When the king is openly challenged he can't back off. That's one.

I don't think at this juncture chacha is thinking of anything like rnj getting killed. He knows avdesh will not be easy like rnj to try and get rid of.

It's not rnjs fault rather the writer is altering the script to suit to glorify RGD. So who knows maybe as sid said only RM and Gayathri will get rid of this villain

Yes it's indeed a big question that Sid may want to quit if rnj is sidelined time and again.

Whoever is in Twitter please convey all these to Nilanjana. I want my rnj back. Enough if Gayathri glorification.

A big ceremony, lot of efforts have been made to make it larger than life with aerial acts etc.., gotta give them that, they should be careful with the script and the dialogues though, some of them are very suggestive and besharmi ki hight!

Performances by all stars were really nice and enjoyable, the performance by Siddhart and Roshni from Jamai Raja, I don't think it's an appropriate performance for an awards ceremony which will be watched by families on sunday night in the prime time, Raga's performance was way more classy (I would still cut two moves from it 😆)! I mean the other one was definitely not about love but rather about libido!

I don't think these people are stupid, at least the ones who wrote the script for anchors! I mean it was a parody where many things were criticized in a funny way but under the comic facade to make people laugh there were some relevant points to ponder on

Sid and DD looked out of this world, a gorgeous couple, their attires were really classy, tuxedo with a red bow and a red saree. Even while joking Sid had the royal posture of Ranaji!!! he looked classy and handsome even in the funny parts!

On this note I think I should tell for whomever might care (Dear Sim mainly who is the one who braked my first break🤗) that I'll take a break from ETR2 Forum, I have some important work to do which is the main reason, also forum is time consuming, I end up writing essays!!! and I also feel like I'm just repeating myself!! Forum also isn't that active, sometimes people seem desinterested, and at times you feel like you just waste your time!

Have nice time, hope we interact soon! 😊

Missing you @arshisfan.. now a days lack of interest in the show because of lack of romance...

Najat - will miss your posts.

Forum is not active because serial is not inspiring enough. For me, too much of bashing of the female character eventually leads to bashing of the FL, which eventually leads to fan wars, am really not interested in all that. I had enough of it in my previous serial. ETR does'nt seem to be helping in any way.

Yesterday for me, if RGD called RNJ bewaqoof, he also turned around and asked if she did'nt have faith in him...which she deserved. But he did'nt keep quiet and take it. RGD got alarmed that he misunderstood, but he stood his ground.

Even during the sword fight with Wilkinson, RM asked him to stop because she cared more for his life, than his honour. I actually love the fact that Ranaji is such an honest, straight person. And it is Sid who gives RNj that air of righteousness and total class, with generations of good breeding behind him. 👏 . And Gayatri is supposed to be 'unrefined', as Nilanjana put it.

If only this conflict between them is explored further, it would be interesting. But the creatives are clearly not interested in exploring or establishing RAGA. That is annoying.

About Sid, he does seem frustrated, and resigned to his role. But I don't think DD signed up for a typical bahu role of this variety.. either. They both started off with something else, and have ended up with something totally different. And we as viewers have seen the change in focus over the past 3 months.

BTW, Priya Tandon is in her hometown getting married. 😃

Liked the episode.

RNJ looked classy G looked so beautiful. Advesh is screaming too much. He is taking a lot of effort to deliver each dialogues. His bg near G doesn't suits him according to me. Avdesh is not a king like spoiler suggested, if he is then where is his army?

As expected, G stops RNJ from piercing Avdesh's heart with his spear...! She distracts Avdesh earlier and saves RNJ's life...! But of course, it has to be about her! I wonder how RNJ survived World War II in her absence...!

Anyway, I am a bit confused here...if it is wrong of RNJ to jeopardize the interests of his state by accepting Avdesh's challenge, wasn't it wrong of him to challenge Wilkison to a duel to uphold his Queen's honour...or is the Queen's honour worth upholding and not that of the State?

We can't have two sets of rules for two similar situations...!

Wooster, when Ranaji challenged Wilkinson to a duel (or was it the other way around? I am a bit hazy on the details), Rani Gayatri Devi was under the influence of the drugs, right? She fainted in a swoon a little while later and was escorted to her chamber by Swarnalekha. Later, when the duel was underway (or was about to commence), she regained consciousness. When Swarnalekha informed her of the duel, she was horrified and rushed off only to find Ranaji and Wilkinson duelling with the latter having the upper hand.

So, it is likely that had she been in her senses and not under the influence of drugs, she would probably probably have been just as horrified. All things being equal, there likely would have been the same set of rules for similar circumstances.

PS: It was around this time that I started following the series slightly more regularly than earlier. But, I hope that memory serves me right.

Re the sequence of events -- her distracting Avdesh and stopping Ranaji from spearing Avdesh -- I'll withhold comments till the episode airs.

I am going to spend this week trying to understand where her character comes from, albeit bearing in mind that her character is being written to draw TRPs. I will try to walk a mile in her shoes and try to understand her better!

It's avdesh getting distracted by her due to his ogling and not the other way around. And come on which of the characters till now has been bumped off? So obviously he wont be killed.

We will wait and watch which way this track goes. If rnj is made a clown yet again then I guess it's high time we a quit.

Will wait and see where exactly they are going with this avdesh

You are quite right... but the Q was not directed at G...but members here who think RNJ is an idiot for having accepted the challenge...and jeopardizing the interests of his state!

I did not mean G deliberately distracted him...we won't know until we see the show how and why it happened..

My point was did G have to be used to save RNJ one way or the other...that is all!

Does nothing happen without G's active or passive involvement?

The usual FL thing...the very reason why I stay off desitv soaps...this show seemed different to begin with...!

That's why I am insisting to give the feedback. If not and they sideline rnj totally like they did to akbar in Ja they can say goodbye to ETR soon. There s a limit to glorifying a FL and that too in a story of that era.

As far as I know the kings were not brainless. And a king would never simply believe anyone and have spies everywhere. this is what irks me. Any random guy or girl can enter amerkot and cause ruckus. And those scheming inside the palace also go scot free. All this is unbelievable.

When the writer is hell bent on ghusofying Gayathri into every frame what choice do we have? They have lost their sense within woo episodes. They don't know how to weave a story of a king and queen without putting down the king as brainless.

All they know is to recycle and churn the same story again and again.
