It wuz soo much funn to watch them perform, wat they did in the gurukul, all the dramaa, all the happiness, sadness, funninesss, Rex crackinn jokess, Qazii being..Qazii lol, Rupu bein confuused, ARijiit n Shamit alwayz in controversyyy, Javed Akhtarr fighting wit Ila Arunn, Arprita beingg her mean selff, allllll thatttt isss whatt Fame Gurukul is aboutt and it wuz thaa funnest show 2 watch!! FG ROCKSS!!

If you look (objectively) at the success of the top 4 contestants from II 1 or SRGMP challenge (top 3) it becomes self evident that they have done far better and have become far more sought after than FJ.

Abhijit, Rahul, Prajakta (the exception being Amit Sana who just doesn't have a very good stage presence) have gone to UK, Africa, Middle East (among others) for concerts. Infact, Abhijit will be performing around the world with Vinit and Hemani in UK, US and middle east.

Now compare this to FJ. They have had a few concerts in Bangladesh and perhaps in the middle east and Africa. They are not sought after and there is no "buzz" about them. I don't anticipate anybody would sponsor them for a concert tour in the west (where the big money is).

Additionally, all these other contestants have sung for hindi movies (yes, each and everyone of them). To the best of my knowledge (and I'm not 100% sure about this) neither RR or Qazi have been offered songs for Hindi films.

Based on all this data, one can deduce that FJ was and will remain far less successful than the winners of other like contests.

I cant predict the future.. But personally I like Qazi a lot, even stated liking his voice a lot, (hope he continues his riyaaz), for the josh and passion he has..and his performance..as yet I am not bored of him. I loved his Jodi No 1 CD also. I cant say for others, I can only say for myself.

I would not want him to playback right now. I would want him to concentrate on his acting career take his time to bloom and then do playback for himself..Develop himself in a step by step manner..That is what he himself desires.. Plan his career well and not rush into it..

Buzz can always be created whenever required. just one HIT is required..even the greats have to struggle for that HIT every year..so just one HIT (in acting or singing) ....and then..get some media guys and have a publicity blitz..😳

Qazi needs just some Hits....and everyone will run after him..

It will be a struggle for him we know , he is not a STAR-Son or from a filmy family (he struggled in FG also!), but why are we admirers here for..but to cheer for him 😉

About the post written above,yes that can be one way of looking at it.But I being a qazi-rupu-rex fan have a different perspective on it.
I think that although qazi trio has performed only in India and BD uptill now they were solely their own shows.The people bought the tickets to thes shows just to see them.I would rather have them perform in their own shows than see them tag along with the big Bollywood stars like akshay kumar,Preity,rani,kareena SRK.
It is true that teh SRGMP singers r performing in these shows along with the Bollywood stars but do u think for a min any person would be buying the tickets to these shows when those mega stars r there.They will definitely be a fringe benefit to the audience but they won't be the stars of the show.They will be there just as fillers singing while the audience is waiting impatiently for their favorite Bollywoodstar to come out.If anyone needs a break in the show when do u think they r going to take it 😆 while one of these SRGMP singers is performing.
I am not insulting these singers but this is a fact which happens when u r tagging along with SRK,ur own identity is lost.
I hope that Zee will have enough confidence in these singers and will organise their own shows where they will be the stars like sony did for the top 3 of FG where people go just for them.

Any way that is my way of thinking and i know that people r going to make a lot of nasty comments on Qazi and Rupu but i don't carre and don't have anything more to say as long as sony has confidence on qazi that he can run the whole show with Rupu and Rex.

u said, singers even if tht If you talk to the man on the street and ask them who they rather see in concert (with the choices being Abhijit, Himani, Debojit, Nihira, Rahul..with comparison to FJ) I can guarantee you 75% would not chose FJ. People in the west demand quality for their money.

That is exactly the saddest part abt FameJhodi. Qazi knew he's not a singer, and best singer he will never be even after reincarnation. But he continued to throw all the dialogues and buttered the judges and junta for their sympathy. Result: a deserving candidate lost and he won. His acting career will end up with the same results as Qazi's singing... what goes around comes around - it will finally be pay-back time for Qazi if and when he ends up on the acting arena. Frankly, he is no actor and no singer any way you look. He is just a gabber and thats what he will remain as long as he can sweet-talk his fans. And with all the shows they have performed, success, if any, is due to Rexy and his performance. Rooprekha does not even exist and, if Qazi had a choice, he wud drop her as hot potatoes - ohhh she's "like a sister" act and he doesn't want to pose with her is all humbug on Qazi's part. Neither Qazi nor Rooprekha has personality, versatility, or dignity... they took what did not belong to them. Thanks to Politics.

Well rolm the way u said qazi wont survivie long in the singing field..well all I hav to say is Qazi knows hes not a good singer...and how do u noe if hes concentrating on acting...do u hav any proof?...no offense to any ppl on de forum but summ people just make up stuff abt qazi acting dat doesnt u beleive it...and ya Qazi knows hes not the best singer on Earth and thats why hes soon starting to get trained by some proffesional guru for singing
