LOL, Dikshu, it's confusing, isn't it? Well that's Caribbean dialect for you. It means:

Put in the yam, the potato, and the spice,
Because our Caribbean dialect is not as plain as rice,
It's rich, it's rich as what,
It's not like the food you serve raw.

And the next stanza is just how all different Caribbean islands put the same thing ("Hi guys, where are you today?") in their dialect. lol.
