Or may be he did not expect this from Suman as he knows a very calm and quiet Suman. Yes!!! He was shocked as Suman denied his marriage proposal and was screaming.

he was recovering from the shock that suman said NO for marriage
when sindoora tried to drag suman out and then slap her
he was both shocked and in disbelief that his mother would go to such extents
