Gayatri should reject Ranaji when she is shot by RM. According to the article, she is shot by RM so that Ranaji could express his care and make him fall in love with Gayatri. Men are illogical in these soaps, so her pushing him away will piss him off, and in turn want to gain her attention more and more. He will take an extra effort to make her comfortable.
