Farhana!! I finally made it here and all I have to say is WOW! I read all 17 Chapters in one go. So gripping, couldn't put it down. Everytime I would start some other interruptions came and I ended back at square 1. Tonight finally read it all in one sitting. Fabulous writer you are...cant believe this is your 1st attempt at writing. Please write more, and the plot you have laid out is amazing!!! Thank God I have finally caught up...waiting on Chap 18 Ria is a biatch..from the very beginning that woman was fooling around and aborted Raghav's child. She loved the freedom, parties and men but never valued what was in front of her until it was too late. A man that loves her unconditionally. Fate has other plans and now she's in the dumps; don't feel an ounce of sympathy for her. She dug her grave and now she can very well lie in it. And she better divorce Raghav! Raghav is so sweet, caring and his longing for a child of his ownl you penned those emotions beautifully and his attraction towards Kalpana is so pure. The desires she has envoked in him is making it hard for him to control. Kalpana the strong yet innocent/fragile woman. Loved how you have showed her fighting all adversities and saving her child. RagNa's child!! She's smart and responsible and still has the same love and respect for Raghav even after the separation. Love never dies. Akash is sweet too but somehow I feel he may have a past. He wants to marry Kalpana and has asked Raghav for permission as he views Raghav as her guardian. No!!!!! RagNa...they belong to each other. Heartwrenching that Raghav doesn't remember the beautiful night he spent with Kalpana and Aarav, being the result of it. Nice name...Aarav Singhania. Please let them speak those unspoken words. Let them each have a heartfelt confession, no misunderstandings!! Loved the little touches that tie back to EMA; the ice cream scene, the rain moment..flooded back with EMA memories of RagNa.

Chapter 18

"...Kalpana doesn't know about my feelings toward her," Akash continued with hope, "I respect her," "And she respects you a lot," "I am sure you will make her agree for this marriage as a guardian and she will not disrespect your decision," "That's why I came to you for asking her hand directly." "She will get all the happiness she deserves and I promise you that." Akash said with pain and with his head down, "Sir, I love Kalpana a lot and I can't bear to lose her..."

For all this time Raghav was just listening to Akash. He couldn't utter a word. All the words that Akash said were piercing into his heart. The pain he was bearing was untolerable. He was fighting to control himself not to cry.

"Sir, I will wait for your answer." Akash said leaving Raghav's cabin. Raghav was sitting there his hands were on his forehead and still thinking about Akash's words made him say in his mind, Kalpana will leave me. Sammy shook him and he came out of his thoughts Raghav looks at him angrily, his eyes clearly showed rage of pain. Sammy never saw Raghav like this. "Is everything all right Raghav?" Sammy asked. Without answering Raghav left the cabin leaving Sammy dumbfounded. Seeing Raghav Sammy became very tensed and said, "What was the conversation both Raghav and Akash had," "So far I know Akash came to talk about Kalpana." "Was there any serious matter regarding Kalpana which was unacceptable for Raghav?

After driving two long hours Raghav stopped the car near a hill. He got off from the car and leaned on the car. He took his cell phone and brought out a picture of Raghav and Kalpana and Aarav was in Raghav's arm which was taken when they went to a park. He was staring at the picture for a long time and a tear escaped from his eyes and said, "I thought we are a complete family." Saying so he couldn't control his tears as he started crying with a heavy heart. After a while he said wiping his tears, "How could I forget that she has to leave me one day?" He closed his eyes tightly and thought, But How could I See Her With Someone else? Akash's Each And Every Word Seemed like My Words Toward Kalpana. Then he recalled all his moments with Kalpana, how she saved him, how she was worried about him, how she was taking care of him, how she was taking care of Aarav, how they spent time together and all the beautiful memories and said with pain, "Mujhey tomhari adat hochukihey Kalpana," "How much I want you in my life you have no idea." "I wish I just truly wish I could tell you what you mean to me, you already made a space in my heart. You are the only one with whom I feel alive. Without you, I and Aarav are incomplete, I can't bear to lose you. I can't leave without you and..." Stopped for a while and then said again, "...If it is love then YES I Love You Kalpana.

Singhania Mansion

Kalpana was pacing back and forth worriedly as Raghav didn't come home yet. Raghav's phone also was switched off that made her tensed more. "Why is his phone switched off?" Kalpana said worriedly "Did he meet with any accident?" "No, it can't be," "Where are you Raghav ji, Please come home." Kalpana was awake and was waiting for Raghav whole night but he didn't come.

Seeing Raghav entering in the cabin, Sammy asked, "Where have you been last night?" "And why is your phone switched off? "Aur oaha Kalpana ki halat kya ho raha hey." Without saying anything Raghav dialed a number and said over the phone, "I need a background check for Akash Mehra." Raghav continued, "Make sure his school, college, university, work place...," "If he had and has any girlfriend." "I want each and every record accurate in two days." Saying so Raghav cut the call. Hearing phone conversation, Sammy asked, "Why do you need Akash's background check Raghav?" "Akash came yesterday," Raghav said "He wanted to...," hearing incomplete sentence Sammy asked, "He wanted to what?" Raghav told again, "Akash came here to ask...," hearing incomplete sentence again Sammy was confused and said, "Yah, go ahead, I am listening." Then Raghav took all the courage and said, "Akash came here to ask for Kalpana's hand." Finally Raghav completed his sentence. Hearing Raghav, Sammy asked, "So what decision you made?" "What you are going to say?" Raghav took all the courage once again and said softly, "I am going to say YES to Akash."

"Why are you doing this Raghav?" Sammy said, "Why are you giving something to someone else that belongs to you?" "I know you love Kalpana," "I saw you in pain when she left you without saying anything," "I saw you dying seeing her in the hospital," "I saw you to be happy if she is happy and in pain if she is in pain," "Your mode changes totally depending on her," "Why do you want to destroy your happiness God gave you after a long time?" Hearing Sammy Raghav said, "Yes I admit, I admit that I love Kalpana." Raghav continued, "I don't know when she became my life," "And I want to spend my entire life with her," "But..." Hearing incomplete sentence Sammy asked, "But?" Raghav said, "But I can't be so selfish," Raghav continued, "For my happiness I can't destroy her life." Hearing Raghav Sammy said with confusion, "Destroy?" "Yes Sammy, Kalpana doesn't have any future with me," "Look at our age difference," I am almost double her age," "When I will die, she will still be young and how will she spend her life alone. Who will look after her in my absence?" "She deserves someone who matches her age." "I found Akash very lovable, reliable, and loyal," "He loves Kalpana a lot," "I saw him very caring." "I am sure he will keep Kalpana very happy."

Sammy said, "What if Kalpana doesn't agree to marry Akash?" Sammy asked. "I will make Kalpana agree for the marriage," "She has to agree," "She should think about her future, her husband, her own children," "Staying in my place, Living with me and Aarav, raising my son are not her future." Hearing Raghav Sammy said, "What if she grants those as her future," "What if she loves you too." Hearing Sammy Raghav said, "How can you say that Sammy?" Sammy said, "Do you remember Raghav, as you said, whenever you were in trouble she was there for you and whenever she was in trouble you were there for her, you know why, you both have a connection here..." he said pointing at Raghav's heart," "Ria never had that connection because she never loved you." "Both you and Kalpana has a Dill ka Rishta." "Raghav, I would suggest you, before making any decisions, think very well."

Singhania Mansion

Raghav entered into the house and saw Kalpana pacing back and forth worriedly. Seeing her tensed, "Kalpana," Raghav called by her name. Hearing Raghav Kalpana was staring him with so much of anger. "Where have you been last night han?" "Why do you carry your phone if you keep it switched off?" "Pata hey kaisa kaisa khayal araha tha aap ko lekar maan mey?" Seeing her so much with concern Raghav said with pain in his mind, please Kalpana don't do this with me, and then it will be very hard for me to make the decision. "Sorry Kalpana, I was stuck with something else." Saying so he left from there.

Kalpana was playing with the Aarav and was trying to make him laugh doing different activities. Hearing loud laughter Raghav came into Aarav's room and smiled. His smile vanished after thinking of something and left from there.

Singhania Construction

Two days passed like this. Raghav was working on a file in the meantime a man came to his cabin and said, "Sir, I have checked Mr. Akash's background and it looks very clean to me." Saying so he handed a paper to Raghav and left from there. Raghav rechecked the papers the man gave him and dialed Akash's number... "Sorry Akash to make you wait. I would like you come with your parents to our house tomorrow evening." Hearing Raghav Akash thanked him and asked, "Sir, did you talk to Kalpana? What was her reaction?" Hearing Akash Raghav replied with assured, "Don't worry, have faith on me, I will talk to her tonight." Saying so Raghav cut the call. Raghav was very tensed now thinking of how he will talk to her, how he will start the conversation, what she will think of him, how she will react.

Singhania Mansion

The same night Raghav was pacing back and forth in his room and was trying to get courage to talk to Kalpana. Finally he went to Kalpana's room and stood by the door seeing her busy with her assignment. He came back assuring himself to talk to her later. After an hour he tried again and came back seeing her with Aarav. After sometime he went to her room again and saw her alone in her room, okay this is the best time to talk to her now. He then entered into her room and said, "Kalpana, I need to talk to you and its very important." Seeing him in her room and was talking to her like this she was so happy and said, "Kahiya na Raghav ji?" "Actually Kalpana, I was trying to say..." Hearing incomplete sentence Kalpana said, "Why are you hesitating? Please say na." After several attempts Raghav finally said, "Actually Kalpana, I came to say that..., that..., that how was your study? Sorry I couldn't help you out that much as I was so much busy with my pending work." Raghav couldn't tell her what he was going to tell.

Next day, Kalpana came to Raghav's room and asked, "Raghav ji I need to buy some clothes for Aarav. If you have some time would you please come with us?" "Sorry Kalpana, Could we go tomorrow? Actually we need to stay home as some guests are coming in the evening." Hearing Raghav Kalpana said, "No problem. We will go tomorrow. Do you want me to make something special for the guests?" "That would be so nice of you Kalpana." Raghav said with a smile.

In the evening Raghav and Kalpana were waiting for the guests. Hearing the bell rang Raghav went to open the door. Seeing Akash with his parents, Raghav greeted and told them to come in and sit. On the other hand Kalpana was so confused and didn't get any chance to think anything as Akash introduced Kalpana with his parents. Akash's mom checked Kalpana out completely from head to toe. Kalpana was dressed in simple salwar kameez yet it was looking elegant on her. "Kalpana please come and sit beside." Akash's mom said showing a seat beside her. Kalpana sat beside her. Then Akash's mom said holding Kalpana's hand, "You look so beautiful Kalpana," "I am eagerly waiting when you will come to our house as my DAUGHTER IN LAW."
