Club Randevouz
A tipsy Kalpana Jhadav grins as she stands up from the table, her hand raised, holding her drink, turns to her friends Rohan Mehta and Pakhi Kapoor and says in a loud hushed whisper, "DARE!!!", giggles and gulps down her drink.
Momentarily stunned, Pakhi squeals in excitement, saying, "I can't believe Miss cautious did not choose truth." Turning to Rohan, she adds, "Rohan we have to make the most of this opportunity." Glancing around the club Pakhi wonders what dare to give.
Rohan shakes his head, gulps his drink and says, "Kalpi, you are so gone. Hope you are ready for what she throws at you."
Too high spirited to care, Kalpi retorts, laughing, "bring it on."
Grinning naughtily, Pakhi turns to Kalpi and says as she points, "you see that man at the bar. The one sitting all alone... Downing his drinks like there is no tomorrow."
"What about him?", Kalpi asks as she stares at the man's back.
Turning to face her best friend, Pakhi replies, "I dare you to kiss him."
Taken a back momentarily, for she had not expected such a dare. Throwing caution to the wind, Kalpi gulps down another drink, squares her shoulders as she stares at Th man in questions back and says, "dare accepted."
Kalpi walks towards the man in question, trying to still her beating heart, her confidence reducing with every step she takes towards him, thinking, "oh shit! I can't believe I am going to do this."
Standing next to him, Kalpi motions for the bartender to pour her a drink. Sipping her drink, Kalpi gathers her courage turns towards the gentleman next to her and says softly, "excuse me... Excuse me..."
Unfocused eyes look into nervous eyes... Raising one eyebrow, he silently gestures, "what?" Smiling politely, Kalpi says, "your phone is ringing."
Not bothering to look at his phone, Ragav Singhania, replies nonchalantly, as he gulps down his drink, "and so it is." Feeling awkward Kalpi states, "oh, you are avoiding he call." Staring at her, Ragav says sarcastically, "wow, you are astute." Not picking up the sarcasm, Kalpi smiles radiantly and says, "may I ask you for a favour?" Curious, Ragav replies, "depends on the favour."
Kalpi whispers confidingly, "my friends and I are playing truth or dare..." Smirking, Ragav interrupts, "let me guess," adding in mock whisper, mischief in that are suddenly very clear and sharp, "you have bee n dared to kiss me."
Nodding affirmatively, Kalpi asks, "may I kiss you?"
Reading the vulnerability in her eyes as she courageously asks to kiss him, Ragav nods, saying, "who am I to spoil your game."
Relieved, Kalpi leans forward and places a chaste kiss on his cheek. Feeling cheated, Ragav says, "now that is cheating." Places his arm around her waist, pulls her towards him and kisses her on the lips.
Breaking the kiss as they pull apart, Ragav watches as Kalpi tries to compose herself... Says, "this is how one kisses in a dare." "Oh..." Kalpi says in a daze, too stumped to reply, mumbling, "I didn't know... Thank you."
Watching her get up to leave, Ragav says, "where are you going without completing the dare." Surprised, confused, Kalpi looks at him silently as she tries to comprehend what he just said. Smiling Ragav explains, "the dare is for you to kiss me... Not me kiss you." Seeing the blank look on her face, a little bored with the game, he says, "when I kissed you... You didn't kiss me back." Reprimanding her, he adds, "innocent misses should really not be playing such games."
Pulling her into his arms, he adds softly, "I am not going to let you go until you complete the dare... Kiss me." Heart racing, Kalpi stares at him mutely. Staring into her eyes, Ragav sighs and kisses her... Using his lips and tongue to persuade her to kiss him back.
"Ahem... Ahem," a man clears his voice next to the kissing couple... To get their attention. Annoyed by the interruption, Ragav breaks the kiss and says sharply, "what is it Aman?" Embarrassed for having lost herself in the kiss, Kalpi realises that she is sitting on his lap.
Aman meets his boss's furious gaze and says hesitantly, "sir... Your wife..." Not bothering to let his bodyguard complete the sentence, Ragav extends his hand towards the phone. Aman quickly gives him the phone. Ending the call Ragav throws the phone towards his bodyguard, turns to Kalpi ans says softly, "where were we."
Shocked as reality and realisation sinks in, thinking, "oh my God, he is married and thinks..." Her gaze filled with anger and disgust, Kalpi steps away, ready to express her outrage. Realising that she was no longer ready to play, Ragav looks at Aman and says, "I am bored... Take her away." Turns to signal the bartender for another drink... Dismissing Kalpi.
An elegant woman walks up to Ragav, draps her arm on his shoulder and says in a husky voice, "bored without me." Ragav looks up, smiles, nods towards Kalpi's direction and says, "she was kind enough to entertain me in your absence."
Smiling, she rubs the lipstick mark on side of his lip and says, "this shade doesn't suit you." Then leans towards him and kisses him.
