Thank you for the appreciation and enjoying the story so far. I am glad you have enjoyed the prologue.
I want to reiterate, the credit for this story does not belong to me... It belongs to the writer(s), director(s), actors and team of sealed with a kiss. I just loved the emotional journey of the actor, the way his character was shaped... It's flaws... Everything... I kept envisioning hate me... Ragav. And I just love hate me... Ragav :) however since I have already written a revenge plot... I am removing the revenge element from this Ragna journey.
Please keep in mind am totally ignoring the meh part of the series... Especially the ending :)
This story will not be very detailed because I do not want it to become long. I want to complete this story. I have given myself a deadline of this month... Fingers crossed I keep it and don't keep adding to the storyline. The chapters will focus on character growth... I am going to try and focus on the intensity of Ragna's emotions... Their journey towards falling in love.
Laughing gaily, Kalpi looks towards her friends, Pakhi and Rohan with affection as they catch up Over lunch. Seated at the open terraced area of the Italian restaurant, Pakhi looks about her surrounding, taking in the undisturbed view of the ocean and exclaims, "Now this is heaven!" Grinning she turns to Kalpi and says, "how lucky you are to have found the perfect job and this treasure trove."
Turning to Rohan, Pakhi adds, "I don't know about you, but I think I want to follow Kalpi's footsteps and move here." Smiling fondly, Kalpi clasps Pakhi's hand and says with a smile, "it would be a dream come true... To have you here by my side. Hurry up and complete your placement and final year of uni. I miss you." Turning to Rohan, Kalpi places her other hand on his and says, "I miss you too."
Due to the late hour, Kalpi quietly steps into the house, not wanting to wake Mr and Mrs Mohan, who were in charge of the smooth running of the house. Seeing Mrs Mohan pace to and fro at the foot of the stairs, Kalpi's smile falters as she hurriedly asks, "what is the matter Mrs Mohan?"
Mrs Mohan looks up, her eyes filled with worry, she whispers in a hushed tone, "where have you been child? The master is in his room." A slight tremor runs through Kalpi as panic and fear settles in. Darting a glance up the stairs, she whispers in panic, "why didn't you call me?" "I have been calling you all day. Your phone is switched off."
With trembling hands she takes her phone out of her purse, staring at the blank screen in disbelief. Mrs Mohan calls Kalpi to attention, saying, "you better hurry. He is very angry." Nodding, the fear settled in her heart emanating through her eyes, Kalpi races up the stairs, towards her room. Mrs Mohan stares after her, her eyes filled with sadness.
Grabbing a large white shirt from her cupboard, Kalpi's memories race to the night she first wore HIS shirt...
Needing the washroom, Kalpi slowly easing her naked form away from him... Frowning as she sees her torn dress on the floor. Looking about to cover herself, she picks his white shirt from the foot of the bed and slips into it.
A voice calls out boomigly from behind her, "you dare wear something of mine?"
Kalpi stops mid step, without turning, says in a quiet voice, trying not to quiver in fear, "it is not that I dare, but because I have nothing to wear and need to go to the washroom."
Shaking away her memories, Kalpi quickly puts on the shirt and rushes to his room. Stops at the door. Takes a deep breath. Knocks and says, "it is me, Kalpana", before entering.
Ragav stands by the window, staring out at the night sky, his mood contemplative. His anger dissipating as the hour grows late. The irony of the situation not lost to him... That here he was waiting for his mistress instead of his mistress waiting for him.
Hearing Kalpi announce herself, Ragav turns around and watches her walk towards him. His gaze possesive as he feels a sense of satisfaction seeing her dressed in nothing but his shirt.
Fearing his temper, Kalpi quickly begins explaining herself as she walks towards him... "My phone switched off accidentally... I did not realise."
Stopping several feet away, she says with a false smile, "had I known you were home... I would have come sooner."
Ragav says nothing... His ego basking in the fear and distress he reads in her eyes. Instead he silently walks towards her and she rambles away with false happiness as she tells him how she spent the day.
He walks around her, stopping behind her, quietly unpinning her hair. Kalpi stops mid sentence, raising her hands automatically to unpinning the rest of her hair, thinking, "oh shit, I forgot." Ragav pushes her hands away, continues to unpinning her hair. The room silent.
Once her hair is free of any pins, Ragav walks around her, sits on the settee facing her and says coldly, "so it is Pakhi and Rohan's fault that I have had to wait for you." He pauses for a moment, waiting for the words to sink in. Seeing fresh fear in her eyes, he continues, cruelly, "maybe I should fire..."
Kalpi rushes forward, says pleadingly, fear emanating from her, "it is my fault. I should thought to check in with Mrs Mohan... I should have known better than to be out until this time... Please... Don't... It won't happen again. I promise."
The desire to hurt her as much as he was hurting was so strong. He needed to forget this day, the haunting of this date, he needed distraction, he says simply, "well than... It all depends on your performance tonight."
