when I have it on, I never leave the kitchen, as I don't trust the whistle. stand by the stove until time to switch off. sometimes liquid will come out from the side of whistle. if this happens I switch it off straight away and take the pressure cooker away from the stove.

also I have known people having blast damaging cabinets etc and food all over ceiling etc. one of my close family friend saw the lid fly off and damaged the door of the fridge/freezer.

I find it stupid. It could be understandable if it was in the beginning when Sakshi just comes into Sasural. But now she has been helping her mom in law in cooking from many months, i just can't swallow it from my throught that she doesn't know how to use cooker.

she had minor burns which faded after a while. the stuff from the pot when the lid flew sprinkled on her which was piping hot.

to be honest I don't trust the pressure cookers from india. those I know had blast, their PC were from India. No offence
I live in UK and use UK manufactured one but still as I said, I stand nearby.

Even I felt the same way, it was kind of stupid. They had also shown her boiling potatos but I think their main intention was to show that Suresh may be an expert in business matters but its Sharda who is perfect when it comes to household matters.
