People... help... I'm sooooooo confused, tired and whatever.

I have a poem to write for a competition tomorrow. I'm really not a poetry person but my teacher wants me to do it so I signed up. Now... I don't know what to write!

I'm writing on Caribbean Dialect. I know it'll be hard getting help from you guys because you aren't in the Caribbean... but just wanted to share my sorrow *sigh*.

Alright, here's what I have so far. It's written in dialect, obviously, since I'm writing ABOUT dialect.

Put in di yam, di potato and di spice,
'Cuz we Caribbean dialect not as plain as rice,
It rich, it rich as wah
It not like dem food dat serve raw

Dem posh-posh American go say,
"Hi, guys, where are you today?"
Buh in nice-nice Grenada,
Is, "Whey yu is today?"
Di Vincys and dem go tell you,
"Par you dey?"
While in Rasta country Jamaica,
"A whey a fi you?"
Is wha dey go tell thee
