I think the chance of crap influences like Abhijeet's smile.. etc. was much more in Indian idol because people knowing musics had no chance to influence the decision.. Here at least judges and faculty are powerful and which proves that atleast the person going to the danger zone is going so for some musical reasons..

So, I do not understand why Indian Idol was way above.. it was purely based on Janta's whim and a colgate smile was good enough for you to win.. in FG atleast you have to sing well and perform well and you are being coninuously worked upon by music experts!!

nope som.. i wasnt fida on abhijee smile.. i became his crazy fan when i listen to his song dil kya kare.. after tht song, there was no looking back for him... n if u compare the contestants of inidan idol with fg, u will urself realise indian idol contesnats r better singers than fg ones.

all the contstant of indian idol- abhijeet sawant, rahul vaidya, prajakta shukre, amit sana, rahul saxena, aditi paul, harish moyal, mukesh pancholi, vishal kothari, amit tandon, n even ravindara ravi.. r better singers than some of the fg contstants.

rr sang aye mere waton ke logo.. the same song was sung by prajakta.. the diff is clearly seen....

n if u listen to the song by aditi paul.... lambi judaayi....

n amit's woh kisna hai....
rahul sang tht song.. ishq hai aaise aandhi. frm main hoon na.. i think the same song was sung by rex...
