CHAPTER 9

Its anotherday, Pakhi got call from Pakhya to go out for dinner. Pakhi refused him saying she has assignments to complete. Kalpi who overheared this came to Pakhi and questioned her.

You are rejecting him because of me Pakhi?

Nothing like that Kalpi. Really Im filled with lots of work.

Pakhi, please I can get around by my own. And you must not avoid him like this. You go, Im ok and I can take care. And I dont want any useless reasons.

Ok.. Im going but remember to call me if

I will call you at first Pakhi, Kalpi intervied. Once Pakhi went out, Kalpi too came out to get some fresh air and so she decided to move to park near by. Kalpi slowly wheeled herself down the streets, when she reached near the intersection of the street, there were people bustling and vehicles.v She waited behind the crowd to cross the road.

Street shops were lined up and resturants and shops were to her left side. The library was at other end. Everyone started moving to cross the road. Kalpi wheeled and pushed towards. Her arms started aching slightly and her palm burned but she was determined to do this by her own. She though not to be an helpless invalid. Reaching the otherside safely she started rubbing her arms. Looking at the directions she further moved towards the library.

It was been 3 days since she and Raghav had that heated argument. When Pakhi questioned about Raghav, Kalpi tried to fend off with some petty excuse about Raghav being busy with his other activities. But Kalpi understood PaKhi with her tooks that she didn't believe her at all.

Growling inwardly at recalling the situation, She continued her way down the street avoiding as many people as possible. How dare he? Jerk!!

A floating piece of white cloth caught her wheel chair. Perplexed She glanced around her surrounding thinking to return it. There at thr corner her eyes fell on a man, tall covered with dark jacket. His hands covered in white wrapping, splayed over his face showing only the corner of his mouth and the two eyes of that face.

He drew his hand from his face revealing more bandages. Frozen She watched him. Sunlight bounced off a mirror distracting her for just a moment. Blinking away her vision, She searched for the man who was gone.

It is rude to stop in the middle of u street, She heared a familiar voice behind her.

Whipping her head around She saw Raghav, hands pocketed in his pants. Her lips moved to express her shock but no words came out.

Inwardly curious at her lack of argument, he wheeled her leading to library. While he did so, She was silent, very silent. Raghav stood next to Kalpi waiting for some type of response. Something is wrong. Why she is so silent?

After an while, Can you take me to police station? Please!,Kalpi spoke

Silence asvan answer, Raghav hailed down a taxi
