@Bertie: for most of us its not about ML slapping FL but a man slapping a woman..

@Fedex: true that..desi soaps won't improve..not till they have this insane quest for trp and insert drama just for that purpose

No I didnt watch SO's IPK. I was talking about another show on LOK. SC too went downhill soon after SO took over. I remember I stopped watching half through one episode and never looked back. That track was beyond repulsive.

But here it is not just SO to blame, Zee is notorious for using these tracks in all their shows, triangles, bigamy, memory loss, domestic abuse etc. This was a show about a king and queen. Why reduce RaGa to bumbling fools like leads of other shows?

What has he understood of Gayu and from their past experiences together for him to not believe her and raise his hand on her? Why resort to a slap at all, even with vamps? It is a serious question, do TRP aunties really like to watch domestic abuse?

Oh god. Am unable to sit through the episode. It's not bad but I can't watch Gayathri sidelined by sona BRM and to some extent rnj. Why is RM quiet?

So Gaya is out of the room. Rana is irritated with sona. BRM playing a clever game not letting Rana near gayu and rana fighting it his own way but it's not enough.

And sona is so catty. She is calling gayu woh aurat .

She is irritating him but his hands are tied with her amnesia story being told every time.

He should be clever enough to see through her if he really loved sona. If not it's the cvs fault.

G...I completely endorse your point that any kind of violence is abhorrent...

But I had to say this because the conversation was veering towards ML slapping FL...

There was this show that I watched briefly...the ML, who is obsessed with his friend, practically asks the FL, his wife to leave the house because she questions the intentions of the friend...and finally it is proven that the friend was a vamp all along and was faking mental illness...so the ML slaps the friend after she tries to make an attempt on the FL..

The entire forum celebrated the event...

To me, it was as appalling as anything else...hand her over to the authorities if you will...but slapping her? Finally he doesn't even hand her over to the law...her only punishment is a slap from the hand of the ML..and loss of his friendship...

Amy, G, Shwets, B, Arshifan, Grumpy, Sim, @vertiserum, Chennaigirl and all who have expressed disappointment...I am totally with you. I wish...there was a way to undo past few weeks, and do the story all over again...after the bookreading scene...slowly...taking the time...without messing up charcaters along the way and the story...RNJ could have found out about the gun shot, he would have been upset, removed...unwilling to go further...and he could have grdaully given up his resolve...slowly...Desperate Kuwars would have another attempt to take Gayatris life...and the Dargah track could have played...followed by a nice freedom struggle track...

Instead we have this...

The mask idea is so dumb...This is a potter we are talking about in the 1940s...lets not pretend he has the technology to pull a Mission Impossible switchroo of...😔

Is there a way to undo what has been broadcasted? I will vote for collective Amnesia if that was possible...
