Wowww everywhere I turn I can see praises being showered on Veera for giving Baldev a reality check. Really? Is she really worthy of accolades? After much introspection I somehow could not praise her act because the manner in which she handled him was not selfless!!! She clearly had altruistic motives in making that huge lecture!!!
Can't Veera see that beneath that mask of Baldev there is more than flesh, there is love and love is beyond reason!!!
Veera if you clearly knew what love means then you would have never ever fallen for a self centered person like Karan in first place. Secondly you were so engrossed in your personal life that you were totally oblivious to the fact that your family was suffering!! Now all this so called getting things back to track in the life of your brother was the by product of your attempt to somehow repay for all the good deeds they did for you, that keeps coming in her talks, "Mere beeji aur Veerji ne jo mere liye kiya uskeliye meri poori zindagi kam padegi!!!" Love is not about settling scores girl or repaying your loved ones for their sacrifice. Had Veera not known the truth about her birth would she have reacted this way???
Veera from day 1 has never ever given any sort of respect to Baldev. Have you ever heard of it Veera, "Give respect and take respect!!!" She physically assaults him, verbally abuses him. Questions his mardaangi, and calls him bewakoof without any heed. It was very much in her nature to question the veracity of a young man like Baldev who was nothing but truthfully blunt. He is an open book with no pretense. Baldev is what he is, no masks attached!!!
Laugh as much as you choose, but do not laugh at him who helped you at all your needy times. Who was concerned about you even as an enemy!!! Remember the scene infront of Dhaaba where Baldev was concerned about Veera going alone with Karan and he even warned Ranvi!!!
There are innumerable instances to prove that he was totally just and fair. Above all he never ever revealed the most sensitive truth in her life!!! Never allow yourself to be blinded by prejudice Veera!!!
Society and family has a claim on us all and before pointing fingers at Baldev why she has not even once taken a slightest effort to understand why he reacts or acts the way he does? Is it really impossible for Veera to conjecture the causes and circumstances which may have shaped Baldev the way he is?
I personally would have loved the lecture of Veera had she taken pain in understanding his upbringing, his environment and then tried to mend his ways. This lecture of her was nothing but frustration at herself for having a slight ripple in her heart for him, her way of shoving him away as if he is a parasite. I really hope that Veera understands that Baldev is not a parasite in her life but they share a symbiotic relationship!!!! Baldev deserves more than a lecture, he needs hope!!!
