Hello people :P Shocked to see me? Well this was just roaming in my mind so had to pen it down. Hope I haven't made it too dramatic or so, waiting for your comments/criticisms.

Betrayal
"Veera, mere naal chalegi?" Baldev forwarded his hand and waited for Veera to hold it. His eyes depicted trust and confidence in his love and there was a certain firmness in his facial expression. Despite everything happened, he had faith that she would not leave him.
Veera glanced at Ranvi and Ratan with teary eyes, who looked worried. Bansuri was standing just beside them and the anger overflowing on her face was enough for Veera to be shaken from within. Veera remembered her coldness and rude words when she knew about her son's love affair with her. At last, her gaze shifted back to Baldev and she was awed to see love, faith and care in his eyes for her. She knew that she meant the world to him and he would do anything for her, even leaving his family and his mother whom he loved and respected the most. But she surely did not want that. Nor did she want her own family to be humiliated once again by Bansuri because of her.
Taking a deep breath, Veera lowered her eyes and a drop of tear fell on her cheek. "Nahi chal sakti main tere naal, Baldev. Nahi---" She choked her words as something died inside her. She hated herself for betraying the guy who stood by her through thick and thin and understood her even more than she understood herself. "Matlabh ki hai tera?" Baldev asked in a fearful voice. Veera stood quiet. He desperately grabbed her arms as tight as he could. She squeezed her eyes as she was in pain but did not say a word to stop him from doing so. She looked at him with moist eyes. "Chala jaa yaha se! Aaj se... hum dono aaa--" gathering courage to speak further, she continued, "aaj se hum dono sirf... ajnabee hai. Humare beech jo bhi hua.. bhul jaa.. sab!" she tried sounding cold but her heart did not support her. Instead she seemed broken and shattered.
"Kamli ho gai ki? Arey aise kaise bhul jaau? Kaise bhul jaau sab kuch? Tere vaaste mere dil vich jo pyaar hai usse kaise mitaadu, Veera?" Baldev demanded an answer from her in restlessness. "Jaa yaha se!" Veera said and was about to cry. "Please!" she pleaded. Baldev walked away angrily. Bansuri followed him. Veera ran to her bedroom, sobbing, while others preferred to leave her alone for sometime so that she could cope up with the situation.

"Ek chand waha.. aur ek chand yaha!"
Veera pressed her mouth and cried her heart out as she saw the moon and remembered one of her blissful moments she had spend with Baldev. "Humare pyaar de vaaste ladna chahti thi Baldev. Tere naal zindagi guzarna chahti thi. Par mainu nahi pata tha ki ussi pyaar de vajah se mere parivaar nu itni beizzati sehni hogi. Nahi pata tha ki teri beeji mainu itni napasand karti hai. Main meri family nu aise insult hote huye nahi vekh sakti Baldev, woh family jisne mainu apnaya, unke aakhon vich aasu kaise aane du? Tu mainu samjhega na? Koi naa samjhe par tu toh samajh mainu.. please.." she closed her eyes as she inwardly wished for Baldev to understand her state of mind. Tears dried on her cheek and she looked quite pale, perhaps because of crying the entire day. But she did not care, all she was doing was cursing herself for ditching her love, for losing the most precious thing of her life purposefully.
She walked to her bed and sat down. The silence of the environment haunted her for some reason as Baldev's words echoed in her mind every now and then. The next moment, Baldev jumped in from the window. Startled, Veera stood up and quickly wiped off her tears. "Tu itthe? Itthe ki kar raha hai? Jaa yaha se.. Maine kaha tha na ki humare beech--" Baldev covered her mouth with his palm and pinned her against the wall. Their eyes locked and it was definitely getting hard for Veera to control herself. Baldev could sense that as well.
"Pata hai pehli bar tere vaaste ek alag ehsaas kab hua tha mainu?" Baldev asked her in a soft, tender-filled voice. Veera stared in his eyes confusedly. "Jab tune mainu gale se lagaaya aur apne sabse bade dukh ka hissa banaaya." He replied, making her shocked. "Uss waqt tera dard mere dil vich chubha. Par mainu kabhi samajh nahi aaya kyun!" Veera was pleasantly surprised. Tears rolled down her cheeks in awe.
"Jab tujhse pyaar da izhaar kia tab tune mera mazaak udaaya, mainu bar bar naa bolti rahi, mera dil bhi tod diya, aur maine bhi soch liya tha ki tere naal koi vaasta nahi rakkhunga. Par..." Baldev stopped as he remembered the day when he intentionally had hurt Veera to force her to fight with him but instead he himself felt something paining inside himself as she whined in pain. "Par.. dil tootne ke baad bhi tere dard se mainu taqleef hoti thi aur aakhir mein tainu bhi mujhse pyaar ho hi gaya." Baldev grinned when Veera's proposal flashed in his mind. "Pata hai kitna khush hua tha main mann hi mann vich?"
Unable to hold back anymore, Veera pushed him away in fury. "Baldev tu aye ki kar raha hai? Kyun bataa raha hai tu mainu aye sab? Ab ki faayda hai inn sab ka? Tu please jaa yaha se!" she literally requested him. "Mere liye aur mushkilein naa badha!"
"Mushkilein? Humara pyaar tere vaaste mushkil hai? Aur aye sab bataa raha tha tainu yaad dilaane vaaste ki humari bhi ek dunia hai... pyaar se bhara, hum dono ki dunia jo tu khud apne haathon se khatam kar rahi hai. Chee! Aye hi matlabh hai tere vaaste pyaar ka?" Baldev exclaimed in disgust.
"Woh dunia khatam ho chuki hai, usse khatam hona hi tha. Tu jaa yaha se aur mere saamne dubara mat aana." Veera screamed helplessly and tried a lot to be strong enough to make Baldev hate her and go away from her.
Baldev grabbed her arms and pulled her closer furiously. Firmly and emphasizing on each word, he said, "Main tere khelne ke liye koi khilauna nahi hu jo jab mann kia le liya aur jab mann kia phek dia. Insaan hoon, dard aur taqleef mainu bhi hoti hai. Par aye sab tere samajh se baahar hai. Pehli baar jab dil toda tab maaf kar dia tha aye sochke ki main hi jyada pareshaan karta tha tainu par iss baar..." he pushed her away angrily and harshly. "Iss bar tainu apne dil de naal khelne da mauka nahi dunga. Iss bar aye Baldev Singh woh shaitaan banke dikhaayega jo sirf apne baade mein sochega, kisi ki bhi parwaah nahi karega aur tujhse hadh se jyada... nafrat karega! Aur woh shaitaan kisi keemat pe pighlega nahi, aye aaj main kasam khaata hu!" He glared at her. "Aur aye mat samajhna ki mainu dhoka dekar tu chain se jee paayegi. Aisa kabhi nahi hoga, Veera! Kyunki teri har khushi, har dukh - sab kuch ab mere haathon vich hoga. Aur aise mein khushi toh tainu naseeb kabhi nahi hogi, aye Baldev Singh ka waada hai tujhse." He snapped his index finger at her and walked away.
Veera broke down, covering her face and weeping continuously. "Tere bina waise bhi kabhi khush nahi reh paaungi Baldev. Aaj maine khud hi tainu khud se nafrat karne vich majbur kar dia, aye hi sazaa hai mere vaaste, tera haath chodne ke liye. Aye hi sazaa hai!" she cried the whole night in silence and every second, died a thousand times.
