CHAPTER-14.

Veera locked her door and took out her diary..

There it was..

She took the pen and started remembering the incident and writing it out at the same time..

Dear Diary,

I had left abruptly last time,when Tayaji called me..I mean Beeji..

I ended where I said Baldev had called me up to meet me..Then he took me for a ride in his jeep to..To nowhere in particular.

It had been hours and we were just driving round roads,while I waited for him to say something.He had been strangely quiet that day.

And then I saw a place that seemed strangely familiar by the forests,and screamed at him to stop..Now that I think about it,it was really funny the way I screamed at him to stop,and the way he got scared and screeched to a halt.

But at that time,I don't know what had happened to me,but I strangely felt I had come to the place and something was pulling me inside..

I was off and out of the jeep in a jiffy,and running into the forest,as a worried Baldev called out from behind and followed me in..

Now that I think of it,it was the same place I saw in my dream..It was the same path I took in my dream too.

I had just reached the clearing,and there I saw the cottage I had seen in my dreams so many times..

I was about to walk forward and enter it..I felt something was beckoning me towards it..As if the cottage itself was calling me..

But then Baldev had stopped me..He pulled me away from the place,and as I struggled to explain to him,that I needed to enter the cottage..He said he had gotten me out for a reason..

And as I stared confused at him,he knelt down on his knees and proposed to me..

That was the day my life changed..

At first I did not know how to react,and I did not reply that day too..

It was days after,when he had started avoiding me,as if embarrassed by his own proposal and my silence..

And it was during those days that I became restless,and felt he meant more to me than I was ready to accept..

It was when taiji had started talking about his marriage,I could not take it anymore..I asked him to meet me..He was hesitating,but then at my forcing he agreed..

And then I went to meet him,and..

I don't want to write about it,but you can understand what I mean..

Okay I think I should end it here today..

Veera closed her diary and locked it up again..But not before she closed her eyes to remember the day she had told him about her feelings for him..

Not far away Baldev sat alone by the fields,leaning against a tree,watching the fading sunlight lost in his thoughts of his wife..

It was getting more and more difficult for him to keep away from her.It had always been a problem for him all the time.

He had rarely been able to keep away from her.Like the day she had told him she loved him..

Baldev walked with shaky legs to the clearing by the well in the forest.His heart beating like anything..He was not sure what she wanted to tell him,but he was scared to hear it..

He knew she did not like him,but..But all these days he had been trying to act it did not matter,but maybe today she would refuse him full on his face..

More than her refusal Baldev was afraid how he would keep himself away from her..

With racing heart,he approached her..She was standing with her back turned to him..

Baldev inhaled a sharp breath,as he could not help but study her slender back and open silky locks..She had worn a red and green kameez and shalwar suit,and his heart beat fast as he tried to imagine what she might be looking in it..

He cleared his voice and called her name..His voice sounded strange even to his own ears.

Quickly he changed his expression to one of damn care and bored look,as she turned to face him. But the moment she did turn,he hitched in a sharp breath,and tried to neutralise his expression fast.How could someone look so ethereal with mere kajal..?It was what girls put in their eyes called,wasn't it?

He tried to think,but his thought process got blocked as she took a step towards him.

He took a step back,scared to think what might happen if she did come close..

Her fruity perfume was already teasing at his senses,and the way she was looking at him was heating up his blood fast.He knew it was all imagination of his overactive mind,that she was probably giving him the look she gave a cockroach,but his overwrought mind had changed it to something completely else for its convenience..But he just could not.

The more he stepped back,the more she came near..

And Baldev finally found himself backed up against a tree trunk..He gulped down a knot of tension,deciding how he should move away and make it seem normal at the same time..After he was the Sher of Pritampura wasn't he?

He had finally stood straight,and decided to stand his ground,when she walked real close to him,and pulled him closer by pulling at his collar.

Her eyes were burning with a strange light..And that expression on her face,he just could not read it or understand it at all.

"Tu mujhse dur kiu bhaag raha hai?Main kya tujhe khaa jaungi?!

[Why are you running away from me?!Will i eat you alive?!]"She snapped out angrily.

Baldev studied her angry expression for a few seconds,as he hitched in another sharp breath..How could someone look so beautiful in anger too..?!The red blobs on her creamy cheeks made him want to kiss her over there..What would happen if he did just that?How would she react if he curved his arms round her,and placed kisses all over her angry red face..?

He quickly tried to compose himself,and put on a sham laughter..

"Dur bhagunga?Aur wo bhi tujhse?!Ye ki anap shanap bak rahi hai tu Veera?!

[I will run away?And that also from you?!What nonsense are you talking about Veera?!]"He laughed out and pulled her hands free from his collar.

He took a step back,and tried to inhale a secret long breath of relief,which got stuck in the middle as she again came close to him,and this time plastered her body up against his,as he was pushed up against a tree trunk.

"Tainu ki lagda hai?!Main tere tarha Bewakoof hun?!Mainu kuch samajh nai aati?!

[What do you think?!I am a Stupid like you?!I don't understand anything?!]"She hissed out angrily,breathing fire against his neck..

If Baldev was not aware of her so much physically,he would have thought a smart answer out,but to his utter dismay his thigh muscles were tightening in response to her standing so close to him..

His every muscles and sinews craved for closer contact to her soft sweet smelling mouth watering body,and yet he held bach,clenching his hands into tight fists,in order to keep himself from touching her.

"Tu ki-..

[What are-..]"

"Itte dino se tujhse baat karna chah rahi hu,aur tu mujhe vekh ke hi lapaata ho jata hai!!!Aur tu shaadi kar raha hai..?!

[I am dying to talk to you for so many days,and you vanish evrytime you see me!!!And you are getting married..?!]"

Married..?!He was getting married?!When?!How?!Why?!!

"Bol?!Jawab kiu nai deta?!Kar raha hai na?!

[Tell me?!Why aren't you answering?!You are,aren't you?!]"She hissed out,her lips so close to his.

Baldev's body tightened in reaction,and he decided to escape this turmoil of emotions and that also fast.

"Haan!Kar raha hu main shaadi!To?!Tainu ki farak painda?!Meri maarzi!Main jisse chahu shaadi karu,das yara bachche paida karu!Tainu ki?!

[Yes!I am getting married!So?!What does it matter to you?!My wish!I can get married to whomever I want,give birth to ten eleven children!What does it matter to you?!]"He gritted out angrily..Seriously this girl was the limit..!

When he proposed her,she does not answer and says she does not feel the same,and now she comes accusing her of marriage!Like as if getting married was a crime these days!

Baldav had looked away while snapping at him,and so did not notice the tears well up in her eyes,and when he did it was too late..

She pulled him up closer,with a strong tug..Her tear glazed eyes burning into his..

"MAINU FARAK PARDA HAI!!!PARDA HAI MAINU FARAK!!!

[IT MATTERS!IT MATTERS TO ME!!!]"She screamed out,amking his heart stop at her words..

But strangely he felt choked and was not satisfied with that only.

"Kiu Veera..?Kiu parda farak tainu..?Main to teri dushman hu na..?

[Why Veera..?Why does it matter to you..?I am your enemy am I not..?]"He said softly..His dark eyes searching hers for the answer he desperately sought in hers.

She inhaled a sharp breath,and was about to let go of his collar,when his hands closed over hers,keeping it there.

"Kiu Veera..?

[Why Veera..?]"His soft question seemed to echo in the surrounding deserted area.

"KIU KI MAINU PYAAR HO GAYA HAI TUJHSE BEWAKOOF!!!PYAR KARTI HU MAIN TAINU!!!

[BECAUSE I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH YOU,YOU STUPID!!!I LOVE YOU!!!]"She sobbed out..

The world tilted on its axis,and everything seemed to quieten up at her declaration.

Even the birds seemed to have stopped chirping round them,as if they were too stunned by her declaration.

Baldev stared into her brimming eyes,as tears ran down her cheeks,his heart which had seemed to have stopped beating for a second or two,now beating real fast..

She was moving away,trying to set her hand free,but Baldev did not let her go.

He pulled her into his hold,his arm encircling round her slender waist,so that she was trapped in his embrace.

She was breathing fast too,and a blush was spreading across her creamy cheeks making her look more beautiful than ever.

"Phir se bol..?Ki kaha tune..?

[Tell me again..?What did you say..?]"He whispered softly,his eyes gowing with tenderness,his chest strangely constricted with an ocean of feelings..

"Main tainu..Main tainu pyaar karti hun..

[I..I love you..]"She whispered softly,as she flushed tomato red..

She opened her mouth to say something else,but Baldev did not let her,as he hugged her tight,in a tight squishy hug,making all the breath leave her body..

And then he pulled back to look into her eyes..His eyes glowing with all the love and tenderness in the world mixed with undeniable yearning.

And as Veera opened her mouth to say something again,her words were drowned in her throat,as his warm lips closed over hers,stunning her into stillness.

He kissed her endlessly,moving his lips away once to whisper how much he loved her,and went on kissing her..

To him she tasted like heaven,and more..He had been dreaming of doing this for so long now,and now that he was finally able to kiss her,he could not fathom how he could have kept himself away from her for so long..

His body hardened in need,as he pulled her soft pliant body closer,and he went on devouring her sweet juicy full lips loving the taste of them as he licked and sucked on them like a hungry man who had been deprived too long.

"Baldev..?"He called out softly,and he groaned out against her lips,not ready to stop now or ever..

She had finally said the words that he had been dying to hear for an endless painful era..How could he let go of her now..?

"Baldeva ki kar raha hai?!Sun na?!

[Baldeva what are you doing?!Listen?!]"

He was shoved against the shoulder,and he turned around abruptly,resulting the vision from his memory land right into his lap.

He stared into her beautiful wide eyes,her flushed rosy skin,her open locks blowing in the wind,and then moved lower to her soft bottom lip,which she was biting with her teeth..

Baldev's body was already hardened rigid at the memory of that kiss which he remembered so vividly,and now he suddenly wanted it in reality..

She was holding onto the front of his kurta for support,as she lay in his lap..

And then as if realising the embarrassing position they were in out in the open,she tried to move..

Her soft bottom brushing against his rigid manhood,unintentionally but erotically.

And Baldev lost his control,as he grabbed her head,his fingers sinking into her heavy hair at the nape as he did so,he placed his mouth on hers for a hot searing earth shattering kiss..
