kind of weak sauce if you ask me...considering he's always been quite respectful of women...even Chai ji said this...he didn't even need to complete this third task...silly of Veera to even issue it...in my opinion.

This whole challenge track makes no sense and is such a stretch. I guess, it was for Veera to develop feelings for him?! It did kinda make sense after the writer's reply. But I would have preferred the writers taking another route than this.

This is exactly what I've been feeling!! You've put it down so well Siya (that's your name right?) 😃 Veera's outburst at Baldev was not motivated by her concern for him...it was because she was 'fed up' with his attentions. While I appreciate that she is getting frustrated, there should be some acknowledgement of the fact that Baldev, despite officially being her 'enemy', has always helped her out when she was in real need...and that's saying a lot for someone who is hot-headed and impulsive and a bit of a brat (actually who am I kidding...he's a total brat)! 😆 In all her recent plans...be it to set up the anniversary party for WantSuri, or trying to re-unite Ranjan, she has got Baldev to help her out and he has done so without question. Despite this, when she can see that he has laid his heart out bare in front of her, instead of having some patience with him or showing him the right way, she decides to taunt him, call him bewakoof at every instance and then hollers to him about not having an identity 😕 Forget friendship, but there appears to be no gratitude or remorse... 😭 Instead, after all that lecture of standing up on his own feet and proving to be someone, she is now comfortable openly spurning his only hope of being the sarpanch, which is his way of carving an identity for himself. Ratan, Chaiji, Balwant, Veera...everyone is happy to think Baldev as nakaara and nalayak and not zimmedaar enough...yet I see no one trying to do anything to help him see the right path or actually make something of his life. They will now try to ensure he doesn't become the sarpanch, thereby enraging him more and following this they will go back to treating him like the village clown (except on those occasions when they need his help for yet another fiasco) 😡

What? That is so lame! If Baldev didn't know their plan before defending Ratan, it could have made sense in one way. But, he did know. That changes the entire perspective.

Yes felix my name is Siya. I completely agree with you. All I want is Veera to respect him a bit!!! I don't even want her to be grateful, because Veeba relationship never had the flavor of typical sorry thank you formalities attached to it. She can be very straightforward with him and call a spade a spade. She can tell him as I am a BA degree holder or what so ever her qualification is, I would get married to a guy who is as educated as me or better off than me. It would be totally fair on her part to do that!!! "Pind ki koi bhi ladki tujhse shaadi kyun karenge???" As you know in the local pind culture arranged marriage setting monetary status of the groom plays a key part and that was the main reason for Ranvi being rejected as a potential groom for Gunjan. So from that perspective Baldev would inherit a lot from Balwant and there would be people ready to get their daughters married off to him. (Please note I do not mean to say Baldev should be jobless and enjoy the fruits of his ancestors, but according to the pindwaala yard stick he is not worthless as a groom!)

"Tera pehchaan kya hai?" dialogue was repeated umpteen number of times during MKC also. A person who has carved a niche for themselves in the society might have a voice to ask that. What exactly has Veera achieved in life except that degree of hers? The merit of that degree also to a great extend is due to the sacrifice of her Veerji. Veera clearly knows Baldev has never been inspired, still she seems to turn a blind eye.

Well no use of telling anything yaar, Baldev grey character hai, shaitaan hai, flawed hai toh chaahe kuch bhi ho jaaye wohh galat hi hoga sabkeliye!!!

Then I strongly disagree with numerous people pointing the fact that the support to Baldev is beacause of Vishal!!!! At least for me it is not the case, I got hooked to Baldev as a character and Vishal as Ayaan in his previous show CSI is yawningly boring for me even now, whereas I loved Shivin as Yuvraj in Suvreen Guggal, but here his character was not appealing for me!!! Vishal is playing Baldev impeccably I admit, but I would never blindly support a character because of the character playing it!!!
When I supported Baldev in this instance it was not a mere helicopter view, I had a holistic approach and that's the sole reason I vouch for him!!!
