I'm thinking to rewrite the epic. In my version, there will be no dice game. After Rajasuya Duri will be super envious to see Pandavas' wealth and will attack on IP with full army. Pandavas will join war to protect their kingdom and will win.

And Radhika is correct. Interpolation are not claimed just because we don't like the events. It's because they stand out like sore thumbs and do not connect to the rest of the story.

Urnila, what I would like to know is why Shalwa attacked G the same time as DS happened.

Drau Satya convo has already been claimed as interpolation by few researchers. They say we never saw her doing these things so how can she give such advices? There is one Bengali researcher who wrote in his book that Drau never did these things but she was just advicing her friend those things should be done by a woman to please own patidev.
As a Draupadi fan, I love to believe that chapter is original and not an interpolation. Because I feel her that way. She is like Mata Durga for me who can manage all these things and yes, can love her husbands too as Mata Durga finds time for Lord Shiva. This is my view. I admire her a lot.
As for VH and name calling, I can show you udyoga Parva citation where Krishna mentioned Karna's words to Draupadi. I think I posted that citation in this thread before.

Which is why I have come to believe the VH and the name calling were interpolations. Because no one including Krishna and Panchali talks about it afterward.

Which is why the Panchali jealousy scene after ArSu and all those Panchali scenes talking about Arjun don't fit in the story. You simply don't drop your anger at your hubby and say we will be one happy threesome!😆And Panchali who had no problems in his first exile, suddenly developed an angst during his weapons purchasing trip?😕

And sigh, I think the Drau-Satya convo was either an interpolation or carefully placed there by Vyasa to demonstrate Panchali's place in the heirarchy.

About Gita being an interpolation. A lot of the stuff in Gita is also there in Atharva Veda, I believe. Wasn't it written by the clan that Krishna's guru belonged to? I believe he may have given to Arjun over the years. Not in a time freeze moment on day one of KK.

That scene may not be an interpolation completely but it seems to be edited...

And Draupadi did not raise objections in the firsr exile bcoz she did not know that exile would become a vacation for Arjun... 😆 Besides, in the second one, she says those words bcoz by that time she was his wife for a long time...So I cant understand y that scene is an interpolation...
And see...her pining worked!! This time Arjun showed extreme in front of Urvashi whom even rishis n munis could not resist... 😆 Although this story is not in CE... 😆
