Baldev wept his heart out,until he was completely numb..

And then as he watched the night get deeper and darker,he finally stood up..

Wiping away the last evidence of his pain off his cheeks and eyes,he inhaled a long steadying breath..The cool calm night air calmed him a lot..

That was when hedecided that it was time he moved on..

So with sure steady steps he turned to leave for his house..

He had to move on at any cost..

No matter what happened..

Baldev had just walked halfway to his house when he heard someone behind him..

He stopped and turned to check but finding no one continued again..

His mind was completely blank..

Even the pain tearing at his insides could not make him feel anything at that moment..

He felt that something had completely died inside him.

And then he had heard something behind him again.

Baldev was completely attuned to the noise now,and then as he perked up his ears,he heard the noise again..

Someone was following him..

And then when he heard the footsteps again,almost close he hid himself behind a stack of hay nearby..

He could see the shadow of the intruder on the ground due to the muted street lights.

So he got ready to pounce..

Just before the intruder would take another step,he pounced on him from his hiding place,and pushed him against the haystack..

A muffled scream escaped the intruder's lips,and Baldev angrily covered his mouth,he noticed it was not a he but a she..And not just any she but a she with a capital S.SHE!!!

"VEERA!!!TU?!!Inni raat ko Bhooto ki tarha ithte kiu ghum rahi hai?!

[VEERA!!!YOU?!!Where are you prowling here so late at night like a ghost?!!]" He exclaimed out his surprise.

Veera did not reply but made some odd noises from her mouth..

"Ki kaha tune..?Thik se bolna?!

[What did you say..?Say it properly?!]"

Again she made some odd noises,and then pointed with her large eyes to his hand.And that was when he realised he was still covering her mouth.

He instantly removed his hand off her mouth,but his hard body was still pressed against hers,as he waited for her response..

Breathing heavily she finally gave him a weak smile,making hos numb heart wake up and start thudding fast,as if it had just sniffed fresh tea..

"Tujhe hi dhund rha tha main..Wo-..

[I was lookingjust for you..That-..]"She seemed to try to remember something,and bit on her full bottom lip,and Baldev felt he was hit hard on the solar plexus.

His breathing became heavy as he realised he was pressed hard and close up against her soft sweet scented body..

His body was reacting fast to her closeness,his manhood hardening fast,as his stupid pulse throbbed faster..

"Baldeva.."Veera's soft voice made him drag his eyes reluctantly into hers.But he was not at all disheartened by the confusion he saw in hers..

Her large dark eyes looked wider,her pupils dialated,and Baldev could clearly see she was breathing hard and fast too.

Was she affected the same way by him the way she was by her..?

With that thought he pushed his hard body closer to hers,and sure enough she gasped out,and instead of pushing him away,her hand went up to hold his collar..The act made her soft fingers brush against his hot skin,and Baldev felt his muscles clench in response..

He moved his head closer to hers,and she inhaled another shaky breath..

Her sweet warm breath against his lips was making his blood sing out in need..

He wanted more..

He wanted to.,His hand moved towards her waist,to touch her and..

Suddenly Baldev pushed her away from him and turned to leave..

How could he forget that she was had refused his proposal and was going to get married to that son of a-..

"Baldeva..?RUK JA!

[Baldeva..?STOP!]"Veera called out from behind him,but Baldev was in no mood to listen.

Veera walked along the lonely streets of Pritampura,close to the junge lost in her confusing and sad thoughts..

The entire day she had looked for Baldev,but strangely he was nowhere around..

Finally she was informed by an irritated looking Bansuri that Baldev had left for some friend's wedding in a nearby village and won't be back before two days..

Two days..It seemed like an eternity for her..

She did not know why she was pining for him like this and so eager to see a glimpse of him and talk to him..But she just did..

Suddenly the world seemed like a boring and useless place without him..Her Baldeva..

Her heart nearly stopped at the thought..

What did she just think..?!

The thought had not crossed her mind when she heard a car screech to a halt beside her.

With a warm smile she turned round to see him..Baldev had returned after all!

But then when her eyes took in the menacing looking angry young man,the smile left her lips,her heart stopped in fear,and she took a scared step backwards towards the jungle,as the young man got out of the car and started strolling towards her with strong meaningful steps..

Veera stepped back more,and yet he came nearer,and it seemed he meant business..And somehow Veera did not have a very good feeling about this..

With scared eyes she looked around to see if there was someone who could help her if she needed it..And as the menacing figure came closer forcing her to step deeper into the forest she realised there was no one around and she was truly trapped and for good..
