He possibly was Karna's daddy himself! Is anyone having some info that connects Kosala kingdom to Ps? Kosala is Sun dynasty. We cannot reject the idea of Karna's father being a Kosala king/prince. Any King of Sun dynasty can be called Surya. It is unlikely that the over intelligent & sharp minded Kunti, who clearly knew what always she wanted & made it all happen, fell in love with wrathful, pervert, fake Durvasa having long, grey beard & all those stuffs that make a teenage girl dislike him. So if anyone knows anything -rivalry/friendship- between Kosala & Ps, please post here so that at least we can consider other options if such a chance does not exist.

But why would Karna's daddy finance the Ps? Thats what I don't understand.

Unless Mr. Surya/Kosala king (?) knew that K and P's were siblings and wanted to bring them together. But that sounds lame. Why only help Yudhi during the vanvas and karna during the weapon incident, Why not help atleast Karna during other times

Not everyone was like Duryodhana or Krishna who always disliked the opposite side! What if Karna's father was a neutral type person who did not want to support one side only? There is a zero between positive & negative. I am not 100% sure, but it is a chance.
