Its almost like the writers can get away with any crap they dish out when it comes to Baldev and Veeba beacause Vishal will cover up for it with his awesomeness.
The writing of yesterday's scenes wasn't great. We have seen this in many shows. But Vishal makes a difference😳

Word..Vishal rises above the script and how..I have always felt that a lot of actors benefit thanks to the writing of the show..Lets take a Gul Khan show for example..I don exactly dig her way of narrating a story but then i admit hers hows are my guilty pleasure & she writes the 'falling in love' phase really well..In her shows, its the writing which elevates the scene..Not taking anything away from the actors but its the character and the writing which makes them look good..But in this case, its the actor who makes the character look good..You give him a reasonably good scene and he ends up making it really endearing thanks to the charm and innocence he lends to the character..

Nice post! 😊 vishal is truly perfect in every way as baldev. 😳 his love and concern for veera would make any of us girls wish we meet a guy who loves us like baldev loves veera.

There is definitely something in vishal which makes us go crazy over Baldev even if he's a grey shaded guy! There's something more to Baldev than what meets the eyes, which is so flawlessly played by Vishal... Yesterday's episode made me feel for him., I had tears when i recollected how heartbroken when he was when he found out that she was pretending to be in love😭 The same guy now is shattered to see her in pain❤️

True..Like my friend once said, Baldev is the kinda guy who doesn't expect much in love..You give him puppy eyes and he'l bring you the moon😆 But the problem is that Veera is yet to see this side of Baldev..Now i wish we see some progress from her side as well..About time..

Vishal... All I can say about him is "Maybe I'm amazed". (As Paul McCartney so famously said). I didn't expect to be amazed when I first saw Vishal. I thought he was super hot, but that he would be this irresistible? I never thought that!! This went way beyond my expectations. So I AM amazed!!

It is all down to the way he plays Baldev. The look in his eyes... The way he flinched when he realised that Veera was really hurt. The way he put that balm near the phone, without compromising on his tough guy image. Can anyone be more adorable?? In normal circumstances, HE would have been the one putting the ointment on her foot and carrying her around. Poor baby.

So I forgive you for gushing RR. Coz I am gushing too, and I hardly EVER do that. I am usually a very sensible lady!! Lol

Haha thats alright..I guess you must be really stonehearted if yesterday's epi dint melt your heart 😆 More than the chemistry or story progression, i have always looked forward to Baldev-Veera's love story primarily because i absolutely love the way he looks at her😆 And the best part is, Baldev is so giving in love..He doesn't really expect much from Veera..We might call him a jerk, MCP etc etc. but at the end of the day he wouldn't ever compel Veera to do household chores like a typical guy and would give her all the space she wants..Thats not how an MCP works..Its like he has certain rigid ideologies which he applies to the world at large but makes every exception possible for Veera..Thats exactly what makes him so endearing 😳😆

You are right. Gul Khan shows do have a very good writing style, direction and narration when it comes to the "falling in love" phase of a show. She excels at this and this is her forte. That is why I wrote in another post that Vishal should next sign a 4 Lions show, coz Lalit Mohan could direct him to the highest elevation. Vishal is so exceptional and he will bring out the best in the director, as opposed to the actor being the one benefitting.

If Vishal can elevate Baldev to this level with this writing, which is good, but let's admit, it's not Shakespeare... They imagine what he can do with people who actually excel at this genre? The subtlety of his expressions, and how he injects the right level of emotions to his dialogue is what makes every Baldev scene and especially VEEBA scenes so exceptional.

That is why we YAWN when we watch the saccharine sweet RANJAN scenes (no offence to people who like that), and we are floating on air just watching Baldev flinch when he sees veera in pain, or watch his gazing at a sleeping Veera with pure love!! In this case the ACTOR makes the scenes as opposed to the writer and the director.

But then her shows get ruined in 6 months time 😆 And she never shows a proper redemption track 😆 I have had two nightmarish experiences thanks to IPK & QH so am not sure if Vishal would benefit outta acting in a 4 Lions show😆 But then i admit her shows are really good for the first few months..She nails the 'falling in love' phase..And angst too..You know that scene where ASR gets to know Kushi is engaged? Thats one of my favorite scenes..I was just telling my friend yesterday that if there is a similar plot in Veera- say Veera gets engaged without Baldev's knowledge and he confronts her, even if that scene is half as good as the one i mentioned, i'd say purpose served 😆
