@Sush today RM and her father made Gayatri stand up. RM clearly told her in the kitchen to take charge. She is the queen and she should behave like one.
And in the durbar her father told somewhere inside the queen his daughter is there on whom he has done a deal. And that daughter should forgive him and should not give up.
So the Gayatri who went to meet RNJ was the woman who knew that RM supports and believes her, so does her father. People become stronger when they have a fall back option is my take.
Till that point when she heard the insult, when she knew RNJ didn't love her she felt alone, but now with people knowing for sure that her love for RNJ is true, she is more confident and confident of proving it to RNJ also.
And I don't mind Gayatri behaving like a queen in the end. I would say she had to. Because RNJ had given her the right to be the queen and RM wants her to be that. She has to grow. Because only by being a queen she can be a wife.

Sush...I guessed that the terrible episode kind of stopped you in your tracks😆. I am all for both leads being sensible. I don't enjoy either lead being shown as illogical or cruel. i was sort of mollified by yesterday though not entirely. There is a yo yo pattern to the episodes that I don't enjoy ...so today may be good, great or terrible. It is so not fair to the viewers, I hope the creatives understand that.
I did like the RAGA scene yesterday. Am not going to to crib about Ranaji's mulishness, or Gayatri's whims...in one scene, she does'nt drink water because her husband has not accepted her, and in the other, she claps her hand and asks for water...it is this kind of flip flop that makes me question if the director, dialogue writer know what they are doing??!!!

Very carefully worded challenge, her love will win, they will light diyas together. Open to interpretation and mangling😆

Ranaji is back in action, suave, and elegant. Deal with the sauda, return the loan, cut losses, close the sauda.

It really depends on how they play this out...am not looking forward to a meat ban, in the current social context, a daily soap, that does not profess to be a statement on social reforms, does not need to get into this (And I am vegetarian😃)

Nice post

I loved the Queen's attitude of Gayatri.
Just wait i feel we will get to see her compassionate behavior with servants too. Yesterday's attitude was for a purpose which i guess went well down with Ranaji 😆

Sharing what I posted on @jyoti06
---------------
The episode was better than yesterday. But I still can't connect with the actor playing Ranaji. Too stiff for my liking. I need to be more patient, I guess or maybe my expectations are too high. I hav been watching a finite series wherein the lead male protagonist is a fab actor and another historical where dialogues are belted out with so much of expressions, its mind-blowing. Perhaps, the character of Ranaji is yet to develop. Maybe then, the actor would emote with his eyes! Rana Indravadhan Singh Deo...can't wait to see you match up with Rani Gayatri Devi!
--------------
You are right @-Sush-. Rani Gayatri Devi is the stronger Avatar. 😃 I remember the male lead actor, Ranaji, from the Airtel commercial aired some time ago where his boss is also his wife. The emotions he portrayed in less than 3 mins were awesome and I took an instant liking for this bearded handsome bloke...Well, I hope for the best...

Hola Sush!
The episode was a lot better than the previous one to say the least. I really liked the father daughter scene. The precap was good. Finally she isn't begging for his love! 😆 But the time limit part irks me to the core. Why is it necessary to make him accept her and light the diya together by Diwali. TRP funda again. The righteous wife winning over the hate.
Anita Raj is a class apart in acting. She emoted really well in yesterday's episode on seeing Govind Seth's tears. She hasn't done that in any of the other episodes before. Like Bertie said you can watch the show alone based on her acting because she is that good to watch. 😊
What I didn't like was that kitchen politics have started. This isn't a saas bahu drama but the CV's are infusing some of this to get the TRP's. Some of Kokila's dialogue are becoming too cheap and crass. They need to tone it down.

Sush, thanks for posting it even when you were not inspired.
IMO, this show is getting TRPised fast.Liked the Seth-G scene, and Mr&Mrs Seth too. That's how families rally to solve big issues and the Seths have a king size issue on their hands.
RaGa face-off, as you said dialogues were clever.TG, there was no war cry from G as, "thou shall fill my maang before karva chaut".
I liked RM looking after her DIL, but please stop butchering Kokila too.She wants to be the next Maharani, when her Maharaj becomes the King.I don't like silly kitchen politics.and the amount of screen space Kokila is getting is a concern for me.
RNJ's dialogue only reinforced, what some of us were saying y'day the "WHY" of his public humiliation,it was his way of telling her to "Back off.stop trying to be my wife"😆

I'm off for meetings, won't be around here

Small mercies! 😃

Actually if you think of it...if he is willing to out the bichua and the ring, who not sindoor...I don't quite get that...

Oh well! Like I said silly season has started ...low on sense...high on whatever anyone thinks is needed for TRP!

Sush, I am thinking of watching few more episodes too for the time being. Bauji and Gayu scene was a favorite today. Even RM was moved, possibly the first time. It was also good to see her stand up for Gayu in the kitchen.

RNJ's behavior yesterday has opened the door to Chachi-chacha and LR misbehaving with Gayu. Chachi seriously does not behave like a royal. CVs need to be careful too not to include these sleazy taunting scenes in public by all and sundry.

Gayu ordering the servant to bring food was 👎🏼 unlike her. Behaving like a queen doesnt mean she behaves bossy.

I am unwell, keeping it short today.

Bauji was looking at a photo of himself and Gayu in her childhood. How common were cameras those days? That photo would have been taken sometime in the late 1930s. The bhabhis behaved like they had never seen or heard of the camera when the royal photographer came to take Gayu's pic before the wedding.

Darn, I always notice the small stuff. The glass Gayu drank water from... couldnt they use something that looked like silver?

Hi Nandy,
Yes I haven't given up yet...but definitely less confident...and some of the crazy public behavior like bossing the server for no reason...to prove whatever...is killing me,...

Perhaps I will stop being angry at RNJ for calling her an imposture! Need some basic consistencies...man! An imposture doesn't work for me as an FL...like I said...for me to enjoy a show I need to be able to love both ML and FL...
