Veera was back home now, and she was still amused thinking back to her encounter with Baldev at the market. Baldev thought Veera was after Puneet.
Veera (thinking to herself): "Yeh Baldev bhi na kya kya sochta rehta hai. Main aur Puneet sirf dost hai."
("This Baldev is too much. What all he thinks! Puneet and I are just friends.")
Ranvi called out to Veera.
Ranvi: "Veera, zara yahan aana. Mainu tujhse bahut zaroori baat karni thi."
("Veera, can you come here please. I have something important that I need to tell you.")
Veera went to go speak to her veerji, wondering what it was that Ranvi wanted to talk to her about.
Veera: "Ji veerji bataiye, ki hoya?"
("Yes brother, tell me what happened?")
Veera noticed that Ranvi looked very worried and serious.
Ranvi: "Veera, mainu pata hai ki woh Puneet pind vapis laut aaya hai. Maine usse aaj apne chamcho ke saath dekha. Mainu kuch theek nahin lag raha. Tu na usse door hi reh."
("Veera, I know that Puneet has returned to the village. I had seen him today with his sidekicks. I don't know why I felt like something was not right. You should stay away from him.")
Veera was surprised by Ranvi's reaction.
Veera: "Veerji, Puneet accha ladka hai. Jo saalo pehle hua, usmein Baldev ki galti thi, Puneet ki nahin. Puneet aur main sirf dost hai."

Ranvi was still not convinced.
Ranvi. "Phir bhi Veera. Meri khatir, tu Puneet se door reh. Pata nahin kyun mainu lagta hai ki voh kuch bura karne wala hai."

Veera realized that there was no point in trying to defend Puneet to Ranvi.
Veera: "Theekh hai veerji. Main Puneet se door rahungi."

Baldev, along with his chamchas, Jaggi and Billa were in the tea stall drinking tea when they saw Puneet and his sidekicks handing out what seemed like invitations to certain pind people.
Baldev: "Ae ki ho raha hai?"
("What's happening here?")
That's when Puneet and his sidekicks arrived and handed out the invites to Baldev and his chamchas as well.
Puneet (smiling): "Yeh le Baldev, mere ghar aaj raat party hai. Pind de saare munde kudiyaan nu maine bulaya hai. Tenu bhi aana padega."
("This is for you Baldev. I am having a party tonight in my house. I have invited all the young girls and guys of this village. You have to also come.")
Baldev smiled. He loved parties. He could never say no to one.
Baldev: "Haan, main zaroor aaonga."
("Sure, I will definitely be there.")
Puneet (smiled): "Changa! Toh aaj raat milte hai. Aur haan maine Veera ko bhi bulaya hai."
("Great! So I will see you tonight. And I have invited Veera as well.")
Baldev smiled, happy to know that Veera will be there. But then he started feeling angry. Once again, Baldev couldn't help but think that Veera was leading Puneet on, and he didn't like that. He also got irritated at Puneet for being friends with Veera. Baldev could only see Veera talk to one guy and that was him.
Back in Veera's house...
Despite everything that Ranvi had said, and Veera had tried to stay away from Puneet, she couldn't stay away from him long. He bumped into her during the day while she was at the internet caf and he had invited her to a party that he was throwing.
Veera (thinking to herself): "Ab main ki karaan? Sab log party main honge. Mainu bhi party main hona chahiye."
("Now, what will I do? Everyone will be at the party. I want to go to the party too.")
Veera took a deep breath and decided that she would talk to Ranvi and try to convince him. She had already thought of a plan.
Ranvi was sitting in his room, working on some paperwork for the land, when Veera walked in.
Ranvi smiled.
Ranvi: "Veera, ki hoya?"
("Veera, what happened?")
Veera: "Woh veerji...aapko pata hai aaj raat Pritampura mein badi party hone ja rahi hai Puneet ke ghar. Sab munde aur kudiyan honge vahan. Aur waise bhi Gunjan bhabhi ko bhi bahut accha lagega."
("Oh brother... you know tonight Pritampura is going to witness a huge party at Puneet's house. All the young guys and girls will be there. And anyway Gunjan sister in law will also like it very much.")
When Veera mentioned Gunjan's name, Ranvi began to smile. He remembered how much his wife, Gunjan likes these parties. And plus if he went to this party, he could watch over Veera.
