I doubt he ever beat up Ranvi enough to hospitalise him. He went with the hockey stick coz he thought Ranvi was being unfair to his sister, obviously his sister means much more to him than the sarpanch post. Both of these situations aren't equal. It is completely illogical IMO and again I blame the CVs mostly.😆

Simply roughing up Ranvi is one thing but hitting him on the head just to make him step down as a candidate in the elections is an evil act to me. Veera should know Baldev can be a kameena but not such a big shaitaan.

@Riya : Its easy to think and differentiate the situations after everything is alright . But in that moment, If I was Veera why would I search for logic when I have seen his behaviour with my brother before? When I have seen him behaving rashly with my brother before ?

Ab sochegi toh she will understand she was wrong to judge him. But I dont think she behaved oddly in that situation

I get her making that false assumption at that moment when she saw her beloved Veerji lying on the hospital bed but after she cooled down she should have gotten her head straight. None of his other acts were this low. And no, Baldev not defending himself should not have sealed the deal for her.
