Part 3

"Kalpana is in Mumbai???" "Do you know where she might be? Is she with any of her relatives? Do you have her contact number?" Raghav asked. "Sir she doesn't have any relatives in Mumbai and I really don't know where she might be" said the villager. Raghav felt bad as he couldn't meet her and couldn't fulfil his promise. "Here is my contact number, please inform me if you have any news." After saying this he left.

Sighania Mansion

All alone again, as Ria left for Australia. He called Ria as he was missing her badly but her phone was switched off. I will have to talk to Ria about her modeling assignment. I don't want her too much busy with her career and she needs to find some time for her family. If I am able to manage some time for her, why not she? I will definitely convince her this time, as it is very hard for me to stay alone, he thought.

Few days passed like this, and one evening Raghav was heading back home. It was raining, he was thinking about his wife while driving the car. All on a sudden he hit on the brakes hard, "KALPANA"...just the one word slipped from his mouth. He reversed the car and stared at the girl through the car window. He quickly got out of the car and ran to the girl. The girl was standing with her head down drifting off into her own thoughts. So she couldn't realize someone's presence in front of her. "Kalpana..." hearing the sound of her own name she looked up and saw Raghav Saab standing in front of her. Seeing him, she felt so relieved as if he was the only person who she was expecting. Raghav saw her face puffing, eyes were red and watery, seemed like she cried. Both of them stared at each other for few minutes and the moment was broken by the sound of a horn. "How are you Kalpana! Where do you live? What are you doing here?" Raghav threw hundreds of questions to her surprisingly. "Saab aap yaha, glad to see you okay," said Kalpana without answering his questions. "Yes I am absolutely fine," "I am so happy to see you. You know what Kalpana, somehow I knew we will meet one day but never thought it will be so soon." "I knew you are in Mumbai as I went to see you in the village... Anyway let's get into the car and will have a talk as it is raining" he said.

Kalpana fixed herself on the passenger sit. Raghav found her sitting quite sadly. He asked her is everything alright, I saw your eyes were red, please tell me na."Hearing him she couldn't control her tears then he realized something bad happened to her. Without saying a word he drove back to the Singhania Mansion.

He opened the car door and held her hand and led her to the house. "This is my house Kalpana, from now and on, you will be staying here as a family member as I know you are all alone. Please feel at home." Saying this, he slowly took her to the couch and sat beside her. "You already know what I want to know, so would you please tell me?" Looking into his eyes she assured herself that yes, this is the only person who I really can trust the most. Then she started...

Flashback

Kalpana reached Mumbai and she was so scared and worried. How will I find a mill to work in? Where am I going to live?

Kalpana managed to find a mill after many tries with the help of some people. She went in and found out there were no vacancy and she would have to wait. Kalpana sat outside of the mill on a bench thinking of what she could do, while a middle aged woman came out of the mill and walked toward Kalpana. "Oh have you come for a job?" the woman asked. Kalpana looked up and said, "Yes, I already asked for a job but there was no vacancy." "Where do you live," the woman asked. "I just came here in search of a job so I couldn't manage anything yet," Kalpana replied. "Oh, I think I can manage something for you as you seem desperate," the woman said. "How about this, I know a lady who really needs help in her home. For the time being, you can stay there, and whenever there will be any vacancy I will let you know." Kalpana had no other choice but to agree.

The woman introduced her to the house owner and Kalpana started helping her as she was told.

Few days passed like this and Kalpi was walking down the hallway but she stopped in her tracks when she heard two maids taking to each other... "Do you know for how long he will be here?" "One month yaar...", "Oh My God! One Month!!! Just be careful okay" "Yahh I know!" Who are they talking about and why they need to be careful? Kalpana thought for the rest of the day.

Kalpana was all unaware of the incoming problems related to the mystery person...

Everyone in the house was giving in extra effort to whatever they were doing (cooking, cleaning, decorating) because Mr. Obroy's only son Vicky is coming from Delhi.

One day, Kalpana was picking some flowers from the garden when she felt someone watching her from behind. She looked behind and saw it was Vicky. She went to the living room and just ignored it. Kalpana started to put flowers in the vase on the living room table when she noticed he followed her there too. "Do you need anything chotey saab", asked Kalpana. "Yah, can you bring a glass of water to my room?" Vicky replied and left from there. Kalpana filled a glass of water and walked over to Vicky's room. When Kalpana handed the glass to Vicky he took it and at the same time touched her arm on purpose. Kalpana jerked away and shouted, "What are you doing!!!" Then she left the room. Vicky was troubling her several times and she had it! Kalpana complained to Vicky's mom about how he was behaving. His mom assured her he would not do it again. One evening (the same day Raghav found Kalpana), Vicky's family went to attend a party. No one was at home except Kalpana. Vickey returned from the party with a bad intention. He found Kalpana sleeping in her bedroom. He opened the lock with the master key and tried to force himself on her. She was so scared, she pushed him and managed to ran out from the house to save herself. (End of Flash back)

... and that's what happened," Kalpana started crying. Hearing this Raghav tightened his fists and said not to worry, bad people will get punished for their sins. Then he went to make a phone call.

In the morning, Kalpi woke up and proceeded to the dining table when something in the newspaper caught her eye "Culprit Caught for Misbehaving with a Girl" with a familiar picture. She stared at the picture for a while and then at Raghav who had his arms folded and was smiling, "You know what Kalpana, you look better when you smile,"
