hi guys im finally back with the next update. it has been long i know but i really couldnt come around writing it but here it is and i hope u all enjoy it.

Part 22

Need the truth

After Sia had found out from Bhoomi about Dharam being involved in the wedding she had to find out the truth. She returned back to her room and immediately wrote a letter to Pari as she would be restless until she knew.

Next day

Sia was anxious when she received Pari's letter and she went outside in the grounds to read it privately without any disturbance.

"hame jab tumhaara sandesh mila Sia tab ham thore hairaan to rahe the lekin phir hame laga ke ab tumhe hame bata dena chaheeye. Yeh sach hai ke Maharaj Dharam bhi Agni or Bhoomi ki shaadi me the. As she finished reading she was graced with an unwanted presence.

Agni: Rajkumari Sia! (he stood there overlooking her) maaf kijyega agar me aapke kaam me baadha daal raha hu to

Sia: (disappointed) ab tumne daal hee diya hai to kya karsakte hai. (fake smile and looks towards him) per ab tumhe jo kehna hai kehsakte ho kyu ke hamara kaam pura hogaya

Agni: wese me kabhi nahi chahta tha ke aap ko aise naraaz karu. Ham to acche dost the na?

Sia: ha. Hum acche dost the

Agni: to phir kya aap mere saath kuch dair ke liye baag me tehlegee?

She doesn't want to agree but she had to do this politically so she agreed and began walking with him around the grounds.

Agni: pichle mahine kaafi kuch hogaya. Wese mujhe bari hairnaani huwi thi Maharaj Dharam ko bhi os mele me dekhte huwe. Wo to kabhi nahi jaate the to me sochta hu ke akhir kya waje huwee hogi onhe waha jaane kee. Meree or onki mulaqaat to kabhi nahi huwi per maine onhe kahi baar dekha

Agni is a bit surprised after hearing that and gives her an alarmed look and then Sia laughs.

Sia: onki or Rajkumari Antara kee (she just loved to see Agni's colour drain from his face)

They continued walking further

They had finished the circle around the grounds and had reached near the mahal again

Agni: kya aap Nain Goa ke aashram bhi gayi thi?

Sia: (stops to think about that place as it sounds unfamiliar) hame wo jage to pata…

(Agni was loss of words and he couldn't see her eye to eye as he realized that she knew a lot about him that he didn't want to be revealed.) ab chalo choro yeh sab. After saying that she left to go back inside the mahal and Agni followed.

That evening Agni and Bhoomi left Sumaina finally for good and Nivriti as usual was all hysterical about Bhoomi leaving and all. Bhoomi was really excited and couldn't wait to leave. The maharaj and Sia were relieved after they left.

Days passed and life went on as it did. Sia surprisingly kept thinking about Dharam and what he did for her family and just couldn't figure him out anymore. She didn't know what to make out of him. Then there was her sister Ananya who also spent days wondering about Veer and when will he meet her again.

One evening they sat in Ananya's room.

Ananya's room

Ananya: tumhe kya lagta hai Sia ke Rajkumar Veer waapis laut ke kyu aaye?

Sia: ab wo waapis Aryanagar laut ke aagaye hai to hame to aisa lagta hai ke onhe kisee kee yaad kichke laayee hai

Ananya: sahi me (became dreamy)

Sia: (saw she was lost and decided to tease her) ha wo zaroor Maharaj Dharam kee yaad khichke laayee hogi

Ananya: (snaps out and realizes Sia is teasing her) ha wo ham to bus aise hee yu…

Sia bursts out laughing and Ananya also joins in telling her to stop teasing her and the two sisters were really happy. Both of them knew that Dharam and Veer would surely come and meet them one day again.

Nivriti had also found out that Veer had returned back to Aryanagar and she was on top of the moon. She kept insisting the maharaj to send an invitation for him but he refused saying that last time she had said that if they meet Veer then he'll choose one of his daughters but that never happened so now he doesn't want to waste his time.

Nivriti: ham jaante hai ke aap kya chahte hai Maharaj (her taunting self) yehi na ke ham sab yuhi besahara hee rahjaaye or aap ke chale jaane ke baad wo Rajkumar Harsh aake sab kuch harap le. Ham aapke iraade kabhi kaam yaab nahi hone denge maharaj.

Saying that she marched out of the room but the maharaj was less perturbed as he knew it had become her habit now to taunt him all the time.

Arayanagar

Next morning Veer searched for Dharam but he was nowhere to be found and then he found him in his room sitting on the sofa with his head leaned back. He held something in his hand and was lost in deep thought.

Veer: (teasing tone) lagta hai Aryanagar ke maharaj kuch gehree soch me hai

Dharam: (snaps out and pretends everything is normal) ha ham wo…uh wo kisee masle ko lekar ham soch rahe the bus wo…

Veer: acha? (comes and sits beside him) mujhe bhi batao shayad me tumhaaree madad karsaku

Dharam: nahi Veer (tries to hide what he is holding) tumhe in raajniti maamlo me parne kee koi zaroorat nahi

Veer: ab Dharam mujhe bhi to yeh sab zimmedaariya lenee hee hogi na. Chalo mujhe batao (he knew Dharam was hiding something and he wanted to know what it was)

Dharam: hamne kaha na Veer (stands up hiding Sia's payal inside his robe again) tum fuzool me hamse behes kyu karahai ho

Veer saw Dharam was certainly hiding something but he also had his tactics to find out things.

Veer: (stands up next to him) theek hai mujhe mat batao. Lekin yeh to bata hee sakte ho na ke yeh (takes the payal out of his robe) kiska hai?

Dharam: Veer! (he snatched the payal back and was annoyed) yeh to hame bus…

Veer: ha ha jaanta hu tumhe to yeh bus aise hee para mila hoga na (Dharam turned away from him) jab ose itna yaad karte hee ho to phir osse milne kyu nahi jaate?

Dharam: tum kiskee baat karahe ho?

Veer: wahi (naughty grin) jiskee yeh paayal hai

Dharam: ham nahi jaante tum kya kehrahe ho. (turns towards Veer and folds his arms against his chest) tumhe hamse koi zaroori baat karnee hai to jaldi karo kyu ke hame or bhi bohat saare kaam hai

Veer: jaanta hu jaanta hu kitna zaroori kaam rehta hai maharaj ko (Dharam glares at him) uhhh mera matlab hai ke ha me jaantu hu tumhe bohat kaam hai isliye me ziada waqt nahi lunga. Me bus maharaj kee aagye lene aaya tha

Dharam: aagya? (frowns) kis baat ke liye?

Veer: wo me (hesitates) wo me soch raha tha ke ab me Aryanagar waapis aahee gaya hu to kyu na ab apne kuch puraane dosto ko bhi mil aao

Dharam: kyu nahi Veer. Zaroor jao. Isme tumhe hamse poochne nee kee kya zaroorat hai

Veer: wo isliye kyu ke ab me zimmedaar banna chahta hu. Or phir kissee ko to yaha samajhdaar rehna hee hoga na

Dharam: ham dekh rahe hai ke tum kuch ziada hee samajhdaar hote jaa rahe ho (is disappointed with him) wese tum jaa kaha rahe ho

Veer: (smiles) agar me tumhe bataunga to kya tum mere saath chalo ge?

Dharam: pehle tum hame jage ka naam to batao?

Veer: (pauses for a while to see Dharam's expressions and then speaks) me Sumaina jaane kee baat karaha hu

Dharam: (looks at him stunned) tum waha kis dost se milna jaarahe ho

Veer: wo to tumhe mere saath aane ke baad hee pata chalega (grins and puts arm around Dharam's shoulder) chalo ge?

Dharam: (is excited but he can't show it to Veer so he shrugs Veer's arm off) hamne tumse kaha na Veer ke hame Aryanagar me bohat sa kaam hai to hamare paas waqt kaha hai. Tum jaana chahte ho to jaa sakte ho

Veer: sach me tum nahi aana chahte?

Dharam: hamne kaha na tumse (slightly irritated) baar baar kyu pooch rahe ho hamse

Veer: ab itna naraaz kyu horahe ho? Theek hai, tum nahi aana chahte to mat aao. (Starts to go but pauses mid way) wese mujhe laga tha ke tum bhi ose milne ke liye kaafi bechain honge per mujhe lagta hai ke me ghalat tha. Acha to me chalta hu.

As he is leaving he can feel that Dharam is feeling restless and he would follow him any moment so he walked slowly.

Dharam also kept thinking about what to do but he would be lying if he would say he wasn't dying to meet Sia again and now he got the oppurtunity and he was letting it slip. He followed Veer.

Dharam: Veer! Are Veer…Veer ruko…Veer…

Veer was expecting this and on purpose he didn't stop as he just loved this. Before leaving he informed Sakshi that their plan worked and now Dharam was going with him.

Sumaina

Near the evening everyone was in the hall when an eccentric Sawri came running in.

Sawri: Maa! Maa! Aap yakeen nahi karengee ke kya huwa hai

Nivi: (irritated) are kya huwa hai, tum is tarha haap kyu rahee ho

Sawri: Maa ham abhi abhi bahaar se aayee hai (really excited) or aap jaantee hai ke yaha koun aaraha hai?

Nivi: koun?

Sawri: (eyes lit up) Rajkumar Veer!

Nivi: kya! (stands up with alarm, happiness clearly seen in her eyes) sach me Rajkumar Veer aarahe hai?

Sawri: ji Maa ham khud apni aakhonse dekh ker aarahe hai

Nivriti began dancing around with joy and Ananya and Sia gave each other surprised looks. Ananya was feeling quite nervous but Sia held onto her hand to calm her down. Nivriti kept fussing and ushering everyone around to get everything ready as Veer was coming.

Nivi: Jao Ananya jaldi jaake apne kapre badal lo (Ananya gets up but Nivi prevents her) nahi yahi per betho kyu ke wo kisee bhi waqt pohochte hee honge. Akhir wo din aahee gaya or wo yaha aahee gaye. (is feeling on top of the world) maharaj ham kehte the na ke wo zaroor aaenge. Dekha! (she continues fussing around and makes sure everything is tip top)

Sawri goes by the window in the hall and she can see Veer approaching.

Sawri: Dekhye Maa wo pohoch gaye

Ananya's heart was racing now as it had been a long time since she had met him and she didn't know how she would react. Sia still held onto her hand as she knew exactly what she was going through.

Sawri: Onke saath koi or bhi hai

Nivi: ab wo Aryanagar ke rajkumar hai to wo akele thori na aayenge.

Sawri: onke saath sirf ek hee hai. Wo…(looks carefully) wo Maharaj Dharam bhi saath hai

Both Ananya and Sia eye each other again with mixed feelings. Sia was surprised that he was coming too and now both of the girls were nervous on facing the two guys.

Nivi: Maharaj Dharam? (disappointed) wo bhi saath me aaye hai. Pata nahi wo kyu Rajkumar Veer ke saath me hee chipke rehte hai (irritated and sits down) ab jo bhi ho Rajkumar Veer ke liye Sumaina ke darwaze hamesha khule hai or onke saath jo bhi ho onke liye bhi kyu ke wo onke saath aaye hai. Ham Maharaj Dharam ko dikhayenge ke Sumaina me mehmaano ka swaghat kese karte hai per ham batade ke hame os insaan kee shakal tak pasand nahi. Per ham Rajkumar Veer, ke liye onhe bhi aane denge. (goes back to Ananya) Ananya sidhee tarhase betho, aise tumhaara pura roop dikhna chaheeye. Bhagwaan ne tumhe yeh daan diya hai to ose sahi tarhase istemaal karo

Daasi: Maharaj, Maharani, Aryanagar ke Maharaj Dharam or Rajkumar Veer mahal ke andar aachuke hai

Nivriti fixed herself up and gave the final touches and then went and sat down again pretending she wasn't expecting them.

A very joyful Veer entered with a subtle Dharam who was his usual self. Eventhoguh his heart had changed it would still take some time for him to change his behaviour and personality. Everyone stood up in their honour.

S.M: Maharaj Dharam, Rajkumar Veer aapka Sumaina me swaghat hai

Veer: Ji shukriya ham wo…

Nivi: kitna arsa hogaya hame aapse mile huwe or ab aap hamse milne aaye wo hamare liye behat khushi kee baat hai. (she is really delighted and doesn't let him speak)

Meanwhile, as Nivriti is rattling on Sia eyes Dharam and he does too and they just share a meak hello by their eyes.

Nivi: hamaree baate to chaltee hee rahegee (laughs and then looks towards Dharam and makes a serious face) Aur Maharaj Dharam aapka bhi swaghat hai yaha (with a disappointed face she sits down again. With that everyone else also sit down and Veer and Dharam sit opposite Nivriti and the maharaj) hame to aisa laga tha Rajkumar Veer ke aap kabhi Aryanagar laut ke aayenge hee nahi. Aisee aisee baate chalrahee thee aapke baare me ke ham to darr hee gaye the. Hamse to sab ne kaha tha ke aap hamesha ke liye chalegaye hai per ab hame yakeen hai ke yeh sach nahi hai (grins at him with approval) kaafi kuch hogaya hai aapke jaane ke baad. Kitnee cheez badal chukki hai or ha haalee me hamaree beti Bhoomi ki bhi shaadi huwi thi. aap ne zaroor suna hoga?

Veer: ji ha maine…

Sia eyes Dharam and he also looks at her and they both share many things. Sia looks at him with appreciation as only she knows the truth and Dharam just nods giving her a, your welcome sign.

Nivi: (doesn't let Veer speak) per oske baare me sahi khabar nahi deegayee thi. Sirf Agni ke baare me bataya tha ke wo koun tha or oskee shaadi huwee Bhoomi ke saath per Bhoomi ke khandaan ke baare me bhi to batana chaheeye tha na, per nahi

Dharam stood up and turned towards the window as he wasn't too keen on hearing this information. He couldn't tolerate that he couldn't reveal the truth out as it just would be unappropraite now. He just kept looking outside whilst Nivriti continued.

Nivi: aap to Agni ko jaante hee honge or ab to wo log Rajnikot chalegaye hai. Waha per Agni ko ek acchi jage bhi milee hai or ab wo dono bohat khush hai. Bohat hee accha insaan hai wo. (nobody says anything and then Nivriti looks towards Dharam who has his back towards them) wo to accha hai ke oske paas kaafi kuch acche dost hai per kabhi kabhi kuch dost aise bhi hote hai jo kaafi mehnge parjaate hai. Jo onki dosti ke laayak nahi hote

Sia feels bad at her comments and she tries to change the topic.

Sia: (smiles towards Veer) to aap log yaha pe kuch khaas kaam ke liye aaye hai?

Veer: ji ha. (looking towards Ananya and then turns back at Sia) wese ham dono ek zarori kaam ke liye Devghar jaarahe the or socha ke beech me aap sab se mil aaye.

Sia: to kya aap ziada din rukne waale hai waha?

Veer: abhi to ham dono ne yeh faisla nahi liya (eyes Ananya again and smiles) per mujhe lagta hai ke hum kuch din to rahenge hee (keeps smiling at her and she also reciprocates his smile and feels shy) waake me kuch dino to rahengee hee take ham dono waapis yaha aasakhe

Sia gives Ananya a teasing look and she just becomes shy again. Dharam doesn't say anything and doesn't object and simply keeps staring outside.

Nivi: yeh to bohat acchee baat hai (extremely delighted) aap jab chaahe yaha Sumaina aasakte hai. Kyu Maharaj?

S.M: ha bilkul. Hame behat khushi hogi aapse baar baar milne me

Veer just smiled back feeling honoured.

Nivi: (looks towards Dharam again spitefully) or aap ke saath jo bhi aaye oska bhi Sumaina me swaghat hai kyu ke ham samajh sakte hai agar wo aapki majburi ho to

Sia just sighs as her mother will never change.

Then after having light snacks Veer and Dharam take their leave as they really were going to go to Devghar to meet Antara now. Plus Dharam had some business over there too. He wanted to speak with Sia but there were too many people around so he was prevented but he knew he would be able to speak to her later.

Ananya and Sia came to see them off outside as they sat on their horses and they waited till they were a speck in the distance.

Sia: to Ananya ab tum kya kehtee ho?

Ananya: ab jab hamaree onse mulaqaat ho hee gayi to ab hame koi darr nahi lagta Sia (smiles) ab hame onse milne me koi jhijhak nahi hoti kyu ke ab aisa lagta hai ke jese do acche dost milrahe hai

Sia: waake me (really happy) per dhyaan rahe Ananya. Phirse agar yeh mulaaqaate jaaree rahee to phir wo zaroor tumhe phirse chahne lagenge

Ananya: hosakta hai or nahi bhi

Sia: dekhte hai kya hota hai

Both of them return back with their hearts fluttering after meeting the guys. They were so happy that they just didn't know how to maintain it.

Devghar

Both Dharam and Veer reached there till the evening and just retired to their rooms to relax. Veer sat near his window thinking about Ananya and he was delighted to know she still was as beautiful as ever. After meeting her after so many months he still saw that same sparkle in her eyes, the same love she had held for him when he first met her. He was sure that she still loved him and now he couldn't wait to pour out his feelings for her but how? He sat down to write some more of his poetry as before. It had been some time since he had sat down to write but now after meeting Ananya again he got his inspiration back. He wrote down some…

Dharam: (takes hold of the scroll) waah hame to kabhi pata hee nahi chala ke hamara bhai itna accha kavi hai

Veer: (trying to get it back) Dharam mujhe wo waapis de do

Dharam: (teasing tone) kyu? Kisee khaas ke liye likha hai?

Veer: ha (irritated and snatched it back) per tumhe osse kya?

Dharam: ab itna naraaz kyu hote ho hamper. (sees he is still upset so holds his ears) chalo yeh lo kaan pakre ab to maaf kardo hame

Veer: (looks towards Dharam and gives a smile) theek hai jao maaf kiya

Dharam: (goes and sits next to him) ab hame bata bhi to do ke yeh kiske liye hai

Veer: Dharam tum jaante ho na ke maine apni zindagi me sirf ek hee larki se mohabbat ki hai. Itne din dhoore raha osse to mujhe nahi pata tha ke wo mere baare me kya sochtee hai per ab jab osse mila to aisa laga ke kuch huwa hee nahi hai or ham dono pehlee baar hee mile hai

Dharam: to iska matlab tum abhi bhi osse pyaar karte ho

Veer: (looks towards Dharam with a stern look) ha me karta hu or apni puri zindagee osse se hee mohabbat karta rahunga. Lekin ab mujhe nahi pata ke me ose kese batao

Dharam: dil ki baat kabhi bhi apne dil me hee daba ke nahi rakhnee chaheeye. Ose baahar laane me hee bhalai hoti hai

Veer: yeh tum kehrahe ho (laughs with surprise) mujhe to yakeen nahi hota ke tum mujhe dil or pyaar ke baare me bata rahe ho

Dharam: ha Veer kyu ke ab hame in sab ka matlab samajh me aaya hai (grabs Veer's shoulders) apne dil me jo bhi hai osse kehdo Veer. Isse pehle ke bohat dair hojaaye

Veer: to kya tum is rishte se khush ho? (really elated) kya mujhe tum aagya derahe ho

Dharam: tum ne pyaar karne se pehle to hamaree aagya nahi maangee thi to ab kyu maang rahe ho? Hame pura yakeen hai ke tumhaara dil koi bhi ghalat faisla nahi lega.

Veer hugs his brother out of joy and then Dharam leaves and Veer is left to dream about Ananya all night and wait for the morning to meet her once again.
