He is not behaving like a wise king but a Devdas who thinks Gayatri tricked him into this, n bcoz of her he is breaking his promise to Sona.

Though some passion in him is ok to watch n perhaps good for trps too but CVs should not show him inflicting pain to Gayatri, just bcoz he assumes something.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and new to this soapie.

I started watching this because I loved the romantic setting and the beginning of a potential blossoming love story, forgive me but I am a hopeless romantic.

However, in the last 2 or 3 episodes, I must say I am really disappointed with the character of the king. I feel like he is behaving childishly, especially when he becomes angry and aggressive towards Gayatri. I expect a king to behave maturely, and humanely, not to publicly display temper tantrums like a 2 year old. He should have full control of his behavior and display some form of emotional intelligence. I'm sorry if anyone disagrees with my viewpoint but I really want him to be a caring somebody, then he can be worthy of a wonderful wife like her. His anger is totally over the top.

Also, he feels like he is betraying his love to his now deceased wife but it's so far fetched. Hasn't he ever heard of life goes on?

I just wish he will give her a chance. Maybe it's too soon for them, too early in the relationship and I'm too anxious for them to be hospitable to each other. I suppose I should just be patient and let this play out. Sigh!
