Umm... I don't think the slap is for fangirling ... Its a slap from a disappointed Father to his daughter when she gets drunk... Knowingly or Unknowingly, though het father doesn't know that!!!

I don't think it's the admiration its self but the way it is depicted. She comes across despo, easy and cheap. Even Kajol dreamed of her Prince Charming in DDLJ. But she never came across cheap. You can show her admiration far more subtly and maturely. Than show her drooling and being desperate to see him 24-7. No girl goes out of her way to meet a guy she barely even knows that many times. And she thinks he is interested in her? How delusional? I hope she doesn't continue dreaming of him after marriage when he rejects her.

But Trish Gayatri knows the drink was send by Ranaji so at least that should lessen her fangirling thinking her father is disappointed in her for getting drunk..

I was enjoying her fangirling cos I could connect with that being a fangirl myself. But she is coming across as a deluded fangirl now which is annoying.. I mean she even thought that Ranaji has send the invitation for her. How is that even possible when she didn't let kaka even introduce her or tell her real name?? Delusional hone ki bhi hadd hoti hai yaar. 😆

Now you're being quite harsh on her to say she is easy or cheap, grumpy. Yes her fangirling is getting too much but that does not mean she is desperate. Ranaji has given her quite a few reasons to admire him. Not to forget she didn't sit back and take his comment silently when he taunted her for rash driving. She was a fan even then but she does know to stand for herself when needed. At least so far she stood for her self respect.. let's see what she does post marriage... And the creatives had said that Gayatri will stop her fangirling post marriage.. It is temporary.. so wishing the marriage happens soon and she comes back from her la la land

Hey Sanju

I didn't mean to offend you there. I didn't say Gayatri is desperate I said her excessive fingerling makes her come across that way. I give her credit for standing up for herself. But going out of your way to meet someone you have met only twice before. Preparing gifts for them? I can still understand if she wanted to say thank you. Dreaming of him 24-7 after two meetings? It is kind of excessive? Have we seen her invest her energy into anything else since the show started besides reading and fangirling over Ranaji?

About the reasons Ranaji has given her. I dont know how common it is to find good samaritans in men in India. I know it is very rare to find one on Indian TV ever since angry young man trend has started. But I have said this before I come across people like Ranaji all the time. Perhaps because I live in one of the most progressive parts of America. I got into a car accident. Plenty of ppl stopped by to help. The same way Ranaji went all out his way to help Gayatri. I get help from strangers all the time. But it doesnt mean I start fangirling over them. They are still strangers at the end of the day. There might be a whole another side to them I dont know. You can't judge book by its cover. I have said this the reason Gaytri so easily trusts Ranaji to be perfect is because her father, mother and brothers treat her like a princess. Their is a whole another side to human nature she is yet to experience.

But I agree lets see how Gayatri changes after marriage.

I hope she does, but I don't think she will till at least her marriage.
I was fine with her being fan girl until she also become a delusional. The last episode where she thought Rana invited them to the party because of her annoyed me. And, I completely agree with some members here regarding why does she even like him so much other than him going to war for WW2 himself? Okay, may be he's prince, so is she that why drooling over him so much?

Still, it's annoying as she's being delusional now. As a fan of RaGa or liking them, I do like her dreams though because we get lots of RaGa scenes cos of her dreams. However, CVS needs to find another way now. I can't wait for the marriage to happen, so she gets a reality check! 😳
