fill half 5 litre from that 5 litre container fill 3 litre half..

so in 5 litre it will be 1

Fill the 5 litre container pour it in 3 litre then empty 3 litre container.pour the remaining 2 litres in to the 3 litre container. again fill the 5 litre container fill the 3 litre.Again empty 3 liter fill the 3 litre again from the 5 litre container.What is left in the 5 litre is 1 litre.. 😆 😆

well first measure 3 liter and pour in 5 liter container, then u again measure 3 litre and pour in 5 litre , offcourse it will take only 2 out of 3 , so rest is 1 litre left
