I'll give you a scenario, and you will tell me how you would write a scene on it, in two perspectives. Confused?

Okay, by two perspectives, I meant:

- Writers POV: If you, as a writer, were writing out the next scene, how would you write it?

Some people might want it the same both ways, but, some, as both writers and readers, like to add twists and cliffhangers, while as readers, they get really impatient with them 😉

Come on, don't deny it, we all know it's true, right? 😉😳

Sonia stared at the light of the monitor screen …. The whole house was asleep and she felt like her whole soul was in torment …. What was she to do? As she started at Messenger screen she waited in anticipation for him to log on….

Her whole family had decided that Raj was the one and she had met him…he was fair, handsome and charming …he had this look about him….she seen him at a couple of weddings and he was also nice friendly and he made the effort, even thou she was trying hard not too, but slowly she found herself drawn to him… and then there was Amit who lived miles apart from her who she connect to with from a social network society… there was not a day which went by when she had been so eager to get on line and talk to him…. She found herself telling him everything it was so easy…. Maybe it was the mere fact he was miles apart and not there to judge her as the computer had this sense of security as nothing could harm her virtually. As she could switch of when ever she wanted and had that control…. But now there was a knock on the door and the world through the looking glass showed parts of her future… was Raj that future?

As she clicked on new mail she typed in the name heavy heartedly as she knew what to do…

If you were in Sonia's position, what would you do?

If Sonia ran away with her "online boyfriend" and got married, believe me, it would turn out to be a nasty marriage and end up in a divorce. Why? First of all, she doesn't know this guy. Never seen him, and once she gets married to him, things will turn out very differently and she will be very disappointed because she didn't get what she expected. Plus he can barely sustain a living... She needs to think rationally. Love isn't what she sees in movies or on TV. It's FAR FAR FARRRRRRRRRR from that...

It's a better option if she marries the guy her parents chose for her, cause he'll be able to provide for her, and as time passes, they will fall in love and have an awesome marriage.

As the writer, I would try to make Sonia's character understanding and rational who truly kknows what she's gotta do and as a reader, that's what I'd like to read as well.

And if I was in Sonia's position, i would do what I would make Sonia's character do :P 😆😆

@ Sania ...love what ur saying but as a writer...i guess it would be difficult to pen with the torment of her feeling... her heart ache and her confusion of what is right or wrong...

lol, true true, he could be an oldie 😆😆😆 but even if he was the kinda guy that he made out to be, Sonia would be disappointed. He's a high school drop out (cmon.. you AT LEAST need to have a high school diploma!) he can barely support himself... hows he going to support her? And once they get married and they dont have enough money to raise a family, she's going to get sick of him, their relationship will turn sour, and thats the end of it. Oh and what I meant by she would be disappointed was that you really dont no how a person REALLY is until you marry them... so this guy could be your boyfriend but once you get married... you are disppointed because you didn't expect him to be the way he is... ok thats enough.. i've been listening to those Marriage Revolution webcasts a little too much 😆
