Gunjan got up and looked around, she felt the music which she loves is fading away, mesmerized by its notes she started walking towards it but her eyes still in search of Ranvi, something had told her that Ranvi would be somewhere near and not in her house where almost all the pind is there to celebrate her wedding!!

Back there in the middle of the fields sat Ranvi, his thoughts completely lost on Gunjan, he was wondering of all those time from childhood till now on he had spend with her. His eyes welled up as he thought of Gunjan.

"Gunjan" he uttered her name softly under breath and felt the beauty of it!

Now what is of his life he thought, he can never marry anyone else, he knows that!

"Jaha bhi ho bas khush raho" he smiled saying it to himself and thought of the happy jovial face of Gunjan.

The vibrancies in her face when she knew she was going to marry NRI, the happiness when she knew her dream is going to come true and utmost happiness in the hope of finding love and happiness in a far away land which is beyond one thought in Pritampura.

When Gunjan is happy he is also happy.

He looked around and felt the silence around him which lies as a total contrast to the bustling noise and cheers in Gunjan's house. He stretched himself and closed his eyes.

Gunjan dressed in bridal attire, one of the most beautiful bride he have ever seen or will ever seen, smiling happily came to his mind.

A pang in his heart, a pain of losing her irked him, no matter how happy you tried to be when your love is lost it hurts and yes it hurts very badly.

He wished not to see her leaving but his not being there would hurt Gunjan and he never wants Gunjan to be hurt no matter what and slowly he got up.

He looked up the sky and saw the moon, fully bright and shining!

There seemed a peace in the beauty of moon he felt.

The baarat might be there, he thought and wiping out dust from his dress he made few slow steps ahead.

He stopped abrupt as he sensed someone was coming behind him!

A breathless call he felt and turned back to see Gunjan standing right beside him, breathing heavily after running and striving hard for words to come!

He signaled her to take time but looked at her in utter confusion!

First thought which came to him was that of maybe he is dreaming Gunjan! But no he felt her; he could see her and also feel her presence!!!

After few seconds of silence Ranvi asked "Gunjan tu ithe ka karre?"

"Meinu pata ki Woh tu hai Jo roz gaata hai, meinu yeh bhi pata hai Woh tuhi hai Jo har janamdin par meko chupi se tofa dete chala jaata hai, meko sab pata hai Ranvi"

Ranvi looked at her dumbstruck as if how she knew all this!!! His mouth was open and he was too shocked and surprised to question her when suddenly Gunjan hugged him!

Ranvi was lost for words, he felt he was dreaming and all this is illusion!

Slowly breaking the hug, Gunjan looked at him, her eyes welled up.

"Mein terse yeh poochne arre the ki mein khush kyun nahi hu, meko pata hai, mera sapna hai ki mein NRI munde se biyaah karu, par jab yeh shaadi hone wale hai meko khushi nahi horra, mereko aisa lagra jaisa mein apni khushi kahi chod ke jaare hu"

Gunjan paused for breath and then again looked at Ranvi, he was still standing there clueless not able to internalize what is happening!

"Tu ithe bait Ranvi" she said and pulled him down to sit!

"Par Gunjan..." Ranvi started buts he signaled him to stop and she continued explaining to him!

When Gunjan was walking with the flow of the music in search of Ranvi she felt a sudden realization, a thought struck her which made her pause. She stopped walking and sat down to hear the song as each word entered from her ear to her heart she was feeling the familiarity of the voice, with each verse she was getting closer in understanding that the singer whom she had been admiring for ages is no one other than her best friend Ranvi!

She paused!!! Her thoughts and her motion!!!

Silently she pondered!!! Why is Ranvi here, in the middle of fields singing a sad melancholy!

Her thoughts drifted to Ranvi and she remembered all those days she had spent with him! Every time Ranvi was there for her when no one was there! Even when her mother insulted her and her father kept silent there was Ranvi for her! Why was he there for her, because he was her friend? She thought! No!!! Her heart said but she was not yet ready to believe!

He alone knows what she loves the most just like that person who always gifts her who gifts her what she likes on her birthday, she thought and smiled!

OH MY GOD!!! She thought, her mouth gaped!! IS IT RANVI!!! YES! He had never gifted her anything!! HOW CAN I BE SUCH FOOL look came to her face and tears started pouring down her welled up eyes!!!

"Sachi bol Ranvi, woh tu hi the na?" but she never wanted to hear an answer! She now very well knows it's him!

"Ranvi," she looked at him..."meinu pata hai meri khushi kaha hai"

He looked her, a feeble smile on his lips as he waited for her to continue!!!

"Mein tenu pyaar kardi"

A complete silence passed as they both looked into each other's eyes totally lost!!!
