India 4th August's episode

Hi!, I'm new here. I watched the 4th August episode in India. I thought
Javed Akhtar really went over the top. A man of his stature and knowledge
over reacting like that was sad to see. I just hope it's all a gimmick and
he's been paid good money to behave like that.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, today after Shamit was
voted in by his friends he was trying to make a point that he was really
hurt at being called "political", intelligent" etc.(his views here, i'm sure
some of us would disagree), but the way Javed Akhtar piled onto him first
and later ila Arun was not funny and quite beneath him. I mean, he could
have just let shamit 's comments pass, but to react so violently.... makes
me think he's got something personal against the guy, yaar. Going by
this, shamit will surely again be in Khatra this coming week. my heart
really went out to him....

Don't know who's guilty, but since all voting is done before anybody can
show who they voted for... maybe what they said about wanting Gurpreet
not to feel bad and therefore inadvertantly voting out kirti sounds quite
plausible...But whatever it is... Javed akhtar should remember that he's a
judge and he should rise above these contestants and not spar with
them... Also he should have basic courtesy to let Ila Arun speak,
especially when she so patiently waited him to finish. Don't know about
his lyrics and music, but definitely not very gentlemanly on his part....

as it is he said something unwarranted to Shamit on Wednesday's show
also although he apologised for it...

this is realty TV and crazy!!! 😳 . For those who haven't seen the episode
yet , i'm sorry if i'm hurting feelings here--- but as I said one just has to
see Mr. Akhtar in action today 😆

I happen to agree with your conclusion that either Javed Akhtar is being paid huge amount of money to do this or he has a personal grudge against Shamit.....

Yesterday according to sony's update, he said to Gurpreet that she needs to respect audience's choice..... Why does not he follow that advice himself as in respecting the candidate's (Shamit here) choice between Gurpreet and Kirti. Well.... Okay, you thought he did it smartly to exclude Kirti..... AND you stated that clearly and gave him punishment to be in the bottom three.... NOW LET IT GO...... Grow up..... Why critisize every time for the same matter..... And also about using mother's name.... Even before candidates have used such statements like I am here to fulfil my parent's dream..... I am here for Dad's dream (I think Amit said that) to get real..... So what's wrong when Shamit says he is there to fufil his mother's dream.....

Anyway if it still is continuing then I too feel pity for Shamit..... As he will keep coming in Khatara again and again just because judges are against him for personal reasons......

true, seriously every one is playing games against shamit..... shamit was not the only one who gave vote to kirti.. it was everyone's fault.. y are'nt judges saying anything to them.. y always shamit is the one who is slaughter in front of public.. if this is the scene going in future.. definately , we will be loosing one of the finest singer frm fame gurukul..... Shamit!

Also remember, before making the comment (Shamit being political/intelligent voting) Javed or any other judge should be 100% sure that Shamit really did the politics..... Just saying that in front of the people who will be voting after that is not a very smart thing to do unless you want it to go that/your way...... So if they are sure then on that basis, remove Shamit altogether from the show... OR leave the subject and move on....

They have all the 24 /7 shooting.... Go thru all of that... And I am sure they have gone thru all of that.... And only conclusion is that they haven't found anything more than what they have shown....... So that means or it proves Shamit not guilty.....

And even if we assume that he is guilty then he alone cannot make Gurpreet win.... right? That means some other people also voted with the same agenda...... So why not they also get punished? Why alone Shamit......? okay even if he influenced them (which I don't believe) .... Then show the evidence..... And they are not the kids next door.... to get influenced easily..... They are also one of the contenders of the 1 crore Rs. prize.... They are also equally responsible..... How come one becomes more responsible for the conspiracy than others.....?

Anyway I firmly beleive that if they had any better evidence than what they have shown, they would definitely show it..... And that means that he is not the conspirator.... He just voted to Gurpreet out of sympathy..... That's all.....

so what happen to qazi? did he won or not?

All I can say is😕 as we have to wait for another week to watch this episode. But from your comments it looks like Jury is after Shamit for the same old reason🤢. May be it's all scripted for higher TRPs.

Was Javed Akhtar happy that Qazi won? or was he mad?

Oh my god..............why these people are digging it again and again? I mean Shamit, judges and faculty? I am yet to see the episode but should they not move ahead and forget all what happened?

Maybe there was some politics involved in voting but nobody knows for sure. People who did it know it themselves for sure and they must have learnt a lesson from it. If they cannot respect contestants voting person of their choice; then why have they given them rights to vote in the first place?

i agree with everybody and now it is the time people should move on. wat ever happened was past.so please let Shamit live in peace.

I dont know about today's episode but Javed's retort to Shamit in the previous episode I thought was very apt. When Shamit was put in the danger zone, he took the mike and tried to justify his stance on voting for Gurpreet and when asked by the judges if he thought he voted for the right person keeping music in mind - he said NO and that he regrets making the wrong choice. To this Javed Akthar said - if you think you made a mistake by voting Kirti out, so be it. BUt if you think you are here in the danger zone because you voted Kirti out - then this would be your second mistake and our big folly. You are not here because of your vote, but just because you were not up the mark today. I didnt think his retort was insulting at all. When Shamit challenged them - he was asking for it on national TV.

I personally think those who voted for Gurpreet that day made the wrong choice. The participants very well know why they have the power to vote - they are not the audience who get to vote just because they like a singers face - they are supposed to vote for the person who is musically sound without holding any personal bias. They failed to do that and did Kirti wrong and this guilt has even affected their performance. I think Shamit should just let it rest and not bring up this topic over and over again.
