dance with you please? " He asked almost too politely..Riddhima glanced back at Armaan... His face frowned at first.. Her own face looked nervous again... Then Armaan gae up and nodded his head in acceptance..
His expression was bursting the words 'Alright fine.. one dance'

riddhima placed her hands in his and got up... " alright.. one dance.. " A smile lit up on that innocent guys face as he led her to the dance floor

Luckily the music was fast enough for them to dance without any physical contact although occassionally he would spin her around. Riddhima was actually enjoying herself.. He was pleasant and sweet.

"you never told me your name?? " He asked politely over the music

" im Riddhima.. riddhima Gupta.. " She smiled back

" oh ok.. and what do you do? "

" im a doctor... and you? "

" oh im into a software engeneer.. "

" thats nice... i have a cousin working at microsoft... '

" really?? i work there... which branch?? "

" umm.. im not sure aout the branch... but she's in california... " Riddhima replied

" oh ok... well i stay here itself... " Sudenly the music changed.... to a much more slower one.. much more romantic one..

As the couples around them got closer to one another.. Riddhima and Deboshish both hesitated... She didnt really want to get so close to him.. and judging from her expressions and hesitation.. he didnt really think she was ready for the change

Just as she was about to take his hand.... She felt someone else contain it into thier own...

Armaan..

" i think il take it from here" Armaan told Deboshish

" thank you deboshish for the dance... " Riddhima said politely..

" no problem... hope to see you again... " he smiled as he kissed her other hand..

As soon as he let go.. riddhima stared at Armaan.. His expression was one of amusement... Riddhima gave him a i-didnt-ask-him-to-do-that look...

Armaan pulled her closer as he tucked her hands on his shoulder and wraped his hands around her waist.

" He's a bit too young for you isnt he?? " Armaan grinned

" oh gosh not again !! " Riddhima whined remembering the other time when Armaan silently accused her of child molestation with Josh... the first day they met...

" younger boys have a thing for you... looks like i have competition" He grinned as he kissed her cheek

" Armaan shut up !! and arent you supposed to be with Maria?? "she asked looking around for her

Armaan turned her to face only him.. " she had to go do some stuff.. dont worry... besides this is our song.. just you and me ! besides i couldnt let someone touch you like this.. " Armaan grinned as he held her even closer

Ok hey guys hope you liked that...dont forget to TELL me what u thought bout it !!! ok one more thing... As some of you told me before to tell you all when im gonna end this ff... well... ok its gonna end in a couple of parts... Since well the story is coming to and end...
