No body could get away with slighting her or harming her!It was also his way of initiating G into his world, to tell her that he would be by her side and hold her hand at every stage and that they would be fine together! To apologize to her through his courtesy and protection. There is no way that all of this can be done in any other but a pronounced way so the message goes across loud and clear!c) Maybe it was Sid's way of responding to the criticism on his emoting skills...he wanted to make it that much more pronounced so that he would be able to get the message across even to an audience that liked emotions underlined and spelt out..! Also maybe because he wanted to pitch it a notch higher since RNJ is on the path to being besotted..!
