Seeing how she has been able to convince her brother on many issues, I am expecting her to do the same here. Strange how he sees the light every single time when it is her who points him towards reason. Be it Sampooran, Nihal or any other matter.

And this one time, i hope he acts tough & doesn't give in cos i really wanna see what Veera does in such a situation 😆

By not eloping with Baldev I am already choosing Ranvi, aren't I?😆 As for letting Baldev go from my heart, that's a different matter altogether, no one, including myself could force me to do that. It's simply not in anyone's hand..except maybe time's.😆

That will be interesting, indeed. I didn't think of that.
I want to see her be unsure of stuff. Most of the time, she looks like she knows everything will turn out the way she wants them to. I have never really seen her worried. Properly worried, I mean.

Well said. Ultimately, it is the parents who mostly bear the consequences of their child's mistakes.

And I feel terrible about the way parents are depicted as villains in our serials and movies. More than often, in the real world, (with some exceptions), they tend to be ALWAYS right.😳

There's this Tamil movie starring Dhanush which has Prakashraj as the doting brother of the heroine, a la Ranvi. Basically, the hero is a lazy, good-for-nothing youth who thinks that the world is his oyster.

And then the brother asks him a hard-hitting question- "All these days it is we who bring up our daughters and sisters...dote on them, adore them, fulfill all their needs instinctively before they even have to ask. And YOU, a man who sprang out of nowhere, a good-for-nothing scamp not good enough to tie her shoelaces...have the gall to cast ME as the villain in your love story?"

Well said, I say😉

At the end of the day, if a child feels cherished, loved and nourished, what else matters? Physiology is not everything.

For that matter, do all biological parents treat their kids well? Aren't their cases of neglect, of poor upbringings among the 'flesh and blood' of biological parents?

And not just parents. What is needed is empathy and anybody can be related to the other human being.
There's no mother-father, brother-sister, boy-girl distinction either. A small kid can tend to a big person like a parent and vice versa.

There's bad but there's so much good.

No i understood what you meant..I was just trying to explain why i made the post..In the context of the show, its probably pointless cos Ranvi will probably give in in no time 😆

Exactly! They will look for nothing but the best. (Not talking about the ones who get the daughters/sisters married for selfish reasons because Ranvi isn't like that)

Well said. According to me, empathy as a virtue is in short supply in this world. It is the most undervalued one, actually.

If all of us have at least some amount of empathy, we'd have no conflicts/wars at all. But I recognize that that is idealistic, and perhaps, impossible.

We are just moving in hypothetical circles now.😆
