All of the pind lit up, festive jovial energetic mood was set. People all around were having great time talking of this dream alliance, talking, envying and admiring Gunjan.
It's been long since the people of Pritampura had seen such a festive celebration! Everyone were happy for some reason or other some for Gunjan and many because they are excited to see a big wedding which is to happen!!!
As happiness, positivity and goodness were spreading around in heart of people, there seemed to be fading of happiness, excitement and thrill in someone's heart.
Gunjan!
She who was the happiest on being seeing her dream of marrying NRI coming true started fearing as the day of the marriage was approaching.
She felt something was pulling her back, she wondered why she is not being able to be happy?
What is making her a step back she thought! But she shrugged away her thoughts and put on a smile. She acted as if she is the happiest person on earth but always her eyes said something else.
There always a pain! The same pain which she held from childhood!
She thought of those words Ranvi had once said of what she portrays is not the real Gunjan! She felt the same today! As she danced and smiled and laughed with rest she felt it is not the real Gunjan who is laughing and smiling! The real Gunjan who is hiding behind this made up face was yearning for something! Something ethereal, something that can give her real happiness and true joy!
There is no happiness in being known as the wife of some unknown NRI she thought but then something stuck and she felt she is not supposed to think like this! Beeji had only thought me good things so when she says what is good it ought to be right? She said to her but she herself knew what the answer was!
Draped in one of the most beautiful wedding dress, adorned with heavy jewels she sat down on a chair, kept her head low and wondered! She recollected her life from childhood to what is today. A visit to past in search of what she is longing for! A search to find herself back!
Everything in past seemed bleak except for one! Ranvi! Alas!
"Ranvi" she muttered under her breath!
He was the one who was with her, for her always she thought and sighed!!!
