Hi Guys!
I've just recently gotten involved with this show. The concept is a beautiful one. Something totally different than what all other Star Plus shows are about (apart from Airlines - which is fairly good too). What actually caught my attention for Everest was:
1) The legendary director of Jodhaa Akbar coming on Television would definitely not be a mediocre show.
2) The story of all characters struggling in their lives, but putting on a happy face in front of the world. And then all of them coming together to conquer Everest, but in real sense they will be conquering their problems - what a beautiful catch!
3) The brilliance of the actors in all roles and manners, from junior artists to senior, all of them are perfectly blended into their roles.
You might have noticed that I said A4 in my post, while all other posts I have read talk about the A3.
A3 consists of Akash, Anjali and Arjun, but A4 adds Colonel Abhyankar to the list too. You ask my why? The answer is simple! It's because he too is in a struggle, a struggle that he lost his wife to Everest, a hidden secret how and why his wife died and what connected her to Everest. I feel extremely sorry for Abhayankar, losing a life partner is not easy. And it's even more difficult when you abandon one of your most precious loves (Mount. Everest) for that one person (Tara), but then life takes you back to that position (this climb) so that you can rectify and be of help to another person (Anjali). Indeed, Colonel has my respect. *applauds*
I am hoping that there's someone out there who shares the same opinion as myself, or even a better one! I'm ready to read :)
Signing off,
Mrs. Merlin
