Thought I'd skip this epi after the discussions here- anyway caught it..not bad, actually.

Actually I feel even Sid is frustrated and not liking the way his character is shaping up, he might joke about it but it is clear from his expression that he does not like it and he has repeated it a few times. I am sure his character has digressed from what he was narrated. And looking at his career graph, he does not do beta roles, all his roles have been different and interesting be it negative, positive or parallel leads. And when an actor is not happy, it doesn't take him long to quit especially if cares about his craft and character and not just about the money, we have seen this many times before. So I wonder how long before Sid calls it a day, wouldn't blame him at all.

It was full of drama.

This Avdesh guy is an idiot. And a lecher. 🤢 He is indeed a fool to think he can win a kingdom and a queen, through a sword fight..Gone are those days, like G suggested.

I am with RNJ too...He has confidence in his craft...if it is a fair fight, he will win hands down. Loved the way G supported him in the havan scene, telling the mad prince that it was he who would require prayers to be saved from RNJ's talwarbazi. Quite a supportive wife there!

Back in the mahal too, I liked the point she raised. It was not like a criticism, rather like thinking aloud..He shouldn't have ..He really shouldn't have...She can smell a rat...She can feel it in her bones that this guy'd cheat. And she knows RNJ fights fair and square...Unlike the badtameez Chauhan who didn't even have the courtesy to get down from his horse and talk...the guy is ruthless and uncultured...quite a thug, actually. Fighting him would be like fighting a Barbarian..and they have no rules...This is where Gayatri senses danger for her straightforward pati.❤️ I really didn't mind that. RNJ is just too nice...like BRM pointed out...His only aim in life has been to be a good ruler to his people...when someone challenges him, he has to accept it on behalf of his people. If he sat at home like G and BRM suggested, people'd laugh at him...they really would. But he needs to take heed of G's view point...that the guy would use unfair means.

And what unfair means?

Won't the kunwars tamper with his sword again...or incapacitate him in some other way? It def is easier to get rid of an idiot like Avdesh than RNJ.

Swarna- poor thing. She wants Lakhan far away from the mahal...safe..somewhere. She knows his life is in danger every second he spends in the mahal...how hard she tries o convince him, playing the pativrata card...and how quickly he converts it into the hunter and game equation! Some turning point is coming up in their love story, for sure...Swarna will have to accept her feelings openly very soon, I suppose.

On the whole, quite a fast paced epi...dialogues were good. 👏

Is sone ke mahal mein ek kaanch ki gudiya bhi rehti hai, jiska dil aayne ki tarah bilkul saaf hai...Wah, Divy! Good going!👏

On RNJ investigating the recent kidnap and everything else...up till the last bomb scene has been owned up by BRM..who was never openly been in good terms with her son...so no point suspecting him again, I suppose. Plus the kidnappers seemed to have a personal grudge...rubbing in his kingly status...they really talked like dacoits...so their motive could have been simple and plain killing for pleasure. I am not expecting too much from RNJ, 'coz he has a half mad demented idiot to fight and a queen to safeguard.😉

Is the epi worth watching, too much drama today ?

It looked like that scene started with only RaGa in the room and she had not noticed the kunwars. They just decided to join in...RaGa were standing at a distance anyway...hence the benefit of doubt. I feel G wouldn't correct her hubby in front of the horrible kunwars.

On Sid feeling bored...I feel he really doesn't have to complain yet. The whole kidnap epi belonged to him. He looked so cute sitting by the river, all tied up. And the fights..and telling G to run for cover...and getting shot himself...All G did was to distract the nappers...and that too because RNJ had left clues all around. All in all, I felt G's outfit was a waste. She might as well have worn a saree🥱...Except that it inspired our hero to come out with the 'cute dialogue'😉 RNJ all the way! 🥳😆

Even today, I remember Sid's expressions the most..they make sure RNJ gets decent csreen space...Fair enough, I guess...when they want him to wait for the two women to make all the decisions.😆 His guardian angels! 😆

Who else of you had this same reaction at Avdesh introducing himself!!! I had something similar at times !

• And as I expected Cvs are giving the villain the powerful dialogues, amplfying his voice! !!

• Swarnalekha bahufied, dukiari abla nari who can stay in an abusive relationship just because the abuser is the pati!!! can't believe what they have done to her!!!!

• Another expected thing, is that once again it's all about Gayatri's samajdaari, her intelligence etc etc, and they are trying to show Ranaji in a bad light once again, and Gayatri will tell him ' see I told you don't fight this war see the anjaam' and she will try to help him out of the mess ' face palm"

This dialogue she said about Chudiyan and women power already tells that it's all about her and ki how a woman can be intelligent and win with brain games not war!!

I don't see any problem in what Ranaji did, you can't stay hands down in front of enemies eyeing your kingdom, yes you should fight them with brains but if it's necessary with talvar too, I mean it's not nice to be called a coward!! but obviously they had to show that Ranaji is putting his praja at stake, just to prove that Gayatri is right in whatever she told him!!!

Why is it difficult to them to make it about a wise, intelligent, experciend and astute Raja who has as a backbone his wife and mother, I never said women have no brains or can't think, but to make them right all the time at the expense of the hero is too much!!!

And I still believe that he needs his royal counsel!! advices would be more bearable coming from his counsolers than from Gayatri the patni everytime, people who are experienced, I hate ki how to make any track work they do it at the expense of Ranaji, now the raja of Amerkoot doesn't even know about its history!!

Yaar if you think Gayatri is the best, give her the throne, she is so wise!, all she needs is to learn how to fight, why to call the show Ek Tha Raja Ek thi Rani call it Ek thi Rani!!!

And to think that one day they had this poster which has on it that it was also about the raja!


Anyway glad with the decision of taking the break from the forum and discussions about the show, I don't know if I was delusional thinking that they might give me the balance I asked for or if I'm still delusional for still being optimistic even now, now with the female centered tracks, they are making me seem like if I hate Gayatri or have a problem with strong women, I like her and I like even this samajdari of hers, but not at the expense of the hero, the hero as shown in the beginning of the show is a wise sensible, perceptive king who used to investigate!
