I agree with you 100% (my personal opinion). JA made so big fuss when Kirti was voted out of so called politics but when same thing happened to Shamit, he didnt want to talk about it. As a judge, you should not have to partiality to contestants.

Granted, everyone including him , has a right to have his /her own favorites. But, in the chair that he is sitting in , he also has a duty to respect every contestant and refrain from endlessly targeting a single person and humiliating him.
On the eve of Shamit's painful departure from the scene, what he needed most was a few words to boost his morale and encouragement and best wishes for his future. JA used very heartless words-'You were never my favorite', 'He had to go sooner or later', 'He is not a good singer','There is no way he could have made it to the fame jodi'. Where is JA's integrity? Was I completely dreaming when he was using superlatives to praise Shamit's performances before? Didn't JA even mention once that the songs sung by Shamit were always of such a difficult standard that JA couldn't even imagine some students making it to the 'antara' o f the song?
And then , he supports Arijit'd decision whole-heartedly( I don't have a problem with that either-once someone is given a voting right,better not question his decision);but then , didn't he almost torture Shamit to death over a similar voting decision made by him against Kirti( and mind you, there were 4 other people with Shamit when he was singled out while Arijit single-handedly commited the same act)
Where is the logic/fairness/justice in all this? Forget any offers from this man, you can't even expect normal human courtesies from him. Very shameful and tragic.
AS for Shamit- I'm sure he is a fighter . I hope he even overshadows JA some day.

Guys Guys Guys, let me say this before anything: "I have got nothing against Shamit or any other gurukul student, I am just trying to refresh your memories…"

Ok now on the point that Javed Akhtar bashing Shamit for kirti's exit, I would just like to remind everyone that they (all three judges) didn't say anything agains Shamit & his Gang in the same episode ( Janta ka faisla). They only opened their mouth in the next episode (Runbhoomi) when Shamit (The leader of the Gang) went on to clarify his Gang's and his decision, after all the gang members were put on the "danger (Kazi) Zone" (he was saying that it was just coincident and unanimous decision… and all this crap). It was the clear case of "Chor Ki Dadi mai Tinka". Than & only Then Javed & Sankar started basing Shamit and I still remember Sankar ask the gang "who was the better singer" and everyone (Including Shamit) said "KIRTI" .

Now tell me how Arijit has done anything wrong, at least he still stands on his decision and have guts to say this to Ila arun.

My second post ( In reply to someone who was suggesting that student voting should be fair)

But how can one expect fair voting when the players are their own referee (Umpires). If you give them the power of choosing their competitor, obviously they are going to choose the weakest contestant (it all started with kirti's episode). If they didn't have all that drama followed after kirti's exit and the pressure to choose the right guy, Amit (weaker singer compares to Shamit) would have been chosen instead of Shamit . Get real guys… this is real life…no fairytale.

Just picture this scenario for the final four, if Shamit (lets think for one sec that he is still in the run) happens to be a top student of the week & roopu in by janta's vote. Now one contestant from Arijit & Arpita has to go. AND since Shamit is the top student he gets to decide who would gets out from FG. Shamit got two options Arpita whom he has friendship with from last 10 years & Arijit who is his so called small brother. And since Shamit already said that Arpita & he make a perfect famejodi…there is no chance for Arijit so he votes him out. NOW JUST TRY TO IMAGINE WHAT ARIJIT MIGHT THINK AT THAT POINT. HE WOULD THINK THAT "I SHOULD HAVE VOTED SHAMIT OUT WHEN I HAD THE POWER".

Now tell me what has Arijit done wrong if can calculate from little bit of knowledge & Shamit's behavior towards Arpita (don't need a rocket science here) & Voted Shamit (His very Strong Competitor) out.

What script have I written? I just expressed my feelings. And I don't think you got my point. I am not pitching Shamit against Arijit. I am just deploring JA's behavior; he was highly discouraging towards Shamit -that's all. He showed a bias. And the only reason Shamit even tried to give 'safaai' was because indirect hints had been made by the judges on the previous night against the voting.

Let me refresh your memory a bit. All three judges didn't even name Shamit or anyone who voted agains kirti for that metter. Here is what they said after kirti was voted out.

Sankar said that " Gurukul ke jo sishya hai, they are getting more intelligent. So the sefest thing is to vote for the person jo apne liye khatra ban sakta hai, lekin is moke pe mai yahi kahna chahunga ki kirti hmm you are out of the gurukul but I'll make u sing in my film"

JA- Kirti mai aap se yeh kahna chahunga ki vaha jaha aap khade hai vaha aap is liye khade hai ki aap bahut ache singer hai. Mai aapse kahunga ki aaj jo hua use aap hamesa yaad rakhiyega use kabhi bhuliyega mat or mai ummid karta hu ki aaj jo khuch hua hai vo aap ko bahut bura laga hoga.. or lagna chahiye…or isse jo dil mai gussa hai or jo hurt hai usko aap bach ke rakhiyega or use aapne kaam mai istemaal kijiyega. Us gusse ko us energy ko aap aapke kaam pe lagayiye..aap is poori duniya ko gurukul banayenge ek din gurukul banayege jismai aap jitenge.

Now tell me why Shamit & only Shamit (there were other 4 people who voted against kirti) had to be the Gang leader and tell the judges that it was just a matter of coincidence and unanimous decision to vote for gurpreet. WHO ASKED HIM FOR CLERIFICATION? Let me repeat this one more time "it was the clear case of CHOR KI DADI MAI TINKA". For Shamit, i just wanaa say that "sometime it is better to shut your mouth & let people think that you are stupid rather then opening it and turning everyone's doubt in reality"
