Honestly i m not hoping that but u never know many atimes CVs make the characters do OTT things to bring in more drama or to lead to next track 😕

In any case i am not expecting Gayu to stop dreaming abt Ranaji completely (that will be again absurd, no?) and the slap is also not for dreaming abt Ranaji (her father dont even know abt her dreams yet) but yeah hope she doesnt turn into crazy freak once Bauji house arrest her. Fingers crossed for that 😆

But i think makers r not really interested in showing what happened in Gayatri's childhood.

The only thing in her defense can be perhaps in childhood her mother never let her go to school as per norms & Gayatri may not be much interested in all these books n all back then or was too small to demand something like that. Now too she doesnt demand from father as such but boldly do things bcoz somewhere she knows her father will support her. And in childhood u generally dont have that courage.

And now when Bauji will slap her, so logically she must think/ feel that she must have done something serious wrong otherwise why will Bauji do such who always support me. But u never know what they will show bcoz sometimes makers make characters do illogical things just bcoz they have to reach to next track.. Lets see what happens here

Her mother is a typical conservative woman but her father isn't. When she denied that Gayatri can not attend the party her father came and said she will. So me thinks even Damyanti must be keeping quite once Govind Seth decides something. And as it is Gayatri is shown crazy for her books and in some article they said she used to study/read from her brother's books. So Im guessing her love for books isn't something that has come to her suddenly. It was always there maybe. Also if Govind Seth can bring a chariot for his daughter's happiness why can't he fulfil her wish of studying? And even if for once I do consider that Gayatri may not have the craze for books back then at least Govind Seth should himself have admitted her in some school as he is shown believing in gender equality.

So far the show has been good minus Gayatri's excessive drooling. So hope her focus shift from Ranaji and she seriously start doing something productive.

But on a serious note, I feel for her. I hope her father says sorry and makes it all good since I love the father-daughter duo
