CHAPTER 6

Kalpana lost her interest in reading, not that she didn't enjoy it but something kept bugging her mind.

Why did my tears became nonstop after yesterday afternoon? And why wasn't he teasing me or making some harsh comments on me? pitiful actions? so confusing... her head painded and her cool fingers came to soothe her throbbing temples. Switching off the lamp she went to bed but sleep was far away. So she switched on the light and turned on to her table. Art materials were neatly arranged. She though to sketch something to deviate her mind from Raghav and his actions towards her. She closed her eyes and inhaled trying to recall the vision from her dream.

Sapphire trees, red meadow, emerald crows, black skies, silver clouds, golden children.

She started to sketch it and finish it. Somehow she though that this picture is important for her. Time flew away and morning breeze entered her room. The picture was half finished with Kalpi sleeping over the reading table.

Asusually Raghav guided Kalpi to her class. They both avoided eye contact. Once in class Kalpana was unable to concentrate. She lost her attention in class because her mind was still focused on her drawing in her room.

The picture almost looked like dead, bleeding forest where world was finished with ungodly destruction. The sky was like the smoke of burning dead bodies and the trees where stained with blood. The picture in her dream whispers some secrets.

Her head spun recalling the desperate situation that happened nearly few months ago. The more she wished it to disappear the more it clung onto her conscious. Dropping her pen down, dugging her fingers into her head. Whimpering she gripped her head with both of her hands and went unconscious. Student next to her screams "Kalpi". The professor walked over to her desk and tried waking her up. But no response. Immediately she ordered one of the student to get her assistant as soon as possible.

Footsteps were swiftly apptoaching the classroom and the door banged open. Raghav rushed in "what happened?".

Raghav took hold of Kalpi in his arm without any case of his surrounding and rushed to hospital. Kalpi continued to tremble. Placing Kalpi in front seat Raghav drew as fast as he can to hospital.

Lovely updates . I missed the last one. Fab. For a reserved, arrogant person , Rags is really Human . He was really affected by Kalpi , falling unconscious. . Great concept. Please do continue. Thanks

CHAPTER 7

Dark red eyes laughing around her. Tires screeched, panic screamed in the air. So black, monster chasing. Her hands felt clammy as they gripped onto the air. Rain continued to drench her. Thunder and lightning, smoke, horrible vision.

A blinding white light exploded in her face and she woke up. Looking terriblly shocking face of Kalpi, nurse enquired her immediately. Any nightmares? Kalpi tried her best to ignore the nurse. Once Kalpi gained her conscious Shail, Neetu and Pakhi entered in.

How are you feeling now beta? asked Neetu.

"Tired", She whispered back

Ok, you take rest, saying soo Neetu and Shail went out glancing eachother leaving Pakhi to accompany her. They sat there silently. Kalpi felt relaxed and grateful that Pakhi didn't question her anything. But that made her to feel guilty inside as Pakhi was so nice to her always.

You should rest now Kalpi, dont stress yourself. And dont worry about it, you can tell me when you want, Pakhi assured her with an gentle smile.

Thank you Pakhi!, Kalpi replied relaxed. Who brough me here? Kalpi asked quietly.

Hmm Raghav, brough you here. He was so worried. I must inform him about your health.

No! was the immediate reply from Kalpi.

But why? Pakhi asked confusingly

If he was really so much worried why did he went back, Kalpi mumbbled to herself

Because he had his important personal stuff Kalpi

Whatz that so important than me?

huh

I mean, wohhh

This made Pakhi more confusing on Kalpi

But Pakhi just let it off and laughed with a grin on her lips. Kalpi turned around and stared on her surrounding, hospital room, the walls, silent atomosphere scared her bringing back her bad dreams. She shook her head and turned her head leading to the hallway. Doctor's and nurses were bustling here and there. Patients are walking in and around the place.

A man almost completly wrapped in bandages walked passing her room. She saw that most of his skin was blackened. The sight of the man made her rattle her nerves, an uneasy mood. Why was he soo familiar?.

The man looked back at Kalpi as the room door was open. His eyes, they were red. She saw him looking at her, a fear filtered her body. The man smiled at Kalpi as if he saw her fear for him. Fear gripped her, her heart started to beat so fast. Something was ringing in her ears. What was it??
