Update 12th Oct 2005 – Ranbhoomi Round
T'day the performance was performed in the studio itself n all three judges were present.
Students were asked to vote for the person who they don't wish to b in top 3, among danger zone contestants.
And all students will b singing their best performance song up till now in gurukul
First Performance – Ruprekha; She sang chandini Raatein – originally sung by great singer Noorjahan.
Comments-
JA- Noorjahan ke baad aaj aapne aacha gaaya.
Shankar- Wonderful singing
KK_ Mind blowing.

Second Performance- Rex; He sang aye ajnaabi tu hi kahin from the movie dils e.
When asked how much he will give points to himself for his performance, he said 8/10

Comments-
KK- I always felt tht this guy got a feel in his voice, gr8 voice
Shankar- nine and a half on 10

Third performance- Arpita; She sang aaye mein kahan phasi, aaise phjasi, pape baacha lo tussi- originally performed by Helen (not sure)

KK_ Gr8 performance, very well sung
So, in the last, manav opened the ballot box and took 4 slips
On first one Arpita name was written
Second one Ruprekha name was written
On third one Rex name was written
On fourth one Ruprekha name was written
So, out of 4 contestant, two does not ant ruprekha to be in.

Now qazi n RR is to decide who will be in….
First Came – ruprekha- She gave her vote to Arpita
Then qazi came- he said some dialogues to rex like forgive me, etc..
But voted for Rex.
So, this week arpita was the person who left the gurukul.
Rex is among top 3 now.
When asked Faculty abt this decision…
IIla- I agree with this decision. I m very happy.
Padma- I am also very happy tht rex is in, I agree with this decision.
Prashant- u r good singer, just change ur corporate attitude n be some personal.

JA- u r a very good singer, try to b more happy.

KK- its good u r focus in ur career, but try to bring some lightness in ur life.

JA- in mein chemistry se jayda to physics lag rahi hai.

RRR performed with a small girl santoshi on gore gore se chore .. humtum
Solo performance by RR on chupe se raat ki chaaddar tale- saathiya

1) JA- Acche logo ke saath kya hamessha aacha hi hota hai- haan hota hai.. par zaroori nahi ki hamessha aacha hi hoye
2) KK- itne months mein aapko mere kya improvement dekha , mere song mein ya mere weight mein- tumhare weight mein to decrease hi hua hai, aur singing mein toh tumne ladder upper climb kiyya hai.
3) Shankar- aapko mere mein kya acha lagta hai- firsly our hindi is not good, which is very similar. N secondly ur honesty, tumhara saaf dil jo tumhare song mein dekhta hai.
4) Uday- mere mein aapko kya pasand aaya- I m ur fab,. U got a very sweet voice. Mein toh aapka deewana ho gaya hoon.
Third performance by Qazi & Rex; Dilbara oh dilbaar, aapun ki tu, aapun tera- Dhoom

Update 17th Oct 2005

1) All faculty members n headmistress came to have a word with all the 3 contestants. They said, they will b given a song, which will be in their album.
2) Mahesh Bhatt Came to meet the students. He gave a small lecture how to deal with media, and wht exactly is media. He said, we will b playing game like, one of them will b reporter n rest two will b jodi, now reporter will try to trap the jodi. After tht he said, there r 4 stages of a person in this fame world, one, where whole audience will hug u n welcome u in this world, second, he has achieved, third, he is finished n last which is very less is , he came back, which was spoken for Amitabh bacchan.
3) There was a surprise celebrity guest in gurukul, he was Sonu nigam. Sonu just had a chit chat with three of them. He aksed them if u r performing in front of audience wht will b ur body language, how will u come to the stage etc.. each n everyone showed their performances. In the last, rex asked sonu to act like qazi.. sonu acted like qazi when he was declared safe, mein pak gaya hoon, is danger zone se, aaj mein sajda karoonga, maine aapne baacho ka naam danger rakhoonga..
4) all three played game in which one will blinfolde the other two contestant n tied them with chairs, so whish jodi will open their knots quickly will b FJ.. first qazi & rr.. they opened in 46 sec.. then qazi& rex- they opened in 34 sec, then rex n rr- 35 sec .
5) qazi n rex shown conversing in their room, tht who will b fj, qazi said it will b nice if he n rex r declared as fj.. they were saying, its sure tht rr is there in fj.
6) Faculty discussing with each other who can be the successful jodi, like qazi n rr, if qazi improve his singing n rr improves her performance then they r very good jodi, rr n rex, they compliment each other.. they r very good jodi as rex got tht macho voice n rr got the femeine touch, rex n qazi, yeh jayeda itni jami nahi, but qazi wants this.
7) In the last they were shown practicing their ranbhoomi performance.. rex & qazi.. tune abhi jaana nahi frm the movie do aur do paanch (shahsi kapoor n amitabh baachan), rr n rex will sing aware bhaware jo hole hole gaaye from movie sapna…rr n qazi, tujhe dhoonta hoon har kahin from DCH

Update 18th Oct 2005

1) Top three students going thru stress, coz of which they were not able to concentrate on their singing and performance. Illaji asked them go to the recording room. Then she welcomes all the oldies of gurukul. She told them, tht all three r going thru stress now u ppl have to cheer them up and energize their performance. They made a plan. All students went to their respective rooms and switch off the lights and act to sleep. Top three entered to their respective n was shocked to c someone sleeping on beds.. rex ne kahan yeh laashe padi hai, rops was horrified when she entered her room. So light was switch on everyone shouted with happiness to c their frnds. They hug, play with them, masti types kiya sab ne… shamit hugged rups as rups started crying.
2) Illa ji told the oldies to give arks the best jodi they feel. So everyone performed as jodi (top three), everyone really applauded rex n qazi jodi, chavvi gave them 11/10, amit 10/10, gurpreet 10/10.
3) Music director came to meet the top three (forgot his name), he heard them singing in jodi n asked them, where they can improve.
4) a) Campaigning was shown in the contestant cities.. Qazi, everyone wished him luck n saying vote for qazi, qazi is the best; his school was shown, his teachers also wished him luck, his family, grand parents, relatives, friends, everyone wished him.
b) At rups place, her father posted the posters n did the campaign to vote for rups, her sis went to neighbors and asked them to vote for ruprekha. Her frnds wished her luck, whole family n neighbors wished her luck, and her school was also shown. Rups nickname is pinky.
c) Rex sis showed the terrace where rex used to sing, study.. his mother also prepared the pamphlets an did the campaign, everyone praised for rex abt his voice, his singing, his building kids was shouting rexy & rupu… rex nick name is bunty. His sis said she wanted to c rex & qazi as FJ.

5) Illaji asked them to share their memorable moments, rup said she n qazi get along well when they step in gurukul, he said u r my sis, rex said, I have teased rups a lot, but she is a very good frnd n a sis. He said my most memorable is when qazi was declared in safe zone he sang pyaar toh hona hi tha. N with rups I started going well when we sang dil toh pagaal hai.
6) In the last they all pray to god for the results and left their destiny on god as they all packed their bags for the end of one journey and to get ready for their next journey of life.

Update 19th Oct 2005

Top three students.. Rex, Ruprekha, Qazi; Special Judge- Bhumika chawla
T'day they will be performing on 2 songs; one frm the movie n frm of their own album; who so ever pair will win this FJ crown will sing on the album
First Performance by Rex& Ruprekha- First a film kind clipping as shown; very romantic clips of rex n Rups; With the backgrnd scores of baaho ke darmiyaan
They gave performance on Ek bagiyan mein rehti hai ek maina.. frm the movie sapna.
KK commented – very well, keep it up.
Second Performance by Qazi & Ruprekha; shown movie clipping
They perform on the album song; yeh pal.. hume yaad aayengaye…
JA- very nice jodi.
Third Performance by Rex & Qazi ; shows the movie kind clippings on both of them with backgrnd scores of ruke na tu, jhuke na tu, dum..
They performed on Hum do aur do panch ho gaye; jo soche who samjhe, owh karke dekhaaye frm the movie do aur do panch.
Shankar commented that; fantastic jodi, jahan bhi jayengaye aaga laga dengaye.
Fourth performance Rex and ruprekha on album performance .. yeh pal.. humne yaad ayengaye, with diff composition; quite romantic.
Bhumika commented tht this is the best performance.
Judgment was shown of the public and tv actors. Most of the TV actors preferred rex & Rup n public voted for qazi+ rr or Qazi+rex.
Fifth performance by Qazi & Ruprekha on jisse dhoonta hoon har kahin, who mili nahi mujhe hai kahin.. frm Dil chahta hai.
JA- aap din pa din bahut aache singer bante jaa rahe hai.. aaisa hi aacha gayenge kya aap.

Sixth n the last performance by Rex & Qazi on album song.. yeh pal .. hume yaad aayengaye…
Rex said, the lyrics was such tht, he became soo senti, it's the journey in gurukul. Same qazi said, n they both hugged each other.
Bhumika said, even she got emotional after hearing this song
In the last all faculty members thanks each other.

Update 20th Oct 2005- Final Result Of Fame gurukul

Opening Performance by all oldies… Kirti, anubhav, amit, shamit, arpita, gurpreet, monica, mona, arijit, sandeep, chavvi. On Asama ke paar koi aasma hoga..
Entrance of all top 3 students.
When asked oldies, who is their fav FJ. The choice was b/w rex& rr or rex& qazi.. no one gave votes to qazi & rr. Max votes i.e., 7 votes were gone to rex& qazi n rest 4 to rex& rr.
Abhijeet Sawant came .. he gave wishes to all of them n said I voted for all the three pairs.
First performance by Rex & Ruprekha on Tum pass aaye, yu muskuraaye from Kuch kuch hota hai..
After the completion of song, rex mom cam eon stage. N have mandira exchange two words, as how does she feels seeing rex at this stage. His mom said I m very happy, as now whole Indian recognizes him.

When asked Judges their decision was like:

KK- Rex & Qazi
Shankar- RR& Qazi
Second performance – Rex & Qazi ; they gave performance on hum dono hai alag alag, hum dono hai juda juda. Frm the movie main khilardi tu anari.
After the performance qazi mo was c alled on stage. She thanked all faculty, all judges n also janta n said 10 times janta saved him so this time she hopes janta will save him.
Then new gurukul students were called . smita bansal, hansika, vinod, ajay, taniaaz currim, bobby darling…
Third Performance by Ruprekha & Qazi on ek mein aur ek tu, frm the movie khel khel mein.
When asked the faculties abt their fav jodi:
Illa – Rex & Qazi
Mickey- rex& qazi
Prashant- rex & rr
Padma- Rex & qazi
Cesar- rex & qazi

Then there was a Jassi Break…

After 30 mins .. FG started againg….

Manav gave his best wishes to all three…
He went to the outside crowd, he asked who they ant.. it was mixed response. Rr+q, rr+rex, rex+q
Finally, mandira asked all three, who can b FJ,
Qazi said I & Ruprekha
Ruprekha said Rex & Qazi
Rex said I agree with Qazi, its qazi & ruprekha
So finally, it was announced

They both gave thanking note. Qazi gave thanking note to his chacha, rr gave thanks to her parents, her guru, her well wishers.

In the end both of them sang song; their album song. Yeh pal, hume yaad ayengaye yeh pal

So, here its ends the journey of fame gurukul….

Hope this is the end of a show.. but not the end of our friendship.
