Lovely VM as usual, you always add a touch of yours within the story, like the bandage scene after the dance which you put directly after the hand burning scene!
I wish we had more flashbacks from Ranaji's side, I think if he had a single scene after the darga where he recollects all what he lived with Gayatri from the very beginning how she inspired him innocence and trust, then how he was disappointed to discover that she is a liar and a social climber and then all her scenes with him after marriage how she always had eyes only for him, she organised the coronation ceremony, gave it back to wilkinson, how she brought him his sword and cheered him, how the truth came out and swore to him that she loves him and was part of no conspiracy, then the diwali challenge, then how she managed the budget of the house, how he was unfair to her in the Wilkinson fiasco... and then how he was about to lose her and how she on the other hand was very understanding, then the looking at the stars scene, kidnapping scene, and shooting star scene...
Then starts his attraction and all the other scenes, maybe that single scene with flashbacks and state of mind and realization of how good and important is Gayatri could have helped people to connect more with the pace of the love story though I would still have prefered them to take it slowly even when their intention is to bring Sula after, they could have given the falling in love track two or three more weeks at least.
I know that there were many things to make him love her, but they should have maybe showed him softening at times, attracted at times, because after the wedding day, he acted slightly snob and at times slightly rude, unlike when he saved her from Sarooj
Everything was there to make it extremely beautiful, they had just to take it slower and add more situations, we wanted more as greedy fans, but other than this I know why he moved on once he understood how his pain was affecting people around him and how he himself was in pain for so many years so him being eager to move on wasn't wrong hence the fast pace maybe!
