Ranvi reached balwants house.. and as they were about to enter.. he tried to make sure he looked his best and his hair was in place.. accompanying them was dalveer , his best friend and the wellwisher.. he was there to be by his best friend in his most happy time..
Balwant was at the door to welcome ranvi , ratan and family.. he came forward and hugged ranvi .. " aaj mainu vaddi khushi ho rahi hai ranvi.. meri bati da vyah mere yaar sampooran ke puttar ke saath tai ji hone wali hai.. kaash who ithe hota to kitna khush hota"
Ranvi smiles at balwants words.. he bends down and takes balwants blessings.. he blesses ranvi and says " mainu yakeen nahi ho raha.. ke gunjan aur ranvi inne bade ho gaye hain.. aur aaj apni khudki nayi zindagi ki shuruaat karna wale hai"
He takes them all inside and makes them sit on the sofa..
Baldev also present.. he isn't too happy..but he is fine cos its for gunjans happiness... so he tries to keep his and ranvi's differences aside and smiles at him.. and gets his friends to serve them something to eat and drink..
Bansuri comes down smiling and folds her hand and welcomes them.. " sasriyakal ji.. maaf karna.. woh main na gunjan nu tayyar kar rahi thi.. yeh aaj kal ki kudiyan na bahut waqt laga ti hai tayyar hone main.. aur ranvi puttar.. tera kheto da kaam kaisa chal raha hai.."
Ranvi folds his hands and smiles back at bansuri..
Ratan speaks up " balwant tayaji.. ab inn baccho ne ek dooje nu pasand kar hi liya hai.. to mainu lagta hai ki inke byah ke liye der nahi karni chahiye.. jaldi hi roke ki rasam ki tareek nikal lete hain aur uske baad byah ki bhi"
Ranvi feels happy and balwant smiles too.. he then asks bansuri " arre gunjan kithe hain bansuri ji.. uski shaadi hai.. use bhi yahan ke aayiye"
Gunjan appears there with a tray of tea.. she is looking divinely beautiful in her pink salwar... ranvi just couldn't keep his eyes of her..she looks up at everyone.. but she doesn't have much of a smile on her face.. she looks very scared and confused.. ranvi does notice it and smiles at her..
She slowly hands over tea cups to everyone and goes and stands on a side..
Balwant says " haan gunjan puttar.. hum yehi bat kar rahe the.. ki roke ki tareek na jaldi hi pakki kar lete hain. Aur phir byah bhi jaldi hi .."
Ratan interrupts.. "agar aap kahe to 2 din baad sagaai ki rasam kar lete hain.. waise bhi humare to jyada parivaar wale hain nahi.. aur phir ranvi aur gunjan to ek doosre ko bachpan se jaante hain.. to waqt kyu barbad karna.."
Gunjan doesn't say a word.. and she is just standing still and quiet...
Ranvi is trying to read her mind.. as she isn't looking very happy.. it was seeming like something was bothering her..
Suddenly gunjan looks into ranvi's eyes.. and he asks her what by a gesture...
She turns away her eyes and doesn't say anything.. ranvi is confused..
Balwant is happy " haan ratan parjayi ji .. yeh sahi rahega.. to do din baad sagaai achi rahegi.. kyu gunjan puttar" he asks looking at gunjan..
She is standing still and in some deep thought.. she doesn't answer..
Balwant is bit confused.. he gets up and goes to gunjan and puts his hand around her shoulder.. " puttar ki hua.. do din baad sagaai theek hai na?" he questions again..
She doesn't answer.. and she looks at bansuri who gives a cold stare to her..
Gunjan gathers some courage to talk.. and she speaks up.. " who papaji.. who yeh vyah nahi karna chahti.."
Everyone is shocked by what she is saying..
Balwant is very shocked.. and he asks " kya?? Yeh ki keh rahi tu gunjan.."
Gunjan moves balwants hand away and says " mainu ranvi se shaadi nahi karni.."
Ranvi is taken aback.. he cant believe that gunjan is saying all this..
Ratan questions her.. " par gunjan.. tu aur ranvi to ek doosre se pyar karte ho na.. aur isi wajeh se to hum yeh rishta karne aaye hain.. agar tujhe ranvi se shaadi nahi karni thi to hume itthe bulaya kyun?"
Bansuri interrupts.." bas ratan.. meri beti nu itna sawaal karne ka koi haq nahi hai tujhe.. isne kahan na isse ranvi se byah nahi karna to nahi karna bas"
But ranvi speaks up " par mainu to sawaal karne da haq hai na.. kyuki yahaan sirf gunjan ki baat nahi ho rahi.."
He goes up to gunjan " gunjan.. mainu das ki baat hai.. kal tak to tu yehi chahti thi na ki hum byah kar le aur pooru zindagi ek saath guzaare.. to ab achanak ki hua.. mainu bata"
Gunjan tries to hold her emotions and speaks up. " ranvi mainu tujhse shaadi nahi karni.. aur mein tujhse shaadi kyu karoon.. mere bhi kuch sapne hai arman hai.. mainu videsh jaana hai.. aur yeh sapna tere saath kabhi poora nahi ho sakta mainu pata hai" she looks with anger into his eyes..
Ranvi feels very heart broken.. he just lets go of her.. he moves back.. and doesn't say a word more.. he folds his hand to balwant and walks out of their house and goes away..
Ratan chaiji and veera are very shocked.. they too just just walk away..
Balwant folds his hand in an apology .. he doesn't say a word to gunjan and he just goes away..
Bansuri comes near gunjan.. but she doesn't speak to her and runs upstairs to her room..

Ranvi goes home and into his room and locks it from inside..
Ratan chaiji and veera come and start knocking at the door.. he shouts back " beeji chaiji.. mainu kuch der ke liye akela chod dijiye"
They are very worried.. but chaiji asks ratan to calm down and wait for ranvi to respond..
Ranvi sits down on his bed and starts remembering what all gunjan said.. he couldn't believe that she did this.. why did she agree to his proposal and then reject it like this.. did she not know all this before she agreed to marry him..
He was furious and in tears.. he opens his cupboard and removes her photo and sees it.. he decides to tear it off.. but then something just stops him from doing so.. he takes the gift he had bought for her andalong with the photo he puts it into the drawer and locks it..
He takes his mandolin and walks away.. everyone tries to stop him but he just walks away from the house..

On the other hand..
Gunjan enters her room and sits in front of the mirror.. she keeps looking at herself and remembers her words to ranvi that she had just told...
Suddenly she gets very angry and throws all her makeup items down and breaks them all.. and she takes a vase and breaks the mirror in anger..
She goes near her window and breaks down in tears.. " mainu maaf kar de ranvi..mainu maaf kar de"
She then remembers what had happened a little while ago..
When she had got dressed and ready.. bansuri enters the room..
Gunjan sees her with a smile.. " kaisi kag rahi hoon main beeji.. yeh jhumke inn kapdo ke saath theek hai na?" she asks
Bansuri is not very interested.. " gunjan.. ae jhumke di gal chod.. mainu yeh bata.. kit era dimaag kya ghaas charne gaya hai?? Jo tu uss ranvi ke saath byah karna chahti hai?"
Gunjans expressions change.. " beeji.. yeh kikeh rahi hai.. mainu ranvi pasand hai.. hum dono ek doosre nu bahut chahte hain"
Bansuri makes an irritated expression.. " gunjan.. yeh tu ki keh rahi hai.. tera sapna to kisi ni munde se byah karne da tha na.. to ab yeh ranvi kahan se aa gaya beech mein?? "
Gunjan tries to explain " par beeji.."
" bas gunjan.. tu itni swarthy kab se ho gayi.. tu apne veer nub hi bhool gayi?" bansuri questions " maine bhi kya kya sapne dekh ke rakhe the apne baccho de waaste.. kit u kisi nri munde se byah karegi aur tere saath saath mere baldev ka bhi bhala ho jayega aur who bhi videsh jaa kar apne liye kuch bana lega.. magar tu sab kiye karaye pe pani daalne jaa rahi hai"
Gunjan is in tears par beeji.. mainu nahi pata mujhe koi nri chahiye ya nahi.. mainu ranvi pasand hai.. aur mein iss byah se bahut khush rahoongi"
Bansuri gets very irritated " theek hai gunjan.. agar tujhe apni beeji se itna hi pyar hai to jaa kar le uss ranvi se shaadi.. par uske baad kabhi mujhse ya apne veer se baat mat karna.. yeh samjh lena ki teri beeji mar gayi tere liye"
She says and walks away.. gunjan tries to stop her to talk to her.. but bansuri doesn't give two hoots abt gunjan and goes away..
Gunjan starts to weep in her room not knowing what to do.. cos he knows ranvi and his family are on the way..
Gunjan keeps crying on the floor.. she remembers all her moments with ranvi.. and his proposal.. and how happy she was to live her whole life with him.. but everything has gone a big mess now.. she is left fully confused and shattered..
