And character development is possible only if you make finite series like Everest or Ek tha Chander Ek thi Sudha where things are pre shot.

And to some extend limited edition shows like EHT, certain character development can happen. Else for shows that are launched so that they can run for years, there is nothing called character development. It is changed according to what TRP aunty wants.

Shruthi I got ur view n my problem is more with this system n y always Cvs PH fall on this trap y not improved or change this system y its only by certain portion will decide the fate of any show...

I will happy with infinite no show where I can cherish it from long time...

quality needed not quantity but sigh that is not happening most of the time

There is definitely a disconnect with previous episodes and last night's episode of the characterization. Literally they have managed to butcher so many characters. Gayatri was using Ji, suddenly why? 😕

How i wish we could delete yesterday's episode from history of ETR2.

CVs butchered both the leads yesterday
Gayatri by making her begging for love n then getting trapped into Ranaji's plan so easily.

Ranaji by making him humiliate Gayatri in public.

Whatever they tried to show in Ranaji n Chacha scene was also a total put off. So Ranaji thinks only he can talk shit abt Queen n that too in public. How can he even think that praja will respect a Queen when King himself doesnt respect her.

@Krishna not only you most of the online audience hate TRP system including me😃. Whenever I try to watch a show, I need to look always at this red flag. What will PH and channel do. Afterall it is business. Just like a movie that is not earning in boxoffice is removed, a show that is not doing good on TRP chart is removed.

I had put in another forum. Multiplex and satellite rights changed the face of Indian Cinema. If you look in the last 5-6 years movies with good content became box office hits also, but they got the chance because of multiplex and satellite rights. I mean TV became an alternate medium for cinema and producers took more risks.

Similarly online series is going to be that magic wand for TV. If something doesn't work in TV, move online. If monetizing happens there PH will also take some risks in giving content and hopefully finite shows.

Just like movie can be played " n" times in a channel, a show can be watched "n" times online. So the medium is huge. And there it is not some 25000 homes deciding what the rest should watch, but each indvidiual will be able to give the rating, just like box office numbers.

But we will have to wait. Till then sigh...

GOD knows either cvs change full concept or PH change CV or CV has forgotten their own creations GOD knows what happen but we the viewers suffered more
