T'days's update- 24th aug 5k

3 Contestant – danger zone…Opening song.. Bas aaj ki raat hai zindagi.. kal hum kahan tum kahan…

To relieve their tension they went to pizza hut….
When asked qazi, with whom he wants to b fame jodi.. firstly he said, it will be rex, then arijit, then rex.. now wht is in mind.. he said.. currently I m thinking with arpita.!!!

First performance: Arijit: he sang Aaaja Mahiya.. (fiza)
Brilliantly sang .. amazing performance

When asked Arijit.. abt his singing… he said.. he is the best among rest of the contestant in gurkul.

Comments:
JA: If Arijit is voted out , then it will loss for the gurukul.. he also said.. he can write with his blood tht one day arijit will be very successful singer.

Shankar: no one can sing this song better than Arijit.. and if Arijit think; he is the bst.. then he is right.

Second performance: Rex: he sang Woh pehli baar, jab hum mile (pyaar mein kabhi kabhi)
No doubt , he really sang very well.

When asked rex tht is there any chances for him to b in gurukul.. he said.. when public can vote for Qazi five times; then they can also give him one more chance.

Comments:
Shankar: He sang very well. The song got easy notes; but to sing easy notes is again a very tough job, and rex has done that.

JA: he said, he is amazed by rex.. he is a overall performer… he can go to the end stage of Gurukul. Very well sung.

Third performance: Qazi: he sang sach mere yaar hai (I think its frm sadmaa)

He is growing, learning a lot. Performed well. But again words r not coming proper.
When asked qazi tht t'day his performance was not vibrant as it used to be.. he said. I had spoken to my mom few days back.. she said.. u were to become an actor; then u have come into this singing competition.. he said.. I don't care.. but I will go some extent in singing… its just I m bit emotional.

Comments:
JA: he said; if u r missing ur home, then no is stopping u.. u can go to ur home…
As for performance; he is improving, but still needs to cover a long way in singing.

Shankar: Change in voice.. well sung!

When asked arpita, who will she vote if qazi is not selected by janta… She said it depends who is voted out..So, manav said if u have to choose b/w arijit and Qazi.. she said.. arijit.. n if b/w Qazi & Rex.. she said Rex.

Arijit Parents were there.. they said.. Arijit should stay in gurukul… as he is a good singer.. n ppl don't understand him ..(take in the wrong sense) coz of the language prob.


Qazi's neighbour came.. she said.. fame jodi won't look incomplete without qazi.. he made our state proud.


Decision

So to deside b/w two Arijit & Rex

1) Qazi – he voted for Rex
2) Shamit – He voted for Arijit
3) Rooprekha – She voted for Arijit
4) Arpita- She voted for Arijit

So, Rex was voted out and Arijit was in.
When asked judges, was the decisobn taken by contestant as correct or not..

KK : "its not tht whether the decision is correct or not.. I personally like rex.. as he is not a trained singer, I am also not a trained singer.. I learn singing frm other.. we don't have one guru.. we got thousands of gurus."

JA: He said "the decision is incorrect.. but if Arijit is standing there, then was it was incorrect… coz these contestants don't have much choices.. they got two wrong choices to made.. n anyhow, one has to b wrong.. in Fg there is not a combination like Rex.. with singing ability.. dancing ability… he is avery good singer"

Shankar: He said"one of thepillars r going frm gurukul.. n rex is a very good singer..while talking to u.. one thing came into my mind.. to make a song "koi kahe" with kirti, mon aand rex"
In the last rex sang pretty women frm kal ho na ho.. he said.. I can never forget Rooprekha.. n to arpita.. "tu hameesha muh phula kar rehti hai.. aaj to has de jab mein jaa raha hooon"

Everyone was crying.. arpita was crying maximum.

So guys, curtain open with quawalli performance of top 5 students

They performed on Aaj agar dushman… !
Nice performance by all of them .. qazi was given only one sher in b/w to sing in his performance…

So, hold ur breathe.. 3 new contestants are coming on Stage to perform.

1) Monica Gardgil- Learning music since childhood
2) Ravi tripathi – quite a influential person in music world
3) Sandeep batra- music is in his soul.


First Performance – Monica- She sang Mujhe Rang de .. frm the movie thashak (Picturized on Tabu )
(Nice performance.. seems quite nervous; I can't compare her with mona or with arpita.. they r too good!)

Second Performance- ravi Tripathi- Duniya Haseeno ka mela frm the movie gupt (picturized on Bobby deol)
(Ok ok performance.. seems over confident coz of his back in music world)

Third Performance – Sandeep Batra – He sang Dil deewana .. yeh dil.. deewana Pardes (Picturized on shahrukh khan )
(Nice voice; very good performance)

Shankar- very good voice quality, but throw was not there in song.
JA- masti was seen less in the song
kk- at one or two places sur was left; but it cud b of nervousness.

Second song, he sang was , kaho na kaho, yeh aanakhen bolti hai oh sanam frm the movie murder….
(Seriously Shamit Rocked.. he even danced with a girl frm audience on his first performance.)

(She really performed well.. she sang beautifully. )

Romantic number… were lost in each other eyes
Tara tun tara tun mein hum tum.. dil ki kashti…
(slow number.. amazing performance by both of them… they bot hwere looking soo cute!!!)

Woh sikander hi doston kehlata hai .. jo jeeta wohi sikander.
(Nice performance again by rooprekha & arijit.. qazi was trying to copy arijit's steps.. his main concentration was on arijit.)

Amit Sana ; he sang a song frm his album Chal diye… !!

First Performance; Janabe Ali …
(….forgot his lines in b/w .. does not understand wht he is singing???? He killed the song.)
Second performance – no no tum pyaar na karna – kyun ho gaya na…
He was singing as if , he is trying to say, no no mere bas ki baat nahi hai singing.. he was not able to meet ppl's eyes… again he forgot the lines of his song.. just singing lele… sur milane ki koshish aachai thi; par afsoos.. aap n kaamiyaab huye qazi saab………… the worst performance was by qazi!)

At the end all five came on the stage and sang the song frm their album – aasma ke paar koi aasma hoga.

Update 29th Aug 2005

1) Both new students were welcome in Fame gurukul. Roorekha & qazi shown them rooms & surrounding of Gurukul.

2) Ragging of monica & sandeep by old students. First Monica was asked to sing in boys voice and act. Then Sandeep was asked to do thumka in girls style (Mein up bihar leke). Then Monica was asked to choose one boy and sing a romantic song with expressions. She chooses Arijit and sang with him. Same Sabdeep was asked to choose one girl and sing a song. He chooses Rooprekha. Everyone was pulling his or her legs. Then they ere asked to crawl down n with nose to drag apple. Sandeep came first. The they ere asked tht they will address them as sir or Mam whenever they meet them and also bow down.


3) Illa Arun came in next scene and told the new students tht they do postmoterm of their performances the very next day. About Monica, everyone said tht she seems quite nervous.

4) All the students were asked to visit janamstami festival, where they saw ghagri tootna , govinda special festival.


5) In the next scene, The home coming of rex, Kirti & Mona was shown. Three of them were quite excited. They all had a tour of gurukul again.

6) Padma Mam was giving mona session abt cming week performance. She is singing, chal hat (Shaadi ka ladoo), Prashant Sir was giving session to kirti abt his cming perf on Toota toota ek parinda, again Padma Mam was shown giving lesson to rex abt his perfomance on bardaast nahi kar sakta .


7) When all students arrive in gurukul they were very happy to meet rex, mona & kirti, everyone hugged each other, even shamit & kirti meet like old frnds. Qazi was happy to meet rex, and same with girls.

8) In the next scene, rajesh balwani was shown n he was giving some exercises to everyone. Firstly he asked everyone to make a pair and make some hairstyle. Then he asked everyone to jump and arugue on some topic.


9) Arijit parents came to meet him. He was very happy to c them. They converse regading the fame gurukul and abt his place.

10) Mickey mehta was shown Giving some exercise to all of them, in which mona was fainted. They gave first aid.

That all for the day. Tomm shahid kapoor will b coming to have some fun in gurukul.

Update 30th Aug 2005

1) The episode was started with the continuation of prev nite, where Mona Fainted. Doctor came for her chkup, she was fine afterwards. It was just over exertion

2) There was some arguments b/w Shamit & Qazi. Qazi played a joke on shamit, which shamit didn't liked it. Qazi said he was just joking, in which shamit replied, y he always joking tht to negatively on him.

3) Illa Arun in her room called Kirti. She said, she was very unhappy to c kirti out and said , she didn't liked the red ribbon of cross in front of Kirti's pic, n she removed it.

4) Al three contestant were asked to prepares their own voting song for 30 sec in which they can include their positive points and y ppl should vote for them, and campaign. Everyone participated as they can also include the contestants.

5) All three were practicing their number with dance steps. Y'day mona was seen practicing on Chal Hatt, now she is performing on Bachke rehne re baba bachke rehne re.

6) Shamit & Arpita was shown talking to each other, tht who should be in FG. Shamit said Rex should come back to Fg coz he can interact with public. Arpita said, Mona is also nice and also kirti. When shamit asked, think as a public, then whom u have voted for.. after thinking arpita said, Rex.

7) Again Rajesh Balwaani came for their Motivation classes. Firstly he asked everyone to make a pair n will talk like pyaare n dulare.. mona with qazi, kirti with rex & shamit .. (it was quite hilarious e.g., in the old movie where they used to talk, devdaaas ………. Tumm aaa gaye… Paroooooo maine aa hi gaya). Then he asked everyone to free themselves, their body and shake whole body…everyone did. Initially rooprekha was bit shy, but when she closed her eyes, she was in crowd then; arpita was bit rigid, which is y, rajesh Balwani also pointed out !! After tht shamit & arpita discussed, shamit said u were bit conscious, in reply arpita said, baad mein to theek ho gaya tha.. in which again shamit said, nahi u r more conscious abt ur hair then.

8) When asked everyone individually who shouldn't be in gurukul abt all three contestants; shamit said mona, Arijit said mona, Arpita said kirti, monica said kirti, Rooprekha was said kirti, sandeep said kirti and qazi too said kirti, should not b in gurukul.

9) Everyone went to their room, celebrity surprise came into Gurukul.. no time for guesses.. it was shahid kapoor!!! Shahid kapoor wen t\into the faculty room, and thru speaker he called everyone in the common room and asked them to come marching. Everyone was very surprised and happy to meet shahid.

10) Shahid asked them , he will ive them 20 mins time and they have to perform one skit or song with things given (cap, flowers, cycle…) he divided them into two teams.

11) Team A- Shamit, Rooprekha, Monica, Kirti& Qazi : they performed a short storyline with songs and dialogies. Where shamit is shown on cycle n saying I m going to date two girls. First he goes to monica na daksed her to sit on his cycle. Then rooprekha.. as he goes further, kirti & qazi started singing songs, and both girls run away to thjem, ans shanit is shown sitting on the ground. Then all of them started singing and dancing. Team B- Rex, sandeep, Arpita & Mona. They performed on Who sikander hi doston kehlata hai.. starting song was performed by mona & arpita then rex came in with sandeep on cycle. Team A was declared the winners as they had some storyline. Then shahid asked tht, he wants to c their performance which they will perform on stage. So mona performed baach ke rehna re baba … where rex and kirti too joined.. shahid enjoyed their performance and also danced with them.


12) In the last, al three were asked to say sometng to all contestants while going. So Kirti gave a small speech which was continued by mona n then rex.
